The fish was good but rather plain- it certainly didn't look like it was crusted with macadamia nuts to me- just looked like a grilled halibut. Wife's seafood pasta was tasty. Overall, I felt expensive for what we got and also the fact that I was expecting a more upscale atmosphere.

Fortunately, the total was about the same as what our steak dinner would have cost, so I didn't realize there was a mistake until I got home. That's when things got a little frustrating. I tried calling the restaurant several times to correct the error, but no one ever picked up. By late morning the next day, I finally got through, and a woman told me the manager would call me at noon to help sort things out. Unfortunately, noon came and went, and I never heard from him. I'm curious whether my message actually got through and whether the manager will eventually call me. Fortunately, I'm local, so I'll stop by the restaurant on my evening walk and take care of it in person. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner and would happily go back--but if you need to reach them, don't rely on the phone!

I paid for our bakery items and asked an older woman scrolling on her phone if we could have a bag for all of our boxed treats. She grabbed a handful of bags and threw them at me from across the counter. We were appalled and left. We found a place to sit on State street to eat our treats and my daughter said she didn't want her Meringue because the dirty blonde girl used the back of her ungloved hand to repeatedly wipe her nose. We threw all $50 worth of baked goods in the trash. Yes, I should have gone back and complained I'm had everything refunded but it was Mother's Day and we didn't want anything more to do with this establishment. The general manager immediately stopped what she was doing, gathered her employees, and actually came out to help us search the sand. Thankfully, a patron had found the ring and turned it in to the restaurant, so WE GOT IT BACK!! I was so excited I didn't even catch the manager's name--I just hugged her! All the waiters and waitresses started clapping and celebrating with us. It was such a sweet moment. The integrity of everyone here deserves recognition. Someone easily could have pocketed an engagement ring, but instead they made sure it got back to its owner and genuinely cared about helping us find it. And while I was searching, I have to say...the food and drinks coming out looked delicious! After this experience, I would absolutely come back to actually eat here.
