I tried - matcha - matcha was good quality and I like how I could adjust the sugar brown sugar - this was so delicious and I would order it again! Taro The tapioca is chewy and soft here which I like and the prices are reasonable!! I would love to see more toppings and flavors though.

    Simple menu!

Tea Break became my favorite bubble tea/boba shopin the Hartford area the minute I took my first sip. I like my bubble tea to actually taste like tea with a hint of creaminess from the milk. That's what Tea Break delivers. My go-to drink is the Classic Pearl Milk Tea (green tea). Add in boba balls or pudding and it's heavenly! Well balanced strength of tea with a little bit of creamy milk flavoring. The pudding and boba are both lightly sweetened so they have a little extra flavor and texture as you drink! When I'm craving something fruity, I can never go wrong with the Passion Fruit Green Tea with half sugar. The reduced sugar is definitely needed, and even recommended on the menu. Take their (and my) word, reduced sugar in their fruit teas is a must. If you get regular sugar, it's still good - just be prepared for it to be very sweet. When customizing your drinks to your liking, you'll easily find your favorite as well! There's always a line wrapping the corner, and I'm always willing to wait for it. Worth it.

This is the first bubble tea in west hartford and their prices are the cheapest out of all the tea shops in the town! I love the classic bubble milk tea and I see people ordering a lot of the plum and taro teas. I've been a regular since I work nearby and it's way better than getting caffeine coffee drinks!

I was looking for a baba place in the area and come across this one and figured I should give it a try. I usually get my mango or peach green tea with boba! I asked if it's sweet and I was told not at all! It was SWEET. I wasn't happy about that. I wasn't told they charge for Credit card fee either so she told me the total and later when I looked at the receipt it was a bit more. Not happy about that either. Drink was not had except that it was on the sweeter side! Other than that it was good

    This is the menu.

This is a very trendy bubble tea place in West Hartford, in the summer at any given time you'll easily find a long line of people waiting to get their bubble tea fix. The teas are better then many other places I've tried. I like the peach and grapefruit fruit teas, they're flavorful and refreshing on a warm day. They're also very sugary, so I don't go often. They're also priced fairly, $4.00 for a small. During the Covid 19 pandemic there is no indoor seating, however generally there are a few tables and bar seating by the window. The people who work here are 16 year old high schoolers. They are quick and do their job efficiently. One is on the register and about three or four others are making teas. There is a good selection of flavors to choose from, milk or fruit tea. I have to say, the inside is messy and needs to be cleaned up, there are random computers, jackets, and notebooks laying around. It looks like the kids who work here are working on their homework between customers. For a more professional look of the shop it would be a good idea to move these items out of customer's view.

After reading the Yelp reviews and knowing I'd be in West Hartford I made a point of stopping in last week. It's a small place, 2 tables and 4 stools, very clean and modern feeling, good music, friendly service, etc. I ordered the Taro bubble tea because Taro is something I grew up with having a dad from the Caribbean. Maybe it's me but I didn't feel the Taro taste was prominent enough. I also wished it was a bit sweeter. It wasn't the best version of Taro bubble tea that I've tasted. It was a little tricky to find because while the street address is Farmington the actual front door is on Dale Street.

This place is great! Plenty of options for bubble tea and a bunch of other teas as well. When I came here I got Taro Bubble Tea of course, oh and by the way this place isn't ONLY bubble tea. But one thing I noticed is that the tapioca pearls here are slightly chewier than anywhere else I've ever had which could be good or bad, just depends on your preference. Anyways, as this place is fairly cheap, well maintained, and staff is very friendly, I'll definitely make a stop here every time I come around. Nice to see some bubble tea competition though, there's Maruichi on the other side of Blueback as well. I will be coming to both as they both offer different flavors but anyways, Tea Break is a solid place for any kind of tea! I could have swore I remember seeing some coffee options as well, can't confirm though, I'll edit my review once I find out.

Boba tea makes my world go round and round…read more King Fu Tea was founded in 2010, in Queens, NY. There are over 350 franchised stores in the U.S. Their process is, picking the most quality tea leaves, brewing it at the correct temperature, and steeping it for the right amount of time. The tea leaves are from Taiwan and it's brewed every 3 hours; the boba is cooked every 2 hours. The strawberry lemonade and orange green tea are made from freshly squeezed juices. On this visit at the WeHa location, I was walking by and had to pop in. I ordered the small milk tea with grass jelly and normal sweetness. I loved everything about the drink. They had so many flavors to choose from, I was having analysis paralysis. There were signs to download the Kung Fu Tea app for discounts. There were plenty of seating and the place looked clean. The customer service was good. I look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.

I usually opt between some sort of Matcha or green tea of sorts, but I absolutely love their Boba and nata jelly. But my absolute favorite is the milk cap - it's a must for me.. that salty sweet combo is everything. If you are a fan of that savory combo, I highly recommend you give it a try.
