Lemon Bundtlet
Kathleen S.

Came to this cute little bakery at the spur of the moment and I'm happy I did. I enjoyed a lemon bundt cake. Everything at this bakery is made from scratch to include the icing. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I definitely would come here again to enjoy a tasty treat.

My one guilty pleasure. It'd be part of my last meal request. I'm not a sweets person but Nothing Bundt Cakes has nothing but a full grasp on my taste buds. While I was at West Hartford for work, I had a couple of these over the week. I can't believe how irresistible these are. I genuinely am concerned that I'll dream about this. Upon my return, I've only had more. It's definitely not healthy but man.... Does it make me happy. Albeit for a bit, before reality settles in that I just inhaled 1000 calories worth of garbage. I always get the chocolate chip one. It never fails me. The first time I ever had it was for my birthday 3 years ago. I tried not to think about it until it re-entered my life during this trip. Dear god almighty help my taste buds from forgetting this amazing creation.

I randomly popped in after visiting other establishments in the plaza. Very cute decor, boutique style. I was greeted by a nice lady who asked if I had been there before. I advised it was my first time. A young lady behind the counter explained the different sizes the cakes came in and how all had the same frosting. I opted for the strawberry and cream. They had a nice selection of flavors. I took a couple of pics, but I drove back to New Haven in warmer weather, so the frosting melted some. My pics don't due much justice. But the flavor was delicious. I placed it in the fridge when I got home and had it chilled later. The texture and consistency was perfect. An individual cake is $6. And you get a nice sized piece. I highly recommend. If you have a sweet tooth and are in the area, they're worth the visit.

I've wanted to visit Nothing Bundt Cakes for a while, but I didn't know where in West Hartford it is. It turns out it's to the left of Trader Joe's and I never noticed. Who knew? Somebody once made a Bundt cake for a floor work birthday party, and I turned to a much younger person and said "did you know, in the Seventies, in certain parts of the US, Bundt was the standard bearer for all cakes?" It was meant as a joke, but in reality, it's somewhat true. There is something magical about a Bundt cake. 360 degrees of arches. The angles and slopes. The hole and the ridges. Slightly crispy outside in every piece. Bundts are delightful. We bought 4 "mini" bundts, and the one I ate was terrifically well executed. It had bright lemon flavor. The cake was super fresh. The icing was light, slightly sweet and soft. The cake was about the size of a large muffin. It was pretty much perfect. I asked my 11 year old how he liked his Snickerdoodle Mini Bundt Cake. He answered with an unqualified "it was delicious!" And he's not shy about telling me I went 30 seconds too long with the Kraft Mac and Cheese. The store was really cute. Service was great. NBC has my 5 Star Recommendation.

I LOVE Nothing Bundt Cakes. I'm so happy that there is a location in Connecticut. I first had a Nothing Bundt Cake at a pop-up years ago at an outlet mall in Orlando, Florida. I had dreamt of that cake since in hope for a location to pop-up permanently in my home state. Finally, Nothing Bundt Cakes made its way to here. The cakes are still had sweet, moist and delicious I had remembered. I visit the West Hartford location periodically as it's in the Corbin's Corner shops near Trader Joe's. I like their bundtlets, a mini bundt that's the size of a jumbo cupcake. My favorite flavors are White Chocolate Raspberry, Snickerdoodle, and Lemon. They have their staple line up along with a seasonal flavor. They always have a gluten free option too. You can also order larger bund cakes, 8 inch, 10" or tiered for special occasions like birthday themes, holidays, sports and Just Because. They also have smaller bundt cakes called bundtinis, about the size of a mini cupcake, that can be ordered by the dozen. The shop is small with the bundt cake case front and center when you walk in. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It's a great one-stop shop for last minute birthday gifts and treats. Around the shop, local handmade gifts, candles, trinkets, balloons and cards that you can pick up with your sweet gift. This location is closed on Sunday.

There several locations in Florida but my cousin never herd of this place. There was one in Connecticut. She was in the mood for something sweet. The staff were nice and recommended the Bundt of the month which was Oreo. We only got one and split. I like it but my cousin felt she couldn't taste any Oreo. The place was cute and clean.

I highly recommend this place! The owner, Traci, is a lovely lady! So welcoming! This is a woman- owned business. Traci explained that the original franchise was started by women, and there is a lot of support for women artists. You can buy art and gifts. Traci offered me samples. If you buy 4 little bundts, called bundlets, you get a insulated bag that gets you 10% off everything you'll buy every time you visit again. It's great to discourage waste. The bus keys were great. I got lemon, strawberries and cream, birthday cake, and my favorite - chocolate chocolate chip. The cake is so moist. The frosting is perfect! It's a cute store. There is a lot of parking. Everything is awesome about this place! I highly recommend you visit!!

I've been wanting to try Nothing Bundt Cakes for a while. I remember seeing it in Charlotte, NC & being intrigued but never actually had a chance to try. When I heard they were coming to West Hartford, I was very excited. Well, I finally made it in and I was not disappointed. The cakes are surprisingly light, deliciously moist, with the perfect amount of frosting. Love that they have a variety of sizes so you can sample all of the flavors ;)

Random pop in. Whoa! I don't know what they put in these cakes but it's culinary crack! We are now obsessed and haven't found a flavor we don't like. They have seasonal flavors as well as their regular everyday fare. This year we've seen Reeces Peanutbutter, Oreo and Lemon Blueberry...each one delicious. They have large cakes, bundlets (the pictures) and cupcakes. They also have us a nice reusable carry tote bag. The service is outstanding, everything is fresh and very affordable. Not really much ambiance to speak of - it's just a storefront, but don't judge this book by its cover. Go in and grab some bakery crack to go! Enjoy.

"Why wait any longer for the world to begin? You can have your cake and eat it too Why wait any longer for the one you love? When he's standing, in front of you" (Bob Dylan) Cuteness Overload!! Cuteness awaits you in every square inch of "Nothing Bundt Cakes", right next to Trader Joes. The store is full of colorful pastels, and their itty bitty Munchkin sized Bundtinis, personal sized little Bundt cakes (Bundtlets), and full size Bundt cakes are so freaking adorable you just may pass out from delight. Speaking of cute and adorable, I want to give a shout out to Ja'Nyra who walked us through the product case and gave us the scoop on their best sellers and her favorites. She was awesome !! After our consultation, we decided on a Carrot Cake Bundtlet and a White Chocolate Raspberry Bundtlet (Ja'Nyra's personal favorite!). They were delicious. They cost $5.50 each and were easily shared as an after dinner dessert for the two of us. We will definitely pick up a dozen Bundtinis for company or to put out for Thanksgiving.

One of my coworkers has been ranting and raving about this place since it opened, and insisted I check it out. So I finally got around to it this weekend and now I know what the hype is all about. The store is inviting and has a cuteness about it. The staff is friendly, and extremely helpful. Now onto the Bundt cakes. There are many options and something for every palate and dietary restriction. After checking out the menu I decided upon the red velvet and carrot cake. Both were so tasty and the frosting had the perfect amount of sweetness. I will definitely be back to try more flavors. And I'm sure I'll be purchasing these cakes at holiday time.

We LOVE Nothing Bundt Cakes and we were so excited to see that one was opening in our area. Nothing Bundt Cakes was my client forever ago and they were lovely people which led to my original adoration for them, and then I finally got to try their cakes while visiting relatives in Michigan and they were just as good as I had hoped. Nothing Bundt Cakes was also at West Hartford Celebrates and they were so kind and friendly. Then, I called to confirm they were open and it was the same - just kind, good people selling incredible cakes. Welcome to the neighborhood! We love you!! Ps red velvet and white chocolate raspberry are my favorites but all of them are great :)

"Oooh, it looks cool in here...smells yummy, too!" "These flavors! Okay, maybe I'll get something...but what?!" "Bourbon breakfast, please!" I had to end the quotes here because I'm sure some unholy sounds came out as I ate some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I say some of the best because I tried all of my family members' flavors and they were all winners. Also, we live in Connecticut, where there is a lot of great ice cream. Anyway, go to Milkcraft. Long lines? Probably. Expensive? Kind of, but you very much get what you pay for...a transcendent ice cream experience with flavors you won't find elsewhere.

There were a handful of seats. We went on a weekend so there was a short line. There was a couple in front of us taking forever to sample all the ice cream, which I won't fault the workers for the long wait. I decided to get a bubble cone Vietnamnese ice cream. It was good but the bubble cone was too much for me. It would have been better in a cup or small cone. I like the artwork on the walls and it's in a good location. Overall, a decent spot to get ice cream.

As far as I can tell, anyway. All of their competitors are: Nero, Hartford Baking Co, Starbucks, Bruegger's, Dunkin'..... In 2026, I don't think this is optional. Notice how many Super Bowl ads were Uber Eats, GrubHub, and DoorDash? They must be doing pretty well if they can afford Super Bowl ads. Maybe places don't like the lower margins, but isn't that better than no sale at all? Plus it becomes an advertisement for your place. For many lazy people like myself, if you're working from home, you don't want to get up earlier to trudge out in the cold and snow. But if you can just tap your phone and get it delivered in 20 minutes....... Do it, guys. It might be your only hope.

I got a scoop of Two Berry Pie ("Vanilla-flavored ice cream, strawberry, blueberry & sugared pie crust") in a cup and the little got Lemon Sorbetto! Both were rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. Kilwin's offers a sample so you can actually taste before you decide, which is a major win. It was a tough decision, but I will be back for the Cake Batter. The cones are made fresh in-house and smell divine. Beyond ice cream, there's a whole lineup of treats dipped in chocolate: pretzels, Oreos, marshmallows, you name it. Sweet tooth? Handled. Diet? Not. Service: Everyone was super friendly and patient, even with a line. You can tell they actually enjoy working there, which makes the whole experience feel even sweeter. Atmosphere: It's more of a grab-and-go setup, like just a candy store that sells ice cream not an ice cream shop, so there's no indoor seating but right outside there are plenty of benches in downtown West Hartford. The area is busy, walkable, and perfect for a side of people-watching. The quality is top-tier, the flavors are spot-on, and everything feels like a treat because it is. Worth every penny. 10/10 recommend for locals and visitors too.

They were excellent, cold, thick, refreshing, frozen comfort food at its best and oh so nostalgic. Reminded me of the shakes we used to get t Howard Johnson's a lifetime ago.
