They created the most delicious and beautiful cake for my daughter's baby shower. Amazing lemon blueberry cake. Frosting was wonderful & not too sweet. Years later, people still comment on the cake.

The food here is always top notch, the women working here and nothing short of phenomenal, always willing and able to squeeze in an order and truly have the best baked goods around. They offer custom cakes, cupcakes, you name it they'll make it! They even offer gluten friendly (as gluten free as they can) options as well, friendly and knowledgeable staff & a cute atmosphere, very welcoming.

Came here yesterday and was greeted by Sassy Mama, the owner of the shop. She was on the phone when I came in which gave me time to check out all the sweet treats ranging from bars to cupcakes to canollis. In no rush she and I had a pleasant conversation about her favorite treats since I was new to the business. Had also asked about birthday cakes torn for my boyfriend's birthday to get a nurse, stitch or puppy cake for him. She walked me through the process which I'll have to put more thought into. Saw the check in offer after she had left to grab my chocolate cupcake topped with a buttercream pumpkin frosting that was not overtly sweet with white and milk chocolate chips and I could have grabbed the mini canollis. Ended up walking out with a business card, a free cupcake and a smile knowing that I'll definitely be back for a treat or that cake from Sassy Mama!

Wow!!! Sassy Mama Sweets delivers the good! I finally stopped by Sassy Mama Sweets to pickup some cupcakes to bring to a friend's birthday. I knew they made delicious cupcakes since I was able to have one at work from a co-worker. Not only do the cupcakes look great but they taste exceptional too! I was so impressed that I am looking into getting a confection from them for my wedding!

What a great bakery, made my cake exactly how envisioned! Turn out beautiful and looked like crafted with love and attention to detail :-) Amazing job, made my wife very happy on her birthday!

The cakes were beautiful just as we imagined them to be, presentation wise the cakes were amazing but when it came time to eat the cakes the cake was extremely hard and seemed nearly tasteless, the buttercream icing and fillings didnt taste anywhere near what they were expected to taste like and it was just a big disappointment due to the fact that we spent 130$... i have to give them one star

We had a backyard Halloween socially distanced wedding and at the last minute, my grandmother decided it wasn't a wedding without a cake. My husband and I never planned on having one, but she insisted. So the Wednesday before I called in and I really had no idea what to get/what we wanted or how to decorate! The ladies there offered some excellent suggestions, I told them to make it simple, not too sweet frosting, and they came up with a beautiful, perfect cake for the day. Vanilla with cookie dough filling and chocolate with peanut butter mousse? Amazing! Happy to say we were able to save two slices for our anniversary, but the rest? GONE!!! Everyone loved it. Excellent job and thank you for helping out in a pinch!

I've had two birthday cakes made from this bakery two years in a row and I loved them both! My friends got me these cakes and have expressed how easy the planning process was to execute their visions appropriately. These cakes were BEAUTIFUL and made my past two birthdays even more special. And not to mention extremely tasty I'll definitely be going back to Sassy Mama Sweets for all future events!

Bourbon, oreo, mounds, golden oreo. Thank you for your kindness! A free birthday cupcake just made my day

I selected the bourbon, mounds, golden oreo and regular oreo cupcakes! Such a kind gesture... I was treated to a free birthday cupcake! thank you so much! I love your shop and beautifully designed masterpieces

    * announces through megaphone * these ladies are the bomb!!! I was in search for my goddaugther's 1st birthday cake. Was kind of in a panic because no one I knew was able to help me out. Sassy Mama's was recommended by a friend so I said based on the designs on their site lets do it. I went to pick up the cake and it was so beautiful I was so excited! I walked into the party with the cake and everyone was so enthralled with the presentation. I kind of didnt want anyone to eat it , it was so nice lol Alexis took the order & made my vision come to life. The cake tastes just as good as it looks. Everyone enjoyed the chocolate oreo filled joy! You have a forever customer in me Ladies! Thank youuu for blessing my god daugther on her 1st birthday with a creation so dope!

Amazing fresh bourbon cupcakes with the right amount of sweetness, tastes just like something you'd find in europe.

According to the bday boy this place makes yummy cupcakes and he enjoyed this special delivery.

Soooooo glad I found this bakery on Yelp. Ordering over the phone was a breeze and they delivered the next day before 12pm as discussed. According to the bday boy their cupcakes are pretty good so I'm glad I went with them. A dozen assortment was $25 and delivery $20. I'll definitely check this place out when I'm in CT next. Only minor thing was that the lady said she'll text me after she delivers the cupcake which didn't happened. Happy bday boy, happy me!

In Italy, the word is "Nonnie" which just happens to be the name of an amazing Italian bakery we visited today. To be honest, calling Nonni's a "bakery" really shortchanges Grandma, because it is SO much more than that. Yes, of course they sell an incredible variety of beautifully crafted cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and cannolis, but you can also buy breakfast sandwiches, pizza, stromboli, arancino, stuffed breads, grinders, chicken cutlets and more. Their store is awesome, and you'll find yourself staring at their showcases and refrigerated cases. Service is top notch, with plenty of helpful and smiling folks helping you. We picked up an eclectic group of odds and ends - croissants, donuts, danishes, and a big arancini stuffed with meat and vegetables. We attacked that first as an appetizer with dinner, and it was terrific. I can't wait to sample the rest of their wares. PRO TIP Their Italian cookies look amazing, and we will definitely be back to supply our Thanksgiving dessert table with their Rainbow and Birthday Cake cookie cubes.

With axe throwing, a retro arcade, coffee, chocolate, and this bakery. I got to explore the exposed brick and large filament lights of this specific locale, and picked up some sweets from this little shop. It's very much loud and proud in it's appearances on popular food television. Having pride in your success is a good thing, but it's very much in your face about it. It also prices accordingly, making the price of the baked goods you get at least a couple bucks extra. Thankfully, the baked goods are actually pretty good. We got a couple misfits, a couple french macarons, and one of the dessert waffles they had. The misfit muffins tasted pretty good, soft and light, not too sweet, and well balanced. The French macarons, they were not too great. the filling was sweet but lacking depth. they were pretty though. The standout was the Dessert waffle. Sweet, crispy but cakey, and plenty of chocolate and peanut butter flavor. A surprising bite, and tasty. Overall, it's a good dessert place to go to and try out. Not worth a trek, but a solid choice for that specific area

A second location opened in Southington at the historic Factory Square complex in October 2021. Another location once existed at the Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, but it has since closed. The locations offer cupcakes, custom cakes, cake pops, whoopie pies, cookies and muffins. I stopped at the Southington location of Hardcore Sweet for the first time this past July. Several businesses located at Factory Square were offering special menu items to celebrate Harry Potter's birthday. Factory Square is located conveniently alongside the popular Farmington Canal Trail, so I cycled there. Hardcore Sweet had several Harry Potter offerings that day, but by the time I had arrived most of them were sadly sold out. I ordered one of the few Harry Potter treats that they had left: Buckbeak's Breakfast Cupcake. It was delicious! I definitely need to come back to try more of their tasty treats on a future visit to Factory Square. I just need to get there earlier in the day when their selection is bigger.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around
