Have been eyeing Nissi Banh ever since they put their sign up in King Plaza. They sell mostly banh mi, Vietnamese juices, and other assortments of Vietnamese foods. I ended up ordering the cold cut banh mi and the grilled pork banh mi. Both were satisfying to eat, but I think the grilled pork was much better than their cold cut. Not my favourite bread for banh mi though, but I'm very specific about that part so it's "to-each-their-own" on that basis. There are other places I prefer for banh mi, but Nissi Banh is always a valid option when you're in the area. I always love to see more Vietnamese-owned businesses sprout up in the neighbourhood, and this place is welcomed in my books

Easily one of my favorite Bánh Mi place moving forward. Meat portion is plentiful and all delicious at the same time. Their Vietnamese coffee is handmade per order and they shake it in a shaker fresh which made it extra delicious. Got 3 sandwiches, 2 Vietnamese coffees and 2 other side dishes and they were all amazing. Service was good and there was one table to sit down and eat there. It's a small space but they use it well.

We came across this place by chance while using the bank near the metro station. They open early and were cooking up a storm so luck for us the food was hot and fresh. We grabbed several items to eat including spring rolls and banh mi sandwich. Friendly mother and daughter working early in the morning.

This is the best banh mi in Seattle and I really don't think it's close. The second I tried it, and I tried the coffee I think I saw colors I've never seen before. The second time I went, I truly spoke to the owners, who are some of the kindest, most genuine people I've met. As a vegetarian, the tofu bahn mi blows my mind it's so rich and balanced, the Vietnamese coffee also expanded my life and I have never been the same since. I can't recommend enough.

I have finally found my favorite banh mi sandwich. Since the untimely demise of Huong Xua in White Center, I have been on a quest for a suitable replacement chicken banh mi, this is it.

Nissi Banh is a Vietnamese deli, which is a staple of many Vietnamese communities. There are a lot of freshly made take-out and pantry items to choose from, and the staff is always nice. I would recommend these options: * bánh giò (banana leaf wrapped steam rice cake with ground pork) - The rice cake and pork are moist and tasty. * nem nướng (pork meatball skewers) were really good and the flavor is just like the ones I ate growing up * bánh ít trần (mung bean sticky rice dumplings): soo good with nice amount of filling The bánh cuốn (rice rolls with ground pork) were okay, but from my experience, it's harder to maintain freshness for this unless you go to a sit-down restaurant that serves it as soon as it's made. I haven't tried the bánh mì or drinks here, which seem to be the most popular options here, but will hopefully be back to try them.

I like their banh mi. They stuff their sandwiches fully. Cold cut is my favorite, shown in pic. Their grilled pork is my second favorite and has good lemon grass taste. Workers are nice.

Such a great hidden gem- so make sure to keep an eye out! We've ordered deli items here, catering, drinks, and I can't recommend Nissi Banh enough! Everything is top notch quality, on time and delicious. The price is extremely reasonable, you really get a big bang for your buck. We live 30+ mins away but will travel and order here for all our events and cravings. They are very clean too which makes you feel better when eating the food. You can see into the kitchen and it is well kept and organized. I highly recommend Nissi Banh, 5/5 stars!

Some sort of shrimp toast - 2 different kinds, both fantastic.

I loved this little place! The banh mi was great and the cafe sua da was delish!! The ladies working there were so nice to me - we chatted a lot and they were surprised I knew how to say "cafe sua da!" I can't wait to go back and try more.

My cocktail was a pho broth washed shot of Jameson and it came with a pho broth chaser. Hope I got that right but I almost don't wanna drink Jameson any other way now. It looked packed but I think a lot of people were at the larger pho Bac sup shop (which is associated w The Boat, but The Boat had plenty of seating at 6:30 on a Sunday night. I think what I appreciated most was the service- we had a person who seated us and answered questions about the menu- my partner has some preferences and shared them with the first server but then the second server came by and already knew what my partner had shared with the first server. The place is right next to their sister location, Pho bar, and share a parking space. It is nice and clean on the inside, and like the name the restaurant is shape like a boat! So far I have been here twice and would definitely come back for a warm meal. The staff were helpful and pleasant! It's a bit pricey for the portions, but overall we enjoyed our meal and I really liked trying dishes beyond the typical spring roll/pho/rice place. Wish there was more protein. It's located in a bit of a sketchy mall, but it's one of the nicer restaurants located within the mall. The food took a longer than we were expecting, service was a bit more short, but overall it's a nicer sit-down Vietnamese restaurant in the area!

We ended up choosing a place close and were not disappointed at all. This restaurant is located off a busy street but it luckily offers a parking lot which can be hard to come by in Seattle. Because we came on the earlier side, we were seated quite quickly :) The space is pretty large so I don't think I would worry about a wait on a weekday. We were very impressed by the options provided. I usually don't find Bun Bo Hue on the menu often which is what my partner ended up ordering. I ordered the Bun rieu which is even harder to come by. We also ordered the crispy butter garlic wings to share which was a perfect choice. The service was very fast and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our stuff came out after placing our order. The portions were also HUGE and we both had enough to take home for a second meal. The Bun rieu was super tomatoey and had a rich flavor which the crab. My mom makes Bun rieu at home and I was very much happy with this bowl too, reminded me a lot of how my mom makes it! The Bun Bo Hue was not super spicy but we appreciated being able to customize. The custard duck egg is an excellent starter, with a rich, savory broth that delivers a deep, yolky umami punch. The rau ram oil and herb is such a creative twist that adds the perfect herbal dimension. The radicchio pudding was light and offered a clean, almost grassy brightness without being overwhelming in flavors. Great option for any vegans at the table. The wagyu beef tallow fries were some of the best fries I've ever had. Ultra-crispy, perfectly thick-cut, and deeply flavorful with beef notes shining through, without being too heavy. Like many of the dishes here, perfectly balanced in flavor. The grilled eggplant with whipped tofu and crispy sun chokes was another standout. The tofu whip was so smooth and should be considered a worthy sub for mayo. The eggplant was soft, creamy, and perfectly charred. The garlic rice was incredibly savory and maybe my favorite version of it yet. Packed with the perfect depth of garlicky flavor and seasoning. Finally for dessert - I thought the durian fruit cup was decent, it's great for durian lovers but next time I will be back to try their other desserts. The hollow bread is a must-try. It's fried to perfection, the inside is steamy and the butter it comes with is perfect but the bread alone is so good that it doesn't need it. The perfect touch of roasted sesame. Slightly sweet, it's a delight in textures and perfect in cold weather. The oyster on half shell in happy hour is also a great standard oyster, very fresh, with a nuanced Viet twist in the sauces. Vegetable dip is pretty standard and also delicious, great if you're looking for a healthy starter. Coffee rubbed ribs were fantastic as well and an incredible deal for the size. Easy to eat and flavorful on its own but dipping it with Chinsu added spice and more flavor. Bot Chien had a crisp to it and egg was cooked well. You have to dip it in the fish sauce or else there is no flavor. Just something minor but I wish the pickled veggies were more separated. It had the cut lines but not fully cut so you had to separate it yourself. The com tam was alright. All of the components you would usually get for a broken rice dish. The meatloaf was really good. The pork on the other hand was a bit too salty for my liking. And you only get one thin piece... soup on the side was good and was a good way to cleanse the palette. Overall good modern/fancy spin on Vietnamese food but overpriced. Would probably be nice to go during dinner time for some drinks as the ambience seemed better for night time. Good amount of seating. Street parking around the area was easy to find.
