There was no one waiting at Okinawa Boba, which worked out for me, since I was in a bit of a rush. I usually prefer to get the fruit tea, but here they only make milk based drinks. I think in the summer, when it's still hot out, it's much more refreshing to have a fruit tea, than a milk based tea. I got the Ichigo Ruby, this is the strawberry flavor. The other options looked pretty good too. This looked so good, the way that the milk and the strawberry sauce marked the cup. As an added bonus, the strawberry jelly was heart shaped. I really enjoyed the Ichigo Ruby drink. It was pretty sweet and very tasty. I would come here again in the future.

They offer a large assortment of teas, slushies, smoothies and more. I got the Peach Lemonade with tapioca. We also got a few of the macarons. For a place that specializes in bubble tea, this wasn't good. I got the Peach Lemonade, there was nothing peach about this tea, as far as the lemonade it had just a splash of flavor and a lot of color. The tapioca were pleasantly chewy. The macarons were like eating cardboard, very artificial. I've had better ones from Aldi and Trader Joe's. This was a very disappointing experience at Wukong Tea.

They had a few spaces for kids to play, and a bunch of plushies on the wall for people to buy.it's definitely aimed for the young ones in terms of decor and layout. If you didn't know the smell, you would call it astringent and funky. Not a good sign. Lots of sweets on the menu and the drinks lean towards sweet. They offer lots of "poppers" in a lot of different flavor options, with some inventive selections such as cheese, red bean, and water chestnut. Drinks are about 5.50 for a medium, with poppers coming in as a .50 cent add on. I opted for the red bean milk tea with red bean poppers. Cause I just wanted to try a red bean popper. Drinks came out quick and we took our pics and sips. The tea was non-existent, was a blended red bean drink with lots of red bean flavor but none of the sweetness that push it closer to a dessert item. The red bean poppers delivered on the red bean texture. Flavor was lacking compared to the drink, and was very firm. Almost like a jelly encased bean. The missus got a matcha green tea which was better executed. Lighter on the tea but sweet and creamy. It's not a space for the older folk, and I don't know how I feel about it as a hip or trendy drink spot. It's not bad, but it's not a great drink spot either. Some spaces are not to peoples preferences though, and I get that. As a traveler of sorts, I don't think there's enough to have me try them again.

I was honestly a little skeptical about trying another matcha place after my experience somewhere else, but I'm SO happy I gave this place a chance! I tried the guava matcha, lightly sweetened, and added the cheese cloud. Yes, the cheese cloud is an extra charge, but MAN... do not sleep on it! It is a MUST TRY. It added just a little sweetness with a slightly salty twist to the drink, and it somehow made the whole thing even better. You can tell it was made with love. It is likely that the man taking my order was hired either yesterday or today. He was so confused, he pointed to the menu at what I ordered and I reassured him, that's it. After a very short wait my order was ready. I was very surprised I didn't see any whisking or blending. My order was entirely wrong. Since I am non confrontational, I took the wrong order. I got the Banana Pudding. I have made this exact pudding before. It consists of vanilla pudding, vanilla wafers, condensed milk and sliced banana. Was it tasty? Yes absolutely! But I'd much rather get something that I can't make my self. The small cup was about the size of a small ice cream cup for $7. The bananas were fresh and the pudding was rich and creamy, the wafers were broken and soft. The mirrored walls were handy for making sure I'm not leaving with some sort of cream on my face. I indeed used it for this purpose. Bliss likely has something I would enjoy, I might stop by in the future sometime.

Good crunch but seems like chicken thighs were used as there was a good amount of fat in it. It quickly became kinda inedible because of how much sauce was covering the whole dish. I'm a sauce girly and love my condiments, but this was just so excessive. I asked for a box to go and maybe my fiancé will finish it later lol. I typically order a larger one. I was more impressed with my pastry, their honey pecan tart. That had a nice flaky tart shell. Very light, not the slightest bit dry. The honey provided the perfect natural sweetness, and there were plenty of whole pecans. It was a terrific alternative to your usual syrupy, heavy pecan pastry. Very tasty, and again, not too sweet. I actually did eat it as my breakfast, and i think it works very well as a breakfast item vs a dessert. The space was very bright. There was a whole other room of seating, and it was nicely decorated with a fairly modern aesthetic. Lots of plants. It definitely seemed like a great place to hang out and work or just enjoy your coffee/food there. I took mine to go this time. The staff were laid back but friendly.
