i'd stay away from this moving company. here are some issues i have with the move: 1. nothing written on boxes. not contents or even which room it goes into. spoke no english, which is not an issue if the movers would write on the box in their native language; then i could use google translate to figure out which box goes into which room. still looking for my small business office supplies. not to mention other items i need. 2. they pack random items into huge wardrobe boxes without hanging anything and just dump it inside. the flour container was packed with closet items with then flour dumped all over. clothes that should have been properly hung were just thrown into boxes. its not pretty! 3. heavy items were placed on top of glass plates and a crystal bowl. yes... thats right! luckily, nothing was broken but i truly don't know how! 4. only 85 % was moved. the rest was left for us to do but after seeing the way these guys worked - we decided to do it ourselves since the kitchen was left. plus the movers were not interested in coming back to finish the rest as it was past 5:30 pm. 5. linen was tossed on top of a box and plastic wrapped on top. i thought it was a joke but no, that's how they rolled. 6. worst move we've ever had and it was a hot mess during the move and even more after the move. very stressful! read more

Called two weeks ahead to book a slot for a Saturday morning to move from an upstairs one bedroom apartment to a three story townhome. Was quoted $110/hr and estimated 2 hrs. Movers arrived on the dot at 8:30am and immediately started loading the truck. The things I didn't pack they wrapped up and combined with other items. I would suggest grouping items ahead of time i.e all living room boxes in one place, all bedroom boxes in another. This is because they wrap a bunch of boxes together; this way they don't have to separate everything when unloading at the new place and you don't have to point to each individual box and tell them where they go. They finished everything in 1.5 hours. My only complaint is that they filled my entire recycle bin with the plastic wrap instead of taking it with them. read more

I was not told in advance that Everlasting Move LLC would be handling my move. They were subcontracted through another company (Happy House Movers) without my knowledge or approval. The movers who arrived were polite, but the entire job -- a single 10x15 storage unit with boxes and a few furniture pieces -- took 5 full hours, even though other companies had quoted approximately 3 hours for the same work. They also got lost on the way to the second location, which I ended up having to pay for. They also broke a few boxes. There were no stairs, no fragile items, and nothing particularly difficult to move -- just standard boxes and a short 17-mile drive. Everything was already packed. I was charged $650, which felt excessive for the work performed. I had also informed Happy House Movers that I had a commitment at noon, yet the move wasn't completed until after 1:30 PM. The movers refused to use the dollies provided by the storage facility (which could hold 10+ boxes), because it would require lifting. Instead, they used their own lifter, moving only about 5 boxes at a time, which slowed the process considerably. Initially, they recorded 4.5 hours on the paperwork, which I paid and signed off on. After I left, they called me to return and began nitpicking the timeline -- asking me to pay for additional driving time, including the time they spent getting lost, which had already caused me stress earlier in the day when I wasn't sure if they'd show up. When I raised concerns, I was bounced between the moving company and the one that outsourced them -- with no accountability or resolution from either side. The owner of this company never responded and effectively ghosted me. While the movers themselves were courteous, I would not use this company again. The pace was inefficient, communication was lacking, and the experience as a whole left me disappointed. read more

The movers showed up on time, very quickly got to work, were friendly and polite. They cleared my 900 sqft, one bed, one office, apartment swiftly, packing many of my items themselves. In total it took about 3 hours to pack, and 2 hours to drive + unpack. I've rated them 4 stars, because while they were very quick, this came at the cost of 3 pieces of furniture that ended up with scratches, dings, and in the case of my sofa, broken feet. I can fix / live with these issues. My fragile items (glasses, plates, etc) all seemed to make it unharmed. Additionally, clothes, and other misc items were just crammed into moving boxes, once unpacking I found two of my suits squished at the bottom. These movers were on the cheaper side of the quotes I received, so I guess I get what I pay for. read more

I reached out to a few different moving companies on Yelp to gather quotes and Everlasting Moving was the most affordable and combined with the numerous good reviews, I decided to go with them to help me move. I reached out to Michael via Yelp regarding the initial scheduling but didn't receive a prompt reply so I called him the next day to finalize the scheduling. I initially wanted to make the reservation for a Saturday but he didn't have movers that were available on the Saturday I requested, so I ended up booking it for Sunday instead. In hindsight, I'm glad it ended up being on Sunday since I ended up needing all of Saturday to pack up my stuff. The arrival window was between 8:30-9:00AM and the movers promptly arrived at 8:32. They were quick and efficient and provided wardrobe boxes for the clothes I left on hangers. They also helped me disassemble and reassemble my desk. They also cling-wrapped my furniture pieces (sofa, chair, coffee table, mattress) and had a thicker blanket to wrap up my TV to protect it from scratches during transport. The movers were Chinese and spoke enough English for us to be able to communicate effectively so the language barrier wasn't too much of an obstacle. It took 2.5 hours for 2 movers to move my stuff to a 1 bdrm apartment with a travel distance of ~7 miles. It was $110 per hour, plus $30 for fuel (for 7 miles), and a mandatory $10 tip per hour per mover. All of the pricing information was conveyed prior to making the reservation and there were no surprise or hidden fees when the movers collected payment from me at the end of my move. The move was pretty seamless. The only minor grievance is that when the movers moved the sofa out of my old apartment, they ended up chipping off the paint on the door. Overall, I would definitely use their services again in the future for my next move. read more

I'm writing this review as the guys are working just amazed. They're so fast and they really know what they're doing! I would trust them with every move. They didn't stop either so if you're worried that they will milk the time, they won't. I made the mistake of not packing things before hand or at least getting things closer together so they can pack faster. I could only imagine how much faster they would've worked if we did that! We had a 3 story house and they made no complaints and no damages on the way down or up. They have all the tools to move but if you don't have boxes, it's $4 each box. We recently availed their service for our short move. There was only one thing I requested, to please keep wearing the shoe cover inside the house. We have a freaking crawling baby and I follow no shoe on the carpet. But still at the end they came into the nursery room itself without the show cover. I asked them to put the drawer in the dresser which was kept in the nursery. They didn't put the drawer in but took a stroll of the whole house with their shoes, removing the cover I gave them. They are efficient in moving. But what's the use, if I need to pick up after them and also, my little crawler already crawled over all the places they stepped on dirty. read more

Excellent service by Xiao He n Xiao Chen! I have had about eight or more quotes and Michael, the owner, offered with the best quote among all with excellent reviews to start with. His quote was really reasonable n not only that, the staff that came that day to help was really top notch hardworking, friendly, efficient, people. Xiao He was the main lead on the project. He n his team were very experienced n worked without any hiccup. I could not finished packing b4 they arrived n I did inform Michael as well when we talked about the scope. So the team was aware of that. They came n helped to pack without much problems. We had hiccup during our loading at our one of the two destination place. Issue with Public Storage for giving us the wrong address and we couldn't get the gate to open after office hours. It was late at night n because we needed to drop our stuff off at the storage b4 our apt, we had to choice but had to have the Xiao He and Xiao Chen to stay one night with us at a hotel n continue the move the next day (when Public Storage office opens-and yes. I'm truly not happy with Public Storage!). Michael charged a very reasonable rate. Basically it's the daily rate to pay back to the two employees for an extra day of work! This company is very honest n commitment to deliver their project up to customer's satisfaction! The two employees were good with their schedule as well. Very professional n courteous all the way. They work fast. Sometimes too fast n packed, say my disposable gloves that I needed for the move. When I tried to look for the box, I realized that it has been packed. Due to time crunch, as this is a long distance move n we tried to load n unload on the same day, and while not all home items were packed, so they worked from 7am (cam every punctual), to late night around 9ish pm (when we arrived at the hotel). That's why they had to be very efficient. So what if I can't find my disposable gloves bc they did all the could to get my stuff out of the origin home to the destination home ontime. Michael can speak English. English is not their the staff's language but they can understand well to get the job done. It's an advantage of course if you can speak their native language but I doubt it matters as long as you want movers to move your stuff on time n efficient n not breaking your items as well, at the same time still maintaining their humble professional work ethic. My second time using this company. Same outstanding services with a different crew. From scheduling standpoint, Michael Li is very prompt, courteous, flexible, and professional. We had a scheduling change at a last minute due to coordination with the SF HOA, they accommodated our change. On the day of the move, crew arrived on time, even announced to us when the moving meter started to count. They worked fast but careful. When arriving in SF, they arrived at the same time as my small vehicle despite a traffic accident near SF. After they finished, our building inspector whose job was to make sure no damage to the hallway of the building, told us that this crew was very professional! The setup was a bit rocky for scheduling at first. There was some miscommunication on the start time but the movers were flexible. Movers were well equipped for my moving needs. I had a queen bed that needed disassembling and they had an alen wrench handy to detach the headboard. They also had furniture shrink wraps and moving blankets to prevent any damage during transport. The only con about using their services is that they didn't understand English that well. So if you need them to follow certain instructions, it's going to be hard. But for my case, it was a simple move. They are considerate of the space and I really love how creative they get trying to move furniture through tight corners. They even make sure to take off their shoes at the door entrance, which I think was very thoughtful in most Asian households. I would probably consider recommending them again, but maybe if I had one of my Chinese friends with me to help easier to communicate with them read more
