We came to the plaza for another business and decided to have a quick dinner at The Pho Bar for convenience. I had only visited once years ago for a boba tea, so this was my first time dining in. I have to say these were some of the most average dishes I've had in a while. Crab Rangoons were too crispy and had really no cream cheese in them, and while I ordered the pad see ew, they gave me yellow noodles instead. The food definitely didn't feel authentic. I don't see myself returning.
Wanting something different from my usual lunchtime fare, I stopped by the Pho Bar, just about twelve P.M., on Saturday. Surprisingly, there was only one other customer, seated with food in front of him, seemingly more interested in his phone than eating. As I would expect, my order was immediately taken by one of the quite friendly, and as it turned out, helpful, employees. Having reviewed the menu on line, I had already settled on the fried rice bowl. With shrimp as an option, that was my choice of protein; but admittedly, When it came to the noodles, I found myself reliant on the aforementioned employee; who cheerfully recommended the drunken noodles. So, drunken noodles it was. Within less than ten minutes, I had my food. In fact, it took longer for the food to cool down to a palatable temperature than it did to be served. But, it was worth the wait. The first bite revealed a savory, tangy flavor, that did not overwhelm the other ingredients. The sweet, crisp, red bell pepper slice made itself known immediately, followed by the crunch of fresh green beans and carrots. The noodles themselves were pleasantly wide, almost reminiscent of lasagna noodles. At just over fifteen bucks, before tip, all in all, this made for a great meal, at a fair price. One last thing; I did notice a sign stating that bubble tea was no longer being offered. Not that I wanted bubble tea; but, not having the option made me think what a great addition to the meal, it might have been

Service was attentive and friendly. I like the open kitchen set up and the restaurant was extremely clean. My food came out promptly and it was delicious. I have been spoiled by a place I love in Hartford and restaurants closer to me just haven't been able to hit the same taste. However, the drunken noodles here were perfect. Spicy, perfectly cooked noodles and ample veggies. I'll definitely be ordering from here more often.
TOTALLY DELICIOUS!!! Nice, clean, opened atmosphere with very friendly staff. We had the shrimp summer rolls which were fresh and quickly gone. I had the combo beef pho and it was the best pho I have had and I have had a lot of pho. My friend had the wonton and shrimp pad Thai and that too was bursting with flavor. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch, dinner or a snack.
This feels like a traditional Asian lunch spot. I love the open kitchen and the bar seating. Their menu is to the point and allows for customization for the main dishes which was nice to see. I always love trying new combos of ingredients and I appreciate the menu layout! The food was amazing! The eggrolls had the perfect crunch. The dumplings were fried to perfection. The pork drunken noodles were made with medium spice and it was one of the tastier drunken noodle dishes I have ever tasted. The phoresh bowl was made with brisket and beef broth- normally, these soups are salty, but this one wasn't which I loved! The service here was quick and friendly. I expected nothing less :) wish more places like this were near my town! Such a great, quick bite that'll leave you with leftovers to prolong the experience

The restaurant is beautifully decorated with an open kitchen concept and instagram worthy neon light back drop. Staff are super friendly and helped answer any questions we had. We ordered a lot of fried appetizers and devoured them as quickly as they came out. Shrimp in a blanket is my all time favorite and highly recommend! Everything came out quickly, hot and fresh. The Pho are build your own and you can choose your broth, proteins along with any type of noodle you are fancying. Who would have known Berlin had such great Vietnamese food and bubble teas?! Will definitely return the next time we are in the area and will not wait another year, that's for sure!
First time here and I wasn't too hungry so I didn't try any food however I did try the butterfly lemonade with lychee and it was delicious.The cashier was super nice and helped me pick out the drink,explaining the ingredients with patience.The ambiance is super casual ,I would love to come back.
There are so many Pho restaurants in the area that a newcomer like this restaurant can get lost in the flux. However, this restaurant warrants a visit for pho fans. The restaurant is located in a new strip mall conveniently off Berlin Turnpike. It has a cool, modern interior and friendly staff. The menu is pretty basic with a few options of pho, fried rice, and Thai noodle dishes which you can customize by selecting the base and proteins. I ordered the beef pho, pad see ew with vegetables, and a thai iced tea. The pho is delicious. Excellent flavor with plenty of garlic, though a little on the saltier side. Not a fan of the pad see ew. It skewed slightly more vinegary than sweet. Go for the pho!

Back to the pho bar, AMAZING AS ALWAYS!! Fresh, authentic, delicious!! Then right next door to T swirl crepe OMG WOW just WOW the crème brûlée Crêpe was ridiculous. So delicious strawberries swirl One was absolutely insane.!!!Great place to bring the family for an after dinner treat, after sporting event, or just to go for a delicious snack. Simply amazing. read more
Great portions, deep flavor, fresh ingredients. I noticed almost every table was full and also people sitting in the high top area. At that point, I figured I found a good spot. The cashier was friendly, took my order, and within a few minutes the chef was throwing the ingredients in the wok. I always like the open kitchen concept and the place was very clean. read more

This place was very hospitable and friendly. You are able to make some of the dishes on the menu your own which is pretty neat. The facility is also clean. The food was also very good. read more

All the food shown tastes amazing!! Large portions. I did a take out order because they were closing in 20 minutes online. The restaurant inside was very clean. The decor was modern and I love the photo wall. read more

The Pho Bar is a great lil hidden gem along the Berlin Turnpike. With a menu featuring a fusion of Thai, Laos, and Vietnamese, you are able to choose from a range of different flavors. I enjoy their Thai tea and wouldn't leave without having one! Crispy chicken is always fried to perfection. Prices are decent, a bit on the priced side but nothing too crazy. read more
This is the trendiest pho place I have ever been to. I felt like I was about to be in a tiktok video in LA or something. I love it. Definitely a spot that attracts the younger and pickier crowd with intentions to introduce them to the beautiful bowl of soup we know as pho. A place like this would fit well into the heart of Blueback Square in West Hartford. This is like the Pho version of "The Place To Be" restaurant in Downtown Hartford. The decor, branding, bowls, everything screams modern and trendy in the best way possible. Even their speakers had a great amount of bass to them. Places like this usually are shamed as they cannot back up their ideas of cosmetic attraction with their food and service. The Pho Bar is a standard exception as I received a high quality in both aspects. As stated on their Facebook, their mission to serve pho is heart warming and it is clear the staff is experienced and motivated. The pho itself is customizable. You can change the noodles, broth and proteins. That's exciting, mix and match a chicken pho broth with beef and shrimp. I do not know anywhere else that does this upfront without special orders. The meatballs are also made in house and they have the most perfect hint of black pepper in them. This hint of black pepper is what I believed every other pho restaurant that serves vietnamese meatballs is missing. They are usually bland and boring but these were just flavorful with excellent texture. Staying constructive but supportive, the broth was slightly on the saltier side but every ingredient was quality and it was still delicious. The pho was also extremely hot when it was served I LOVE IT. Their taro bubble tea was something out of Starbucks because it was really sweet. I'm telling you this place is boujee when the bubble tea lid had a slot for a large bubble tea straw, a smaller straw AND an extra opening in case you wanted it to just be a strawless lid. Imagine having options like that. This place brings you options everywhere. I can't wait to try their other food. This brand new plaza on the turnpike needs some life and The Pho Bar is a start. The Fresh Monkee and a nail salon is not enough to hold down an entire plaza. If I were you, I would 100% give this place a shot. I see a bright future for this brand. Their trendiness will become the standard. I swear, I look at almost every other pho place as old now. I feel horrible saying that but you'll see what I mean! read more
I recently visited Pho Bar for a Honeydew Boba Tea and Veggie "Crispy Egg Rolls". The inside was cool, modern-looking and social media friendly, with a turf wall and a giant sriracha bottle. Service was very friendly. I asked the person helping me for a Boba Tea recommendation and she exclaimed "Taro is my absolute favorite." Surprisingly, I've recently had a couple Taro flavored items from a Gbury hot spot, so I went with the Honeydew. The tea tasted like Honeydew, which is a good start, and was a lovely shade of pale green. It was creamy, mildly sweet and bottom-filled with Boba. Every once in a while I see a Boba Tea review that says "That was great Boba" or "That wasn't real Boba." Unfortunately, I don't have that level knowledge, but it seemed right on. The four thin egg rolls had a great crispy outer shell and were filled with thin strips of vegetables and clear noodles. The vegetable flavor was a bit unexpected in a way I can't explain, but not in a bad way. The dipping sauce was sweet and tart. The crispy rolls were definitely fun to bite into. I have a good first impression of Pho Bar and will look them up for Pho in cooler times. Four Stars. read more

Food was very amazing, absolutely loved the Pho. The homemade meatballs were so delicious! I loved the atmosphere and hospitality. Only suggestion is, I really wish they had a alternative fryer for fried foods for customers with Shellfish allergies. I let the nice gal Jessie know I had a shellfish allergy and she informed me that they fry all fried foods together including the fried shrimp roll. Other than that, super amazing place!! read more

Sooooo, this place...yeahh, definitely my new FAVORITE! I even told my server the same thing this last time I went. The first time I went on a solo date and had the shrimp pho (with chicken broth) and fresh summer rolls. DELICIOUS! So much so that I decided to go back and bring my hubs this time. I tried the crispy chicken drunken noodle. Let me tell you, I literally commented after every bite! From the juicy, perfectly fried chicken breast served piping hot over a bed of drunken goodness loaded with veggies, this place has got it going on! Not to mention the service was friendly and quick. The menu prices are fair and the ambience is very aesthetically pleasing! Do yourself a favor...stop in, they will become your new favorite too! read more
Small cute little business. All brand new building and very clean. I brought my daughter and her cousin. It was his first time trying boba. The staff was very friendly and explained the flavors of the teas to him and even let them sample the tapioca pearls and lychee because they were indecisive about what flavor to add to the tea. My daughter tried the Taro milk tea with tapioca pearls. It was a pretty purple color and she said she enjoyed it. The walls were covered with faux grass and I thought it was pretty cool. It was a nice and quiet chill place. Next time I'll come back to try the pho. read more

I was on the turnpike and stopped in to grab some quick lunch before heading home. The guy at the counter was pretty helpful and did a great job explaining the menu. I got the beef stir fry noodles. It was great, everything expect the green beans that could've been cooked a little longer (not a deal breaker). I definitely plan on stopping in again soon. read more
I had to return just for some delicious Taro Boba iced tea, so good, the Pho is amazing as well but the tea is the best I've had. And we visited a pretty authentic place in the casino once, as well as in NYC. The restaurant is super clean & cute inside and I've tried the Pho before which is great, but I would make some modifications next time like asking for no cilantro in my bowl. read more
I did a Yelp review looking for some Pho near me. We were not disappointed with Pho Bar. Staff was so friendly! Music was great! The food tastes so clean and we were pretty satisfied with some leftover to bring home. I ordered crispy egg rolls and fried dumplings . So good!! I also got the Pad See Ew noodles with chicken and veggies with egg. My hubby got the crispy chicken with Drunken Noodles and a side of Jasmine rice. We both are very happy and will be back. So tired of eating the same take out, this was fantastic! Can't wait to come back and we haven't left yet!! read more

Taro. Thai Iced Coffee. Thai Iced Tea. Honeydew. Strawberry. Butterfly Tea. Milk Tea. Lemonade. Matcha. So many boba's to try! I went with the Taro for my first visit and it was delicious. Sweet and nutty. Just right. Love the really awesome decor in The Pho Bar too! I'm totally ready to get pho'd up next time. I can't wait to try their food next. They are located in a really great plaza on the Berlin Turnpike. Easy parking. Definitely on my list for my next pho craving. I will also be back for the Honeydew Boba next! read more

Had lunch here with a girl friend of mine and everything was delicious! As a Vietnamese American the cuisine and atmosphere was phenomenal. The food arrived very quickly and the space was so fresh, clean, and modern. I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite of authentic Vietnamese cuisine if you're on the Berlin Turnpike. read more
