    Blueberry ice cream

3.5/5 Cute and calming space that takes you out of the hustle and bustle of Weha. Take your pick of a snack from macarons, ice cream, baklava, sweet/savory crepes (made right in front of you!), and endless syrup options for drinks. Blueberry ice cream (kid scoop) {3.5/5}: The ice cream was too sweet for me, but there were real blueberry pieces throughout the ice cream was very enjoyable

A pretty decent cafe, with some fancy eats and french macaroons. Not bad, but not great. Came here on a whim, looking for coffee and looking to try some new places. The place is small but cozy, not a lot of seating and the front counter didn't allow for a lot of room to maneuver. Opted for a mexican latte and a few french macaroons along with a chocolate chip cookie. The Mexican latte had a little bit of a zip to it, they used a cinnamon flavored syrup to give it a bit of heat. Beyond the zip, not much to remember about it. The french macaroons, weirdly enough the texture was a bit dense and mealy. Kind of like the almondflour wasn't sifted. However the flavor of the fillings was very strong, which I appreciate. If you got a pistachio macaroon, it's going to hit you over the head with a pistachio flavor. The chocolate chip cookie was a well executed chocolate chip cookie. Soft, good chocolate, decent size. There wasn't anything that differed this chocolate chip cookie versus any other chocolate cookie though. I liked the flavors offered, but everything was a little off. It's good, but there's a lot of good options in the area for both coffee and baked goods. Worth a try

Came here for a breakfast/coffee date with hubby just to try a new cafe since we moved to CT. The coffee is very tasty and the crepes are delicious! It's a cute little interior with some seating available. They have several menu options. The location is nice as it's in a central part of town with lots to walk around and look at.

Went to this cafe to pick up some macarons for my mother. This cafe is super cute and I definitely need to come back to try come more pastries and ice cream. I ordered a savory crepe and it was alright, although a little pricey and it took way longer to be completed than expected. I suppose that can be a good thing since the crepes are fresh and if I weren't busy running errands I wouldn't have been in a rush and probably would have had a better sit-down experience. My bf ordered a funky monkey smoothie and it was very filling. There are a few outdoor tables available on the patio and it is a nice spot for coffee in Blue Back Square. My mom enjoyed the macarons and I definitely would like to return to see more of what Cafe Sofia has to offer.

    Toasted marshmallow iced coffee

I've gone to Cafe Sofia many times through the years. I've mostly had their coffee, but I've also had their delicious Belgian waffles, piled with plenty of fresh fruit and whipped cream. They have a nice selection of European desserts, pastries and macaroons. They also have ice cream. Today I stopped in for their coffee, I also got a macaroon. They have a large selection of coffee flavors to chose from. Then there was a menu of their top selling flavors. I got the Toasted Marshmallow iced coffee. I couldn't decide on a macaroon, the young man suggested I get the passionfruit macaroon. The coffee was excellent as excepted. I like the Toasted Marshmallow, I can't say it tasted like marshmallow, but it was solid, with plenty of strong coffee flavor. Also their small, is a very generous size. The Passionfruit macaroon, was very fresh, but this flavor was too sweet for me. It's still a very good pick, in its golden yellow color, and the sweet creme in the center. I probably would go for a different flavor next time. Cafe Sofia is very small, they have a few spots for outdoor seating, and a few for indoor seating. They deliver excellent coffee and desserts.

Stopped in on Valentines Day for a warm cup of chai. The chai was delicious. The cafe was cozy. Only issue was the lady waiting on us was not friendly. She never welcomed us, sat playing on her phone while I was standing there ready to order, never smiled and never said "thank you" "enjoy" or "have a nice day". For me that made it a one and done. I gave it a 3 star rating because it was very clean and the chai was really good.

Local cafe in the downtown. I loved the vibe. Quaint and cozy. People are relax, friendly and warm. Good location. We walked in for snacks. Got ourselves comfortable on a high bar table with free WiFi and outlet. Food is great. Loved my crepe.

Cute little cafe in West Hartford Center! Stopped by and ordered a iced Mexican mocha latte! I did not really like it at first but it got better the more I drank it, probably because the whipped cream on top got incorporated in more. They also have other desserts such as crepes, macaroons, baklava, and more!

Overpriced, rude workers/owners & bad drinks. Feel sorry for the poor people who wander in because it's in a popular street.

They'd recently opened at the time. After 9 months we went again recently on December 27, 2025. We also brought our friends here after that. Yemerica's menu has expanded big time. They offer so many hot / iced lattes, refreshers, matcha drinks, mojitos, hot Yemeni beverages, fruit mojitos, Frappuccinos, etc. And they've also expanded their food menu. Now they have a wide variety of pastries and desserts to choose from, and bunch of non-sweet food items as well. The cafe is almost full at night / peak hours, especially on weekends. They have an area that can be reserved for meetings, study sessions, etc. They have ample of seating available for all group sizes. The staff is very friendly and patient. They have outdoor patio seating during warm weather and the interior has beautiful hand painted murals. Beverages: I've recently tried and liked their Abu Walad iced latte, Salted caramel iced latte, and Tiramisu iced latte. Adani chai was interesting & worth a try. My partner has tried their kiwi refresher and strawberry mojito. He really liked them both. Our friends tried the hazelnut hot latte, Kunda latte, and honey saffron latte. They were all real good. Food: Bee bites is such an interesting dish, so worth it. Their Treleche caramel was so soft. It melted as soon as the bite hit the tongue. Sabaya was a non-sweet item with just the right amount of honey sweetness. Marook with dates was an interesting balance of textures and taste. Z'atar Manakeesh is filled with flavours of herbs. Cheese pie was fluffy and soft. Their chocolate and tiramisu cakes looked delicious and I can't wait to revisit and try those among so many other things they have to offer.

They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid).
