Requested a few couches, bed stands, dressers, tvs and etc be moved from San Jose to Sacramento and were quoted roughly $650. Although we ended up paying more than the request, due to additional hours attributed to traffic, the two men that unloaded the car were communicative, nice and quick. The main POC Arthur, is informative and very direct, which I admired, but be cautious as he really holds firm on the quality and price of the services his team delivers. Initially I wasn't going to go with them due to a lower estimate elsewhere and his occasional tone that shouldn't be spoke to potential customers, but I did like his vibe and I did appreciate his ability to respond quickly. I'd definitely use them for services but would definitely negotiate the departure and arrival times to avoid paying for 2 additional hours of travel. It's not fun for us and definitely, not for the drivers that just sit in traffic. read more

He even drove up from San Jose to Emeryville to give us a free consultation and brought us some packing supplies to get started, which we really appreciated. Even when there was a hiccup and HOA regulations required use of a smaller truck, Arthur saved the day by driving over in a backup truck to save us time. When it came time to unload our team continued their great work. They reassembled all of our furniture and even helped me put together a new bed frame. We were able to sleep soundly that night and wake up the next day to a functional home. Overall our experience with SVP was really exceptional. The day of the move, Arthur and the team reiterated their pricing structure with us. It was clear, consistent, and transparent. During the move-in process the team moved everything extremely carefully. Cafefully plastic wrapped and laid out a rags for all tables, dressers, and TVs. There was not a scratch from the place I moved from and to. The team took the time to disassemble and build our furniture and gave us the final say on furniture placement. Arthur and his crew Rowan and AD did an excellent job with my move. Got a message from Arthur a day before the move confirming the time. The day of the move they were a little early which was fine. Better than being late. Right when they got to my place they started working. No slacking around just moving stuff. We had a lot to move for a 2 bedroom condo. While one was wrapping up the furniture or breaking down the beds the crew kept hauling and moving stuff to their truck. It took a good three hours to empty out the condo and an hour to drive to the new place. Right when they got to my new place they started unloading furnitures. Like i said they don't stop working. They put the red protector on the floor like i requested. When they were finished they made sure everything was in its place where we want it. Arthur doubled check the rooms and the living room.
