They wrapped everything carefully, especially my glass display cases, and it all arrived in one piece. At the new place they helped me figure out furniture placement and didn't mind shuffling things around until it worked. Good sense of humor, too, which made the day go by fast. One of them strained his back partway through and still finished the job. Tip for others: I only booked two movers for a full truck, which was my mistake. Get a bigger crew and you'll save a lot of time. Would hire them again.

The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! The company initially arrived with a large truck and several workers, giving the impression of professionalism. However, after loading only a few of my belongings, they presented me with additional paperwork and pressured me to sign while the crew stood by waiting. I felt rushed because they were "on the clock," and when I tried to carefully review the documents, they became visibly frustrated. At that point, some of my furniture was already on the truck, and I felt I had little choice. Several days before the move, my family had already rented a U-Haul and moved most of our belongings ourselves. Elite was primarily responsible for moving the remaining large furniture. Despite the significantly reduced workload, I was billed for approximately 15 hours of labor, overtime, and hundreds of dollars in packing materials. The final bill exceeded $3,300, far more than I reasonably expected based on the work performed. The most troubling part of my experience occurred after my belongings arrived at my new home. Before they would unload my furniture, I questioned the charges. During a speakerphone conversation with their billing department, I was told that if I did not pay immediately, my belongings would be taken to auction and sold. I felt I had no practical choice but to pay because my family's belongings, including essential items for my newborn child, were already in their possession. Other people who were were present at my home also heard this conversation. Weeks later, additional charges were placed on my credit card that I did not expect or authorize, further increasing my concerns. I have filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services, and the matter is currently under investigation. I also encourage anyone considering this company to carefully review **all** Yelp listings associated with Elite Furniture Moving before making a decision, rather than relying on only one listing. Trust them and support local :) we had a great experience. 3 hr move plus 30 mins driving time cost us $437 + tip as u wish (or not if u dont want to). this beat all the other 5 estimates i explored via yelp. The beds and shelves were disassembled and reassembled perfectly. The entire move took only 3 hours which was a surprise as the stairs were steep and it was intermittently sprinkling.
