Then after 2mins of looking at my lock told me that he had to break my door lock by drilling thru it. I was expecting something around $350 just to drill a hole on my lock to break it. It was a 5min job but he charged me initially $525 and ended up $500. I was expecting the fee included installing my new lock so I can lock my home. He said its another $125 to install my old lock. I declined the install and did it myself. Tech insisted to vacuum all the debris from the drilling on my floor. I gave them 2 stars because they arrived quickly. But for a 5min job of drilling thru my smart lock $500 is a rip-off. I could by a drill at home depot and do the work for $120 only to do the same work tech performed.

Matt came out and rekeyed my Toyota after I lost my keys. The keys were transponder Keys and needed to be programmed into the computer. It took him a few tries, and a few different keys. He finally suggested we go with an oem Toyota key for as extra 50 dollars. We just wanted it to work, so we paid the extra price and he cut the key. It didn't work. Then we notice the car was pulling a trouble code. It was running fine before we lost the keys. Matt, who insists he was a mechanic in the past... was adamant that the car was running bad before we called him. He said it must be a bad sensor. Yeah. I'm an ASE certified tech (I don't work in the trade anymore) and I know the car was running without the trouble light being on before he got here. So, now we have a bunch of cut keys, none of them work and the car won't start at all. The Toyota key he reprogrammed was good enough to override the security system in the computer but not start the car. Why? Because this idiot jammed a bunch of keys in and out of the ignition trying to get it to work and he totally fubared it. The next morning I find my original keys in my jacket pocket (my bad) and go downstairs to see if the car will start. It does, but runs really rough and the power steering isn't working. All symptoms of a failing ignition system on the security sensor side (Toyota failsafe key systems suck) This guy is an idiot. When I called him to give him a chance to fix the problem he started mansplaining cars and wouldn't let me speak. Wrong attitude, dude. I have a degree in mechanical engineering. You not only sold us keys that wouldn't start the car, but you mucked the car up and lied about it. On top of everything, dude looked at my husband and talked to him (my husband is a programmer, not a mechanic) and pretty much dismissed everything I was saying was wrong. why did we pay for them even though the car didn't start? The Toyota key acted like it was accepted by the computer, the car was cranking but not turning over and I figured I could fix it after he left. This guy is going to cause some poor woman to be stuck on the side of the road somewhere or worse someday. Someone with ethics like this should not be changing locks on peoples houses and cars.
