Went to Nolis tonight for dinner. It was excellent! Linda, our server, was delightful. The food was excellent. Highly recommend.

Noli Noli Noli, what will I do if someday I move away for good? Over the past 20 odd years I've had chicken Marsala at other restaurants and they've never been able to compare to yours. I'm so glad the quality of this meal has always remained consistent since I first ordered here. Y'all are the best, and I thank you for that.

Plates the big enough to feed half the town!!!! Sooo amazing, i had the chicken piccatta! It really was amazing, all entres come with salad and pasta! Recently added full bar! WOOT!!!!! Great dessert is the flute lemoncelllo! You get to keep the flute!!! How fab! Great place for lunch and dinner great! The reason why im taking away a star is because they had the doors open and i was freezing, and when i asked for our waitress to close them, she did for 30 seconds and opened them again, thanks a bunch :/

Shrimp scampi with linguini, absolutely delicious!

A friend and I just had a wonderful lunch at Noli's restaurant on their patio deck. It was absolutely positively delicious! I had shrimp scampi with linguini, and it had a ton of large shrimp, and I brought the other half home for supper. But knowing it was there, it didn't make it to supper time! THAT'S how good it was. Pasta was perfectly al dente also. My friend had lobster ravioli and she's writing her own wonderful review.

Today's special: Pan seared scallops, grilled shrimp and salmon, risotto. Superb!

Terrible pizza, cardboard crust and curdled cheese. Terrible customer service, never on time and very rude. Avoid this place.

The exterior of this restaurant belies the wonderfully designed and decorated venue found within. Brothers Sonny and Harry have been operating this restaurant for more than 25 years, and are obviously dedicated to it's continued success. We sat at the bar - a beautiful formal presentation with a comfortable library-like feel. Our server/bartender Tracy was attentive and informative. The menu is filled with classic Italian dishes, and the descriptions tease the palate that is looking for quality. Our meal began with homemade bread and a homemade salsa for dipping that was unique and fantastic! I had the Chicken Saltimbocca with a rich, brown gravy, that was presented beautifully and served hot. The wife had Chicken Artichoke special, also presented beautifully and also very flavorful. The highlight of our experience was when we split the Limoncello Marscapone Cake, very unique and incredibly good. I will return just for this dessert. The food was fantastic, vthe service was great, and the atmosphere is beautiful! Don't let the exterior of the building affect your decision to eat here - you won't be disappointed! Also, a great date place to impress your current flame.

If comfort had an address, it would be Mario's. We always kick things off with a small pizza for the table, because that's the law here. The bread and tomato relish? Should be sold by the gallon. I would pay an irresponsible amount of money for it. If you know, you know. Last night's table lineup was elite: * One of us ordered the veal Neapolitan -- fresh, tender veal in a vodka sauce so good it should have its own fan club. * Another went for the penne alla vodka with shrimp and scallop, which was hands‑down the best dish of the night. The seafood takes an already top‑tier vodka sauce and somehow makes it even better. As a Jersey boy, I don't say that lightly. * I decided to go rogue and step outside my usual penne vodka or steak. I wanted veal parm. I've never had anything fried here besides the calamari (which is amazing), so I figured: why not? Here's the plot twist: The veal parm was the only dish I've ever had at Mario's that didn't hit the usual Mario's standard. The veal itself was totally different from the fresh, delicious cut in the Neapolitan, and the breading had a little... funk. Almost like it had been prepped ahead and picked up a freezer‑burn vibe. Not bad -- just not Mario's‑level magical. But here's the thing: One imperfect dish doesn't change the fact that Mario's is one of our all‑time favorite restaurants. The atmosphere, the people, the consistency, the warmth -- it's all unbeatable. We love this place and will absolutely be back, probably embarrassingly soon. Mario's is home. Even when one dish misses, the experience never does.

I've been wkly delivery customer (due to physical disability) for past 5 yrs, and love the staff (owner Ashaad, mgr Lanay, asst mgr Stephanie, Taylor, Laura:)), & love the food:)) They mainly use Slice for deliveries, which contracts out to DoorDash or Uber for drivers (restaurants can choose which one, or use their own drivers, while still using Slice). Sophia's chose DoorDash for 1st few yrs (which had their own occasional issues), & now has switched to Uber (which has far too many issues). You watch your order on GPS Driver Tracker (on Slice app) and see they're literally driving 10 mi in opp direction from you (I'm 2mi from Sophias) delivering multiple orders (& taking an hr to get your finished order to you). Sophia's (owner Ashaad), PLEASE change back to DoorDash drivers (thru Slice), or update your DoorDash menu link - currently I can't order via DoorDash directly because their menu (1) doesn't list salads w/o dressing, & (2) can't leave special instructions, both of which Slice (along w/ GrubHub) allow. Hope to keep eating your wonderful food, but this delivery mess needs to be straightened out asap. Thx. Greg B.

EXPERIENCE; What did come as a surprise to me was the popularity of this rural tavern on a fall Friday evening and the quality of food and service experienced. Jason P. had reported excellent fish and chips, noteworthy wings, and selection of local beers at the tavern in his review. I ordered the fish and chips alongside the server's suggested Norbrook Farm-brewed Mount Pisgah IPA. The fish and chips dish ($20) was as Jason had described -- "TOP TIER". I look forward to exploring the menu further (although it will be hard to pull me away from the fish and chips). Kudos to the tavern's Head Chef Austin Ouelette and his crew! AMBIANCE: There are three dining areas -- an outdoor patio, a newly renovated, modern dining room, and the original dining room filled with colonial-inspired furniture. TIP: Parking lot size was insufficient the Friday evening I visited, necessitating parking on the shoulder of State Route 20 . This possibility may be circumvented via a visit on an earlier weekday. The tavern is open to visitors and inn guests Wednesday through Sunday.

Their menu has a lot of different options to please everyone in your party. They've got the typical go-to's (burgers, sandwiches, pizza) but then you get into some house made comforts like chicken pot pie and bacon wrapped meatloaf. The service is great, but since it's a pretty small place the waitresses might be pretty busy so just be patient. With that said, seating is fairly limited on a busy Friday/Saturday night or if they are having a special for dinner, so definitely make reservations! We came for late lunch on Saturday and it was fairly quiet. Needless to say, since it's off the beaten path we sometimes forget this gem is here but when we remember we never regret it!

In fact, it was common in the 80's and 90's to see multiple generations working to provide their customers the best... I had that experience yesterday. Upon walking into the spotless dining room, I saw Nonna/Mom/Great Aunt in the first booth looking over the operation while the next generation was busy in the kitchen - and working in concert with the youngest family member who was working the floor. Fantastic. So friendly, so heartwarming. I also watched as "regulars" came in for their dinner. They ALL stopped by the kitchen entry to say hello to all employees and each employee greeted them by name. I hope to one day achieve this status. The food was good. I had a side salad, fried calamari, and a small pizza (half plain, half pepperoni and ricotta). Everything was fresh, tasty, and really well cooked. I was very happy to be a part of a dinner service there. I am looking forward to trying an entree - I have a craving for veal... maybe later this week. My only knock on my experience is that their sauce is very simple, and, in my opinion, lacks a little tang to stand up to the pizza cheese and toppings. But the crust was almost clinically perfect. My half pepperoni and ricotta side was slightly floppy in the middle - but I have to take responsibility for that as it was a tough order. Each half of my pizza cooks much differently. The plain cheese side was perfect. I can't wait to go back.
