I'm disappointed in the service from Everlasting moving. I was quoted 5 hours for a 2 bed move. However, the move took almost 8 hours (everything was packed before the movers arrived so they weren't packing anything). I have moved the same amount of stuff with another company and it took about 5 hours 2 years ago so I'm not sure why Everlasting took so long. The 2 men that helped me move seemed to move slowly with packing and walking the boxes to the truck. After I paid in cash (the hourly rate, truck fee, and $10 per person per hour tip they "suggest" but is really mandatory), the mover did try to ask for an additional tip. it was very off-putting and there was a language barrier but the mover I was speaking with was insisting I owed $400 more for tip until I threatened to call the manager and he backed off and left quickly. They did take good care of my belongings, nothing was damaged or broken. But overall, they were slow and asking for another tip came off as rude. read more

What I love the most about this company is that they are fast. I also don't have much stuff either since I moved from the OC, but I really appreciate how quickly they were working and didn't purposely drag out time, which I think we as customers truly appreciate. 2 guys came to help with my move, they wrapped up everything safely, disassembled my bed frame, assembled it at the new home. They were fairly quick, but not always super careful with the furniture. They also put one of my boxes on its side (which was fine for this box, but what if it was dishes or something?). But I was only moving my big stuff and it was the only place I got a quote from that had a 2 hour minimum and it was the cheapest option. So all things considered, worth it for me. But if you're looking to move things that are very valuable or delicate, I would probably look elsewhere. read more

Everlasting moving were very professional and hard-working. The only downside was that they didn't speak English. So trying to tell them where things were to go, was sometimes frustrating. But they did a really great job. They also broke a huge potted plant, but took off $500 off our bill. They acknowledge their mistake and owned it. My experience was the opposite of many of the less positive reviews. Planning and scheduling were stellar. Jason answered all of my questions prior to the move and during the move. Their pricing is competitive and more affordable than all of the places I consulted for a mid-distance move. Lee and Yu arrived just as scheduled at 8:30am. They got right to moving, I was blown away by how quickly they mobilized because my old place has a small elevator and not the easiest to maneuver, especially considering I lived on the 3rd floor. Yes, there was expected traffic between destinations, but the unloading at the new destination was just as efficient despite a very long day of moving. The final cost was lower than I expected and there were no surprises from what I was quoted initially. Please tip these guys well - I tipped more than the recommended hourly tip rate. They work hard, carefully, and efficiently. I am recommending them 10/10 to my friends and to the Yelp community. read more

We were moving out and needed to send some boxes/items to another city for storage (~3.5hrs drive away). Everlasting Moving gave us a flat rate and it was the most reasonable pricing given the small size of our move - other movers were quoting us long distance and charge by mileage which brought the quote to 2x or 3x the price. Very happy we hired them, they sent a small truck and our mover was very efficient, he loaded everything in less than 30min and all our items arrived safely. Terrible experience -- I do NOT recommend Everlasting Moving. I first used Everlasting Moving in October 2024 to move from my 1 bedroom apartment in the Mission to another 1 bedroom apartment in SOMA. I had a positive experience and decided to use them again to move this year. HUGE mistake. First, I was told a crew would arrive at around 8:30am, but the crew didn't show up until almost 9:30am, providing no prior communication about their late arrival. (I soon realized why). When the two workers finally arrived, reeking of cigarette smoke, they worked so painfully slowly that I had to ask them why things were taking so long (it was almost like they were moving in slow motion). But neither of the workers spoke any English so I needed to call their boss whenever I needed to communicate with them. He would then call the workers. After the first call, they noticeably picked up their pace, but I shouldn't have had to make that call in the first place. Then came the issue of boxes. Everlasting Moving indicated that they would provide a wardrobe box, but the workers showed up without one and seemed baffled what to do without one. Everlasting Moving also indicated that they would provide complementary blankets and furniture wrappings, but rather than use these to protect my TV, they cut up the remaining cardboard boxes to use instead. This left them no boxes for the kitchen glassware which was haphazardly and inadequately wrapped with serán wrap instead. Overall this fiasco took almost 5 hours, which was CONSIDERABLY longer than the 3 hours it took them to move me to the apartment the previous year. Moreover, we were only moving to a storage unit at the end of the block... To add insult to injury, when the move was finally over, the crew, despite their nonexistent English, tried arguing about the small tip I provided. It is extremely unprofessional to argue with a customer over a tip and absolutely insane to try to do so across a language barrier. Our personal belongings are so intimate.. do yourself a favor and find a moving company that demonstrates more professionalism, competence, and respect for you, your time, your money, and your possessions. read more

We just moved do a different apartment in the same building and they were very accommodating to a last minute time change and were extremely efficient. The price was right too! Great service. Got to pick up location on time! Communication was a little difficult because of language issues, but the two guys were super professional and capable. 6 hours to load our 20+ mostly large UHaul moving boxes, some quite heavy, and furniture from our packed 2 br/1 bth apartment. Then a 2 hour drive to our location. Unload, put together the beds and other furnitures and done. 11 hours total. Pricing was the best out of 7 that I looked at. Didn't break anything and always had a smile when they had time to look and breath a bit. I recommend these guys 100%! read more

Tl;dr Reliable, no nonsense movers who operate at a good pace and charge fair prices I've used Everlasting Moving twice now, for a 2nd story apartment move in 2021 and one move to a single story home in 2025. Asking for rates and booking was easy both times and done via email after submitting a quote request via Yelp. Both times, it was clear that the movers knew how to wrap, stack, and move efficiently and effectively even when we hadn't yet finished packing 100%. They offered the tall blue boxes where they stuffed whatever loose items would fit in an organized and protected manner. The one thing I noticed both times is that usually the movers may not speak English well. The first time, movers spoke Mandarin so I used Google Translate and showed them my phone whenever I wanted to mention something specific. The second time, one mover spoke English well but I'm not sure what language the other one spoke, and it seemed that they could not even talk to each other fluently. Despite this communication barrier, the two movers still worked together efficiently. I will continue to use and recommend Everlasting Moving! read more

We had a great experience using this moving company. They showed up on-time and I appreciated them showing me the start time on the contract for when they began working. We had two movers and they were super efficient at packing our things into the truck. Also put out a rug for the moving they did over carpet/stairs. Everything was handled with care.
