I work right by here but finally had the time to stop in. I got a maple vanilla breve, a veggie wrap, and a pecan pie bar. Everything was so good! I want to try their oatmeal cookie latte next time. My veggie wrap was so good i'm going to come here whenever I want a veggie wrap! The pecan pie bar was amazing, I've personally never had anything like it. The staff were super nice and worked quickly. This spot is also super cute with lots of seating. Parking probably isn't great but I got lucky for this visit! Hopefully I can order from here while I'm at work!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing coffee. A little late in the day so not too many options. Place was clean with a comfy indoor area to sit and watch tv, watch the street or relax in the warm sun

If you have unpaid parking tickets, you might want to avoid the New Britain Cafe Busy Bean. Although it has completely separate space, it's part of the New Britain Police Department Building. I don't have unpaid tickets, but I was especially careful to wait for the "Walk" signal. I enjoyed my recent visit to the Berlin Cafe Busy Bean and my experience with the NB location was also very good. My black iced coffee seemed like a smooth and balanced dark roast. It was very good. My everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was great. I've never had a more "everything" everything bagel, although it did tie with the Berlin Cafe Busy Bean. I'm sure the NB Cafe Busy Bean can live with that. I note that the Berlin Cafe Busy Bean felt homier and had a nicer pastry/dessert display case in terms of choices and presentation than the NB location. The NB seating area was functional, but not cute like Berlin. I didn't look at the menu for the NB location and therefore I'm not sure if they have the same options as Berlin. Service was friendly and efficient. 4 Stars for the NB Cafe Busy Bean.

The food here was delicious, it's plated so pretty and with care. The service is quick and the ambiance of the place is amazing, they play great singable music, have outlets if your working on a laptop and a variety of seats from comfy chairs to regular chairs.

First time at Cafe Busy Bean. It's a beautiful cafe, coffee is on point the vibe just right, and the staff is friendly and kind. If you need a workstation with outlets like me to plug in you'll find a few in the back of the shop. The only thing I'd change is the pay to park situation but that's a city issue. Will definitely be back here on the regular. Till next time.

    Apple crepe...yum!

Great coffee shop in downtown New Britain! First time here but drove by a few times and decided to check it out. Ordered a latte which was excellent and also had an apple crepe. Excellent crepe! The apple filling was not too sweet which is a rarity! Usually the fillings are too sweet but with a dash of powdered sugar on top...yum!! I'll definitely be back! Bruno, behind the counter, was super friendly! Great addiction to New Britain!

Coffee is always burnt, and the vibes of the place are a bit off. The food is good though.

They have plenty of seating, some upholstered furniture and we saw a few Friday morning telecommuters working on their laptops and sipping their coffees. Our order was a Chai Latte and a Cold Brew - each was $5. The pours were very large, and I swear that my cold brew was the very best I've ever had. I love coffee, drinking it hot or cold, and what I had here is in my all-time Top Five Percent. It was that good. I had a sip of my wife's Chai Latte and thought it was excellent as well. What really impressed me were the flavors of both drinks- not overpowering, but strong enough to appreciate them. The Coffee Guy has it all - specialty coffees, matcha, chai, espresso drinks, and pastries and sweet treats to pair with your coffee cup. We couldn't resist grabbing a few on our way out, and we took home a box with a Spinach croissant, iced blueberry scone, and a cruffin (croissant/muffin hybrid). We loved our visit to the Coffee Guy, and I was so impressed by the total experience, I just subscribed to their newsletter. So the next time we're looking for a midday break or afternoon pick-me-up..... I know a guy!

I ordered my favorite Giv drink, an iced mocha, which was perfection. His name is Taki Tanaka, and he's a master at crafting any coffee you might desire. He can be currently found at the very unique space combining dance and drinking coffee, Garage Dance Studio & Coffee Lounge. While the dance studio and the coffee lounge share the same space, they don't share the same hours of operation. I was here a few months ago, to find the coffee portion in the dark and the dance floor in full bloom! I came again yesterday afternoon, to find the opposite. This time the coffee lounge was open, and no one was on the dance floor. The inside is set to look like you're in somewhere in Madrid amongst the colorful buildings, where the tables are all adorned with red tablecloths. Of course, the barista working was Taki Tanaka. We chatted briefly and he made me the most delightful Honey Fig Latte. It was creamy, foamy, with a beautiful rose art design he hand poured himself. This was mildly sweet, rich in coffee, utterly satisfying with each sip. I just wish there was dance to see.

I decided to order a Chai Latte because I had never tried it before. I don't drink coffee, but the Chai Latte was good. For me, it needed to be a little sweeter, but all in all, it was a Chai Latte. There is also a dance studio located inside the coffee shop. They offer dance lessons, and the inside, from the dance clothes to the others hanging from the window, gives off a Latin vibe.

The arugula salad was very light and fresh, it had crispy almonds and chickpeas all over. I got the Winter Chili Grain Bowl. This was very satisfying on a winter day. The chili was tender and offered just a bit of heat. The corn on it was crunchy, there was a small scoop of a grainy salad and some fresh avocado. When it was my turn to order, I asked what kind they had and the woman taking orders said a few things, but all I heard was strawberry. In part because I don't have the best hearing, and in part because there is a plastic shield separating customers from the employees. I asked if she could repeat the types. She stared at me unhappily for about 10 seconds, seemingly trying to make me feel uncomfortable. I said I couldn't hear you. There was obviously a bit of an issue understanding each other, but it became clear that I was asking her to say the choices again. She ultimately repeated them. Complete with annoyed glances. After I heard the types, I said I wanted the strawberry. She said "how many?" I said just one because I wanted to eat it then and didn't need any for later. From her body language and the disturbed look in her eyes, I could tell that she was unhappy, that I was getting just one. Like I was inconveniencing her by making her put forth such effort for just one paczki. I responded that I didn't want it anymore and walked out. I can't remember the last time a person working in a business has been that openly rude to me. I'll never be back. 1 Star
