We moved the entire house with Ninja movers and they did a really great job! I checked a few companies and they all had preposterous prices and long time for making the move (one of them never returned a call...). Ninja, on the other hand were always available on the phone and provided a reasonable price. Moreover, they were very attentive and patient answering all the questions we had (I had lots...). Asher provided excellent tips to help make this move efficient and quick (we have little ones so we needed to have enough time to set the new house, at least to be ready to sleep in). Signed up with Ninja Movers for my move from Santa Clara to San Jose. We expected 3 guys but 2 guys came so they reduced the rate to $120/hr. The 2 guys who came - Daniel and Steven were pretty great in terms of speed and communication and we finished everything in 5 hours for a 1 BHK. Movers were high and rude when called out on it! Me and the boss got into a shouting match because he said I should not be watching his men and he will abandon the move and take my money. The company still took the 3 hr min payment and offered to wave anything after that if i signed a liability release form. Given that the mover had threatened me and now knew where I lived, I did not and the company did nothing else about the situation. read more

I just want to express my utmost gratitude to Edgar, Mauricio, Alan and Gerardo for moving our three bedroom furniture, boxes and EVERYTHING to our new four bedroom home. I hired Ninja Movers almost 2 years ago while my friends and I were moving houses in college. I was trying to find a moving service that was reasonably priced and provided good service and they exceeded our expectations. When I called the office, I explained that as college students our budget is tight and they willingly negotiated a lower price. This was the second time in a year I called Ninja movers and they came through again. I was glad to see that two of the three guys that helped me a year ago came again (Joseph and Dion). They were joined by Edgar. All three of these gents were professional, courteous, and efficient. AWFUL. WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Scheduling - Confusing, they take the credit card deposit only to call back and say the date has been taken.. why send me a confirmation then? Only to have us try and rearrange our schedule and then call us back and say the original date works again. Despite better judgement we decided to move forward with them. Claimed over and over they would only need three hours to move us... took close to 6 hours. The truck was WAY to big for our stuff, they had to block part of the street in front of the complex, which didn't make the management too happy. The cherry on top was that they ended up cracking and destroying one of our tvs, of course it had to be biggest TV too... Needless to say.. save yourself the stress, money, grey hairs... use a different company. read more

DO NOT USE OR TRUST THESE MOVERS I used Ninja Movers this past weekend for a move out of my 1 bedroom apartment from Walnut Creek to San Francisco. When booking my move Jay confirmed all of my furniture would be wrapped and protected at no cost. Come moving day the movers show up and tell me it is going to cost $50 for each item I need wrapped. A couch, 5 tables, a chair etc. you can see how it quickly would add up. At this point I feel extremely deceived. They then tell me they will wrap all of it for free if I write a 5 star review on Yelp. Anyways they begin with the move and what should be a quick pack up ends up taking 3+ hours. I actually caught the movers hanging out at the truck for half an hour playing on their phone while I am paying them $180 an hour. Fast forward to unpacking they inform me that they broke my lamp. After this they wrap up and leave. Upon inspection of my items I notice many issues. When disassembling my tables they stripped out the screws so now the table top is permanently loose and can never come apart. This is just one example of many. Since moving day I have been attempting to work with their team to file a claim to have my lamp replaced. I have now emailed twice and called twice with no response. Please do not be duped into using them by seeing the 5 star rating. It is very misleading and only a high rating due to their shady business practices. read more

The team of Edgar, Gerardo and Joseph were super professional, courteous and friendly with our move yesterday - Oct 07th. We were moving from a unit on second floor to second floor; we have 4 large boxes full of books, 3 large boxes of DVDs (translates to 100+ pounds boxes each) which they moved without any complaints. They suggested that we put them in to smaller boxes when we move next time. They were really hard working and finished the move in 4.5 hours; helped carry our TVs without damaging them, took care of heavy furniture, disassembled and assembled our Cal King bed perfectly. When I handed the leader the tip, he silently put the entire wad of tip in his pocket rather than counting it in front of me (they did not even ask for tip actually, unlike our previous experiences where other movers nagged, complained and protested). We had a very simple move of literally 15 houses up the same street but wow Ninja Movers were a total nightmare to deal with. Here are some notes I took during the move: * The crew arrived late, "7-9am window", they showed at 9:30 a.m.​ * The head of the 4 person crew began demanding a tip before the job even started. * The company got no permits to park on the street- this is usually key for San Francisco. * The crew was yelling at each other and cursing both in English and Spanish throughout the job (yes I speak both)... * The crew absolutely reeked of cigarettes. * They were constantly commenting on all the "cool stuff" we had in our house. Now I'm worried about them coming back to steal stuff someday. * They were asking if we were upsizing or downsizing... um please mind your own business. * The crew also spent a ​lot of time taking calls from the ​office about their next job and the general schedule. When you're paying $175 an hour you would expect a crew to be fully focused on the current job. * Doing obvious stuff to just run up their time like fully disassembling furniture that didn't need to be- i.e. small portable tables and taking the truck around the block several times when the houses were literally 100 yards apart. * They used the toilet without asking or flushing= gross Worst of all they were careless enough to cause damages. Specifically,​ they dug some deep gashes into the wood floor of the master bedroom I guess by dragging our bed out instead of lifting the frame and mattress separately. I ended up having to pay $1400 to fix the floor they damaged, which eclipsed the cost of the move itself. Bottom line, I've moved several times in SF before with far more courteous and careful movers which I made the big mistake of not just calling again this time. Avoid Ninja Movers. read more

But they are very inconsiderate of time. They came an hour late from the Max time slot I was allotted and then also misplaced the screws for my couch. They came to repair the couch the couch but I had to make out specific time from everyday work. We moved on Saturday and were hoping that everything would be solved over the weekend and in considerate time. But with them I just spent time at home doing nothing and waiting for them. I decided to go with them because of all positive reviews on yelp, but I did not have as good experience as others did. Extremely bad service !! I used their service to go from Santa Clara California to Redmond Washington . Rude staff , the boys who vine yo pick up are absolutely mannerless and the ones who deliver - actually don't deliver and threaten you on the contrary!! Half the things are missing with Ninja Movers and no matter how much you follow up... they don't provide any insurance amount ... which is signed as .60 per pound of stuff that's lost but cheaters don't have the intention to give back !! The stuff is transported ( comes after many days than date committed) and that too broken and lost in the transit . Amount is given what they ask for $3200 - it's a big amount - but no compensation for stuff lost and broken, wouldn't recommend Ninja Movers At all . read more

We have just moved from San Jose CA to Oregon. Once I knew we're about to move, I went online searching for a moving company. I didn't know what I should be looking for, so first I've searched tips for a long distance move, once I got the information (it should be a registered company, it mentioned the way the price should be calculated etc.), I have start looking for a reliable moving company. I called Ninja Movers, Assi the owner explained some of what I needed to hear, and then highly recommended for me to ask for other moving companies quote. I got altogether 5 offers, from 5 different companies. At the end we have chosen to work with Ninja Movers - despite the fact that they were not the cheapest offer. The Manager Assi, was there for me at all times, he walked me through the process and was right there whenever I called. "Moving is a huge emotional and not an easy thing to do, especially when there are children involved" those were Assi's words, and indeed he was spot on. On the day of the move, Assi himself came and monitored the initiation of the process; although I must say that the 3 movers crew led by Israel (Izzy) were AMAZING. They are fearless, their work ethic is remarkable, and yet the gentleness of the way they were handling my household was admirable. Once everything was on the truck, Mr. Tal Cohen took care of the cargo and brought it all the way to the new state. Here he got a local once again, 3 movers crew that worked professionally under Tal's personal supervision, who kept passing the boxes and delegate them to the right spot in the house, once everything was unloaded, they have reassembled all the furniture so now everything was back to normal. All in all, as a family we had an excellent experience with Ninja Movers. From start to finish Assi was doing it with us, and was alert for all our family needs.
