Amazzzzzinggggggg...donuts tasted unbelievable fresh. Service was excellent. Ambiance is just

This was my first time here. As soon as I walked in, I could smell the aroma of fresh baked goods. I went straight to the donuts and got a half dozen. They were delicious. I also got a monkey bar, a hard roll and a cheese danish. They were all so fresh and so delicious. The staff is very helpful as people flowed in and out. The cupcakes look delicious too!!

Harvest Bakery is a beloved Bristol Donut shop that also sells rolls, breads, desserts, etc. My friend and co-worker Amy first introduced me to the famous Harvest "Custard" donuts, that are similar to Boston creams, when she generously brought a box to work two years ago. The icing is thicker and more milk chocolaty than the standard Boston cream icing. The custard is thicker and more substantial than most standard Boston creams. The dough is always fresh. This morning, we got some of these delicious custards, a glazed cruller and an apple cider cinnamon to share. The elongated glazed cruller has great texture and flavor. Quality-wise, it was pretty close to my favorite similar donut in CT. The apple cider was good, but not quite as soft and light tasting as similar donuts I've loved in CT. 4.5 Stars for Harvest, with a round up to 5 Stars

    Rye Bread closeup. High quality!

Stopped at Harvest Bakery on the way to my daughter's dance competition. We were running late but when I got inside I was struck by an intense case of paradox of choice. Case after case of magnificent carbs. I stood indecisively until a line formed. Thankfully I grabbed a number and was waited on pretty quickly. The gentleman was nice and I selected a mini rye bread ($1.95 for a nice amount), raspberry filled donut (it had a cooler ethnic name that I can't exactly recall), a custard donut, and a shamrock shaped cookie for my daughter. The rye bread made for a delicious breakfast as is, no butter or anything. The custard donut really took breakfast to new heights. Perfectly fresh donut just oozing with real quality custard and topped with chocolate frosting, one of the top donuts I've had. I practiced patience and reserved the raspberry filled donut for the ride home. It ended up being another one of the best donuts I've ever had. Sweet raspberry filling in a glazed donut. Absolutely outstanding! Just wrapped up the day's eating by trying the shamrock cookie and it's also delicious. Perfect sugar cookie. Harvest Bakery is outstanding, I can see why it's been there for over 80 years!

Harvest Bakery is amazing! Highly recommend this place! They have a private parking lot. Service was really good! So welcoming and friendly! I think the young person said it was their last day there because they were moving. Their prices are so low for the high quality. Make a trip here even if it's out of the way.

I generally like Harvest Bakery but be careful buying dough. You need to check carefully because our 5 doughs we bought today have chunks of what I can't describe. Best to just include pictures to tell my story

1.15.21 Let's start with their business hours aren't updated. I was here a couple hours earlier today. It currently 4:45 and I just called them and they already closed at 3:00. Yelps hours show closing at 5:00 Let's go to the middle with this. When I was here earlier their social distancing isn't being enforced. They do have a sign on the door of no more than four customers in at a time but the other two people in here were all within 3 feet of me and I kept walking away to stay away from these people. And let's go to the end with this. I bought a rye bread and had it sliced. The guy who took care of us was very sweet & kind and hospitable but that's where it ended with him. And yes all of the employees have on their masks. The guy opened the plastic bag in order to place the sliced loaf inside, but what ended it for me is he placed both of his bare (ungloved) hands into the inside of the bag in order to keep the bag open and ready for him after he had it sliced. What's funny, is when he grabbed the loaf of bread to place it into the bag he did use the sheets of the wax paper on each side of the bread he was handling so that he didn't touch it with his bare hands. But again, he placed his bare hands into the inside of the plastic bag to keep it open to put the loaf of bread inside that plastic bag. I was so skeeved out and disgusted by what I was seeing and witnessing right in front of me. Especially in the times we're in with this pandemic. Totally disgusting. Totally unacceptable. Absolutely positively unacceptable. Totally unprofessional behavior and disregard for fellowhuman beings. And/or total lack of training from the owners and/or manager. This was nasty. We bought a loaf of sliced rye bread and a few sweets for later. No issues at all with the handling of the sweets. He did use the was paper to grab them and he did not place his hand into that paper bag.

Good donuts, needs tlc…read more I've been to this place before, and I appreciated the location despite it being an event. So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around

Once it was our turn to order we were devastated to find out that they were out of the K-dog batter and could no longer make any so we decided to get extra sweets instead. Overall the deserts were absolutely delicious especially the mochi donuts I would recommend the ones that we tried but of course I'm sure the others taste delicious as well. Our least favorite was probably the crepe cake but that doesn't mean it wasn't also good me and my friend just thought the batter could use a little more flavor. My friend bought the coconut cake and when she first tried it she didn't like it all that much but she said that once she put it in the fridge the texture and flavor of the cake was much better and rated it an 8/10. Aside from the pastries I ordered a mango fruit tea with passion fruit popping boba and I was a bit underwhelmed. The flavor of the fruit tea is lacking a bit but I feel my taste buds were a bit altered after so many sweet treats. I will definitely be back again to give the boba another shot and finally get my hands on those k-dogs!

Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. They are good classic dunker style doughnuts though.

My BF got an iced coffee, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We grabbed an assortment of donuts to try, since it was our first time here. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, and it was nice and cinnamon-ey which I love. I also got the cruller to enjoy later. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!

My friend arrived first she got Kevin's Not Here hot chocolate, this is a nod to Kevin from Home Alone. I arrived shortly after, I tried to order my coffee for a while. While they were busy, I felt like I was purposefully being ignored, no matter how many times I pointed to the menu and said "excuse me?". I was sitting right at the front where most of the commotion was. My friend had to raise her hand all the way up, like we had something to say in school. I guess that's the way to get their attention. I eventually got the Cannoli Cold Brew. Both of our drinks were very good. Kevin's Not Here is a white mocha base with eggnog and gingerbread syrup. This was very sweet, I could for sure taste the gingerbread. The Cannoli Cold Brew was another great choice, it tasted like what it sounds, it wasn't overly sweet.
