I had a 2-5pm window of time where they were supposed to come, and the guy came at 2pm on the dot, also calling me before hand letting me know he was in the way. He was nice and professional, and asked where to set the piece of furniture up, and for garbage/recycling bags to take care of all the packaging. Chris, the technician who assembled my hybrid bicycle (with disc brakes and 27 gears) knows his stuff and works quickly. I made an appointment with L&P Development to have some furniture assembled. My appointment was confirmed via both phone and email. My appointment window came and went, and they never showed up. And never contacted me to say they weren't coming. Afterwards, I called them and left a voice mail wanting an explanation for why they didn't show. Awful and deceitful. I signed up on Amazon to get my treadmill installed and was given a price of $60. A week later, right before my appointment, I get an email to say that the new price of the installation is $90 - a 50% increase! When I ask about it, they only say that my particular treadmill is more complicated to install than usual (even though when I bought it on Amazon it was clear it was for that particular treadmill) and I can either accept the new price or cancel - guess which one I chose. read more

Tech Dylan came out with his tools. He was on time which was important. He hung the tv despite it being a bit too large than the size they normally hang. It wasn't easy to find the studs but he was patient and we finally found them and got it hung. He took the time to make sure it was angled the right way. Great guy and experience. Exceeded expectations. About an hour into my service window I received a call from Dylan letting me know he was about 25min away. He helped assemble a sit-stand desk for me and was really efficient, polite and helpful. I have used L&P Development on two occasions. The first time they assembled a cabinet stand I purchased for a new 55" flat screen tv. The technician was friendly knowledgeable and efficient. He arrived in the first hour of the four hour window of my appointment which is always a plus. I was very impressed watching him take the various components out of the box lay them out on the floor and organize them preparing to assemble the unit. He assembled the unit without having to redo anything. There was a problem with the alignment on one of the glass doors and it would not properly open and close. He solved the problem using a shim so I would not have to order a replacement. The second job was a cabinet stand for a 55 gallon aquarium. There were problems with the delivery being delayed requiring a change in my appointment. They were able to change the appointment at the last minute and reschedule it hassle free. Once again I got a call from the technician Joey that he was on the way and arriving in the first hour. Joey began the assembly and as he was laying out the components he noticed two things. One was the doors were not functional merely cosmetic. Major problem! The pumps and filters for the aquarium are kept inside the cabinet and must be accessible for servicing and cleaning. Joey also determined by looking at the components it was not large enough for the tank. This saved me from a huge nightmare as I had the aquarium service scheduled for the tank install and fish ready to be shipped. They charged me a minor trip fee and told me call when you get the right stand. Joey returned when the correct stand arrived and that appointment went just as flawlessly and he did an excellent job. They do a great job for a very reasonable price and are great to deal with. When I had the delivery and wrong cabinet issues they responded to my emails in a timely manner and best of all you can call and talk to a real person or request they call you and they actually do! read more
