    Tigers blood!
    Lisa F.

What a perfect addition to Parkville! The snowball is reminiscent of shave ice in Hawaii, especially with the condensed milk over the top. The 8oz was a good size for me--I got the tigers blood flavor (strawberry coconut) with the condensed milk topping-- great flavor recommendation, I can see why it's one of the most popular. The staff was super nice and helpful. While waiting to order, I watched to them make the fried dough and they look so cool--maybe next visit I'll try this!

If you are ever visiting the Parkville Market in Hartford CT you must try Sno n Dough it's certainly worth a try. I stopped in after seeing the Van Gogh exhibit. I got a snowball with tigers blood. No condensed milk. It was WONDERFUL. The owner was very nice. What made me stop is I saw the segment about Sno n Dough on CT Live. It was certainly worth my time. Will stop in again. I say go and check Sno n Dough out. Enjoy!!!

Did someone say snow cone in 20 degrees weather with some amazing friends? A place that brings back memories to your childhood days of having that snow cone on a hot summer day. 20 something years later I am here trying another version of snow cone called Snoballs. They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from and my first choice was the strawberry. It had condensed milk on top which make it so sweet, creamy, and delicious. It was like a strawberry milkshake on top and strawberry slushy underneath. Oh my, I think I need another. Next on the list to try was the fried dough. The menu pictures looked amazing and I could hardly decide on what to get. A friend recommended the Nutella and banana and I was told this was their top seller. It was very delicious, not too sweet and I even brought some home for my husband to try. He said that it was huge, sweet, and delicious and maybe he will have to go to the gym tomorrow lol. Thinking about it now makes him want another bite. Lol I would definitely recommend for your sweet treats and I think it will get a lot busier in the summer when the time is hot. I will be back to try more flavors.

The restaurant is located inside Parkville Market. If you're not familiar with Parkville Market, it's a market filled with numerous restaurants. Cool right. Parking is great. Pay attention for the Parkville at the entrance of the packing lot or you'll miss it! There's plenty of space but expect to park a little further during lunch and busy hours. While dining at Meltdown he owner came out and hit us with a major surprise! Sno N Dough(which was formerly opened but closed)was back! If you're not familiar with Sno N Dough, they served sweet treats like snowcones and fried dough, Louisiana style. He is the owner of both. I have to say this totally made my day! I went right on down to get me one, lol. They used to be opened right next door to Meltdown. Now they're all the way at the other end I can't make it to a carnival, no problem, lol. Their fried dough is out of this world. It's so good I didn't get a pic, lol. The difference between their snowcones and traditional is that theirs are topped with Sweet Condensed milk. Baybeeee before you jugde, try it and i promise you'll like it. Now i get it all through my snowcone! Highly recommend and would come again! I'm so happy they're back!!!!

I am not a huge sweets person - but many of my friends are! I initially came here for a yelp event and every time someone I know wants something sweet, I can't suggest Sno 'N Dough enough. My last trip to Parkville Market my friend wanted some fried dough, and got the oreo flavored. OMG it was the best fried dough I have ever had - I can't stop thinking about it! The dough itself was perfect and topped with oreos, ice cream, a heaping pile of whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle. Of course their sno cones are equally as delicious, I love their homemade whipped cream! Highly recommend getting dessert here if you're at Parkville Market.

3 beignets for 8.99 and COLD!!
    Des D.

This had to be a joke. We ordered their new menu item "beignets" and were so excited. For 8.99 you get three very small beignets. That's nearly $3 a piece. Not only that but they were still COLD in parts of it. I also really assumed I would be getting at least 4 beignets for the price. I have no clue if I was supposed to get 4 but we saw the man frying our beignets where he fried 4 total but ate the 4th one immediately before serving us. Again- could be a coincidence but it was really odd that he made 4 and kept one for himself to eat in front of us lol. I was not a fan of this place.

This is a really nice spot in Parkville Market !Has great options if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth. I tried 2 types of fried dough so far and I was happy with both. One was the s'mores and the other was 50/50 (half sugar ,half cinnamon).I was expecting for the s'mores to be way too sweet for me but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it wasn't too much!I do love the classic fried dough however I would like to try the other options next time I go .Did someone said Taco ?

The location of is full of lights and music sounds that can keep you moving. SNO N Dough was the perfect addition to this location. Who can say no to Carnival food. The Snoball is such a great tasting treat. This is such a great spot to bring friends family and you'll have a good time thinking your at a Carnival. The food is just as if your at a Carnival to melt your taste buds on some delicious treats. The guys that work there are very friendly and love what they do. Check them out with out a doubt.

Receipt for fried dough that employees loudly and falsely accused me of walking away without paying for.
    Joe M.

Bought a fried dough from their booth at the jazz festival. I was walking away with my food when an employee chased me halfway back to the lawn yelling that I didn't pay for my order. On top of causing an embarrassing scene, this was totally incorrect. I described the employee who had swiped my card and rung up my order only a couple minutes earlier, and was told that this was the same employee who was claiming that I hadn't paid! Luckily, the receipt had been sent to my email (see attached photo) and proved them wrong. Ridiculous. EDIT: I caught them at a quiet moment and I was literally the only one in line to pay when this happened. It was calm enough that the employee was able to chat with me for a minute while ringing up my food, which made it even more absurd that five minutes later she was insisting I hadn't paid.

Banana Nutella Fried dough was the best I ever had. The combination works really good. I am not a big fan of shaved icecream. The flavor of tiger blood was good, but overall I would say it was ok.

I was so excited to attend my first Elite Yelp event. Deploying for the entire year of 202. I like the Parkville area you have so many foodie spots to try. But today it was all about Sno N Dough. The guys were excited to have me there. The owner had me try the Tiger's Blood Snoball. fanny pal, compliment from Yelp. Thank you Yelp. I had a bag of popcorn. I brought my mom along. The popcorn was banging. I can attest to that because my mom devoured it. The Tiger's Blood snoball was sweet, refreshing and the whipped cream on top is great when you add both to your spoon. It was like a surprise in my mouth. I look forward to returning for fried dough and churros. To all my Elite Yelpers I look forward to my next Elite Yelper event. So let's continue to eat our way through the world. #foodie4life.

Had a great experience today at Sno N Dough. It's located in the Parkville Market in Hartford. Plenty of parking outside. I've never had a Louisiana snowball before, but plan on returning for more. I got there before they opened, but the friendly staff said they were ready to serve. I got the whole run down on how they were made and all the ingredients that go into it. I'm not a big fan of whipped cream, so I asked for a small amount. That was a mistake because it was the best whipped cream I've ever eaten. All the flavors mixed in very well. As it slowly melted, each ingredient was mixed together deliciously. Very positive experience and will be returning. Even grabbed some popcorn to go with my sno-ball

For our appetizers, we are having the cucumber salad and vegetable dumplings. Like most hot pot places, they have a sauce bar and niece a new mini bar with fruit, salad and friend items. Complementary ice water is immediately served. The cucumbers are crunchy and delicious! I actually liked the vegetarian dumplings! Well, with a little soy sauce, of course! For my first drink, I'm having their world famous (well, I love it) Stateside Lychee Martini. We use Grey Goose. They make it with Bella Spritz Elderflower Liqueur and fresh lychees. This is filled to the rim! I love the fresh lychees! This is good! For my soup bases, I'm having the Chengdu Hot & Spicy soup made with bay leaves, fennel, Szechuan peppers, chili peppers, star aniseed, scallion and ginger. I'm also having the ChongQing Butter Pot. This is going to be a hot and spicy meal. They do have plenty of vegetarian options. The sushi was good btw. For my next drink, I'm having a French Martinj made with Tito's Handmade Vodka (Goose for us), Chambord and a splash of pineapple juice. This is cutely garnished and tastes great! For dessert, I am having the Coppa Pistacio which is custard gelato swirled with chocolate and pistachio gelato topped with praline pistachios. This is ice cold and yummy! For my last drink, I'm having Mango Martini made with Absolut Vodka (Grey Goose for us), Cointreau, mango syrup, and a splash of pineapple and cranberry juice. Once again, it is nicely garnished and tastes the best! What a great time here!

The menu is online, viewable by scanning the QR code in your booth, and at the end then you pay at the cashier not through the website. We each ordered the mini hotpot with two broths and got a table full of meats and veggies and even ordered a second round of meat (in hindsight, that was too much and we weren't able to finish it all). The sauce bar was fully stocked, and the ingredients were fresh. The bowls and spoons were a bit hard to find though and I had to ask for a staff member for help. The fruit bar was a bit empty, but there was enough for a dessert. The wait staff was very friendly, though they kept forgetting to refill our water, and we kept asking them about it. Overall, a great experience!

Although the food was quite delicious, the service was quite lacking. We were the first to arrive as it's only been minutes from them opening for the day. We were told we can sit anywhere and that seemed convenient. Right off, we were told that the first order, we couldn't get rice bowls or fried rice. Also that they didn't have any fried chicken. There was no context or further explanation. I was left to think that 1... since we're only a party of two, we were restricted on what we could order. Perhaps they are trying to place minimums on the total check which was fair. It's better to explicitly say that and 2... since we are technically the first check of the day. In any case, so much confusion there. There was no language barrier to be had since our server was Caucasian and the other server there spoke English very well. We ordered a few appetizers that were all delicious as well as bulgogi and japchae. Apart from those, we didn't see our server at all besides the time we placed the order, when the dishes were served and when we asked for the check. I read somewhere that side dishes and tea were provided on the house, didn't happen. Even though the dishes were great, I won't recommend to dine inside. Best take it to go and save yourself the service.
