Value, quick response, hard work, flexibility. I was sitting in chillies looking up movers for fun and found these guys based off reviews. They were transparent with pricing from the start. I was transparent with my storage unit space needed to be moved into an apartment. Storage unit was 10 feet by 10 feet and 9 feet tall. They offered me an emergency price because I requested the move to be so late. I said today or tomorrow. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked if 6pm was too late and they were very flexible in working with me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The boys just left at 9:30pm, Ivan and Jake. They were polite, reserved and very straight forward into work mode. One of the boys Jake even stopped half way from unloading the truck to offer help to a disabled person who was struggling to transfer from their wheelchair into a large suv. The person polity declined. Im not kidding about how polite they were. I would reccomend them and will also be reaching out next time with a scheduled move instead of spontaneous last minute move. My apartment was second floor with 1 flight of stairs straight up,16 steps. I was given a total of $431~ i think. I did tip the guys, college age and very tall and strong. 10/10 but keep in mind im very easy going. read more

They were extremely unprofessional. First of all, they came late by 2 hours. They market themselves as lowest prices but would do their job very slowly to buy time and increase the total move time. They would put the things in the wrong room and do small talk to increase the overall time. Ours was their second move in their day. If they were tired, they shouldn't have accepted the service. For our neighbors who lived in a same house like ours n had same things like us , it took only 3.5 hours but for us they did slowly and bloated it to 7 hours. MOVING is on the LIST of least FAVORITE things to DO! Bek and Orynbol made it so EASY and smooth that I don't even feel like I moved out 24 hours ago. I've moved 3x in the last 3 years and have done it every way.....with friends, driving to Home Depot to pick up a few guy's desperately wanting work and lastly hiring professionals. 1. Back breaking, cut & scrapes, sweaty & dirty - needing an hour massage and a weeks vacation somewhere tropical just to recuperate from the stress of the move. We rented a uhaul and it was cheap, but after mileage and gas it did add up. 2. Must speak fluent Spanish, which I gratefully have because my best friend is there for me on moving day, every time so he can speak to the guys and negotiate fairly. Otherwise there's likely to be a misunderstanding somewhere along the way and on the day you're changing your whole life, miscommunication is the last thing you want. Separately....My experience personally was I was groped by one of the men while I was in a tight spot getting out of the bathroom so there is a risk letting strangers into your home. 3. On time professional guys with dollies, packing tape, blankets, wardrobe boxes in a full size truck show up at the door, ready to get the job done. I didn't have to lift, push, bend or even touch anything because they were so fast & efficient. They didn't take their time or stand around talking, in fact I don't think they even took breaks! Found Nice Fellows Moving on Craigslist, and checked reviews on Yelp. I started off with an email, explained the date we'd like to move, picked a time, and gave the addresses. After a few emails back and forth, things were finalized. The one thing I regret was not picking an earlier time. The person who went before us, didn't pack his items, and therefore the movers ran late. Not their fault. The guys came in a large white truck, with all the packing materials if needed. They moved fast and never gave us any issues. For one apartment that had a lot of stuff, which made me reflect on my shopping habits, we paid for 4.5 hours. The first 2 hours are mandatory. They charge $99 per hour. Nice Fellows accepts cash or Zelle. This does not include tips. Wishing all of you a happy and safe move. read more

They post in the peninsula but what they dont tell you is the charge you to come to you before they do the job, charge for the job which is fine and then charge gas on top of that and even though their ad says 2 to 3 hr min on Friday and sat you can't do 2 hrs without being charged unless they have another job in that area on that day if you're on the peninsula which isn't fair. Because we get charged more and for them coming to us on top of the moving price and gas. Wow Because they're based in Santa Clara. How do we pay you to come to a job? I wish all jobs paid us just to come in and then pay us for the work and our gas fees and set the minimum at 3 hours depending on where we are. read more
