Review #853 Posted on 1.23.25 I've worked with Access 24 for years now. Most recently I've sent them on a job to rekey a property I manage in Fremont just this week. Access 24 is experienced, honest, knowledgeable and fair with their charges. The owners of this company are trustworthy & very good people. Highly recommend read more

100% recommend Access 24. We initially reached out via email and always had prompt and clear responses with great guidance. We were able to get the right supplies and they came to our house and thoroughly and efficiently replaced all of the locks, changing a few to smart locks, and fixing the lock on the sliding door. They were very kind and professional and would happily work with them again. read more

Access is great! Here is the rule of thumb. If the locksmith, or any service provider, can not give you a quote over the phone or online, don't use them! That's what happened to me when I was locked out of my house. This very "popular" locksmith service (on Google) around the area refused to give me a quote at all, saying they would charge a fee just to come out and check it. They don't even have locksmith in the area and took them long time to show up. The reviews online say they actually come out and try to scam you for several hundred dollars! Not the case with Access. They are very professional, asked me for a photo of the lock, then gave me a quote over the phone right away! They also showed up quickly and got me into my house within 5 minutes! That's all I needed! Highly recommended. Again, do NOT use the other locksmith services if they refuse to be upfront; those are scams! read more

Rodney was great to work with. We had a fairly tricky lock that was jammed, and he was very diligent and careful to get it done properly. He was also very thorough to check other parts of the lock and door jam to prevent things from happening again. He was very patient and answered every question we had while also teaching me about how the lock works. Would highly recommend Rodney for anyone looking for a locksmith. I'm definitely adding him to my list whenever I need something. Quality work, easy to coordinate with at fair prices. read more

Great quick and effective service for my business out in Fremont. Highly recommend. Great pricing too as well!

I needed to have a new lock installed in my condo in the Warm Springs area of Fremont. Called several companies and Rodney was one of the first ones to immediately get back to me with a quote and date for installation. His 5 star reviews on Yelp is well deserved. He definitely is an expert in his field. He's professional, efficient and got the job done perfectly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any lock related issues or needs. There was another locksmith I was going to go with, but because his quote came back a tad bit later than Access's quote so I did not hire him. But even he told me I hired a great guy. He is well liked and known in the locksmith community. That really tells you something when competitors even vouch for another!!! Hire Access 24 Locksmith. You'll be happy you did. read more

They also put down a mat to help avoid any dirt or residue from drilling and also cleaned up remaining dirt. Rodney also was really open to helping me with any questions I had about programming the lock. Best lock smiths by far!! read more

Lovely folks and extremely professional. I had an emergency re-keying request for both the front door and mailbox. The service provided was outstanding and extremely efficient. Highly recommend! Thank you again for your help! read more

Rodney was fantastic! He responded within half a day, was able to fit me into his schedule the day I needed help, was reasonably priced, and best of all, was super courteous, kind and professional. He worked efficiently and was great at explaining his process. Because of covid, he wore a mask the entire time and even took off his shoes before entering my house. He was very safe and clean. He went above and beyond too! I had issues with something else, and he offered to help me even though it was unrelated to why I hired him. He didn't even charge me for that. His kindness was so appreciated! Because of Rodney, I feel more secure and safer. I plan to only use Rodney in the future and would recommend him to all my friends! read more

We needed two locks on garage doors to be replaced and keyed the same with the entrance door ( lock already in place). The husband and wife team are great. They did the job nicely and fast. I guess the price was ok. I like using local mom-and-pop shops, even if they are a bit more expensive. I am very happy. read more

My mom got locked out of her house and we were in search of a verified professional with reasonable weekend/evening prices in a very short amount of time. His website included a copy his license and after I texted him he asked for a picture of her lock and quickly provided a quote. He and his wife arrived within their ETA . What a relief to work with a family owned, trustworthy and reliable business. Thank you for helping my mom. We really appreciated your professionalism. read more

I locked myself out of my home recently and had a busy day planned ahead. I was panicking and and thought the day had been ruined as I'd have to wait for the locksmith for few hours. I looked up on Yelp for the best reviewed and closest locksmith in my area and Access 24 Locksmith came up. I called and my called was picked up right away. The gentlemen told me he could be here within 30 minutes. It was only about 15 minutes and he already arrived. Rodney is the one you want if you live with roommates and lock yourself out of your room! Got locked out of my room in my house in Hayward and thought I'd be spending the whole day waiting for a locksmith after sending out quotes to 10 in the area and getting a lot of late afternoon availabilities. Rodney not only showed up in 30 minutes but took care of the problem in less than 20 minutes and didn't damage my door. Definitely recommend asking for him if you need quick, smart and polite service. He also takes credit cards! Saved me from having a horrible day and hours of waiting. Thank you Rodney!! read more

A week after moving into our new place, we got locked out. It was a Friday night with our leasing office closed and many places unresponsive/unopened to help. Used Yelp to look for a locksmith and messaged a few places. Access 24 was the quickest to respond. They asked about the problem and quoted us a price. We are desperate and need to get in the house, so we accept it. Less than 20 minutes later, they arrive and within 5 minutes they help us open the door (I was feeling mixed feelings about this ha...). They charged us less than what was quoted, so that was nice. Good experience with Access 24 Locksmith and they provided the fastest response and action. Would recommend for anyone in the area. read more

I was super happy to find someone good. Gave them the job to change locks at a commercial business. Rodney didnot bring the locks to the appointment after me explaining clearly that we need the locks changed with the key. Existing locks DONOT have key. When they arrived first no locks were brought. Then he gives looks at the whole job and gives me the estimates and I approved it. Once approved Awww waited 2 days before I reached out to him to see when are they coming back. Today I received a message saying sorry please find someone else we are booked for next 2 weeks. Seriously. Why did you take the job and why would you send estimate and promise to come next day to finish. I am super disappointed with the way this was handled. Zero communication, unprofessionally managed and totally missed to satisfy the client. We approved the order without any negotiations. Then why the job was not completed. Please. See texts. As you can see I got upset after he said 2 weeks. When I clearly replied to him very next day. That's also shown on text. 3 rd. What difference does it make if it's me or employee. I had sore throat and didnot want to take risk getting one sick. So manager employee can handle showing the locks that need to be replaced and I can simply Venmo the money. read more

Rodney and Sylvia are professional, courteous and competent! Family owned business, great service.

Professional and very courteous! My wife locked the laundry room door by accident. I contact Rodeny thorugh Yelp in the morning and he was able to provide me a quote and answered my questions quickly. I appreciated him coming quickly on the weekend afternoon. He explained why there was some difficulties in unlocking the door, and did a quick work to unlock the door and disabled the lock upon my request. All in all I was very satified with the outcome. Five stars and highly recommended! read more

Rodney was on time, professional, wearing a mask and saved the day! I used yelp for quotes and he was fast to respond AND the earliest appt time with the BEST RATE!
