We had ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from this bakery in 2023 and they were great. We're now expecting and wanted a gender reveal cake from the same bakery. We had our friend order for us as our "secret keeper" and told her all the details (size and flavors we wanted) but she was informed that the cake needed to be vanilla only for "food coloring purposes". Fast forward to the reveal, the cake wasn't even colored. They added small about of colored buttercream which absolutely could have been the flavor we wanted. In addition, the price on their website for the cake was one thing and then they charged us DOUBLE because it was "custom". Called to explain our frustration and upset and they said there was nothing they could do. Very disappointed and will not be ordering anything from here again. read more

A delightful shop located at the back of a strip mall! The entrance is shared by a health care provider, but just take the next door to the right and you'll walk into a delicious smelling bakery. They have cookies, brownies, and cupcakes to go (and on hot days, cold drinks in a cooler), and their samples of customs cakes are immaculate. This bakery is a gem! It's hard to find a cake bakery that not only makes beautiful looking cakes but fantastic tasting cakes, and this place does both with style. I've been getting cakes there for several years and they never disappoint. Found them originally when checking out local places to find great cupcakes for the kids. Most recently they made a two tiered masterpiece for my mom's 80th birthday party. Tanya worked with me and my daughter by email for two weeks to come up with the design and the result was breathtaking and delicious. No complaints there. The pie however, was a bit of a let down. It was severely undercooked on the bottom. It tasted like raw dough, which was sad since the filling was so good. Let me begin my review by saying i've been a loyal customer to this business for the past 12+ years. Every year i've ordered the same flavor and style of cake: chocolate with oreo filling - their oreo filling is truly the most delicious. Both my extremely picky sons & guests alike have grown to love & look forward to it. This year i opted for break apart cupcakes as opposed to a full cake like i usually get. The break apart cake included 24 cupcakes - 12 would be funfetti & the other 12 would be chocolate with oreo filling inside. For this I paid $130. I picked up my order and headed to my son's birthday to assume business as usual. To our surprise, when it was time to eat - none of the cupcakes had been filled with oreo filling. & as such, no one - including my son - chose to eat the plain chocolate cupcakes. I quickly wrote Cutie Pies & informed them of this, to which someone responded that they would give me 6 free cupcakes (even though the cake was supposed to include 12) following Tuesday or week later. I wrote back that even though she offered 6, the 12 cupcakes that were made incorrectly were for a birthday party that would be over by then. I preferred to be compensated for the incorrect order. Cutie Pies continued to fight me on this & said on their end the order was fulfilled since the picture i asked for was included in the cake. Completely disregarding the fact that we wanted to EAT the cupcakes, not LOOK at them. They wanted to provide a discount should we ever place a future order - assuming that I would even be making another order without doing what they should have to make things right for THIS order. Ultimately i was offered a mere $10 for our troubles, in spite of the $130 i paid. My family called to inquire afterwards how much a dozen cupcakes with oreo fillings would be as a stand alone & was quoted $42 - this WITHOUT any designs or pictures, which my cake included. What was even more upsetting was having to go back and forth with the owner Tanya on the phone & hear her laughing at me for even questioning them or their business or the fact that my hard earned money was wasted. All I was asking was for them to make things right for the money that I already spent. $10 isn't reasonable by any standards and the unprofessionalism was a slap in the face after all these years. Finding great food is lovely, but being treated with respect and integrity in this day and age means a whole lot more and I pray the staff there never have to find themselves in the situation they put me in. Needless to say due to the experience over the last few days, I absolutely do not recommend this business. read more

My fiancé and I were recommended this bakery by a former co-worker when we were on the hunt for a place that could produce wedding cake(s) for our big day. We ended up going for a tasting just to get an idea of how they were and HOLY CAKE were we impressed. First off, the bakery is adorable. Bright and fun. Like a little old fashioned candy shop with a modern twist. The woman we met with was bright and bubbly and ready to go with ideas for all different possibilities. We sat down to a phenomenal spread of fillings, buttercreams, and cupcakes that were quartered for easy mix-and-match tasting. Every. Single. Flavor. Was. Amazing. Not one cake or filling disappointed. We were so extremely impressed. My fiancé, who doesn't even eat cake; tasted (and finished) every flavor combination that they had. As we chose our combos, the woman was creatively coming up with names of different cakes that perfectly expressed the contents so our guests would know. She even came up with unbelievable decoration options for each cake that are images straight out of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. The best part is that her pricing is beyond compare. SO reasonable; you couldn't even consider anywhere else. Very fair for all of the love and work that is going into your dessert. While they didn't have any lemon meringue, she got a blueberry pie and a key lime pie. Ok, so while blueberry isn't my favorite type of pie this one was amazing! It was so good, I had a second slice with some vanilla ice cream. Key lime is my favorite and its hard to find a really good one. Well, I've found the most perfect key lime pie, ladies and gents.
