Not only did he sell us 300 dollars worth of useless cut keys, but he messed my car ignition system up so bad I have to pay someone else to fix that on top of it. Matt came out and rekeyed my Toyota after I lost my keys. The keys were transponder Keys and needed to be programmed into the computer. It took him a few tries, and a few different keys. He finally suggested we go with an oem Toyota key for as extra 50 dollars. We just wanted it to work, so we paid the extra price and he cut the key. It didn't work. Then we notice the car was pulling a trouble code. It was running fine before we lost the keys. Matt, who insists he was a mechanic in the past... was adamant that the car was running bad before we called him. He said it must be a bad sensor. Yeah. I'm an ASE certified tech (I don't work in the trade anymore) and I know the car was running without the trouble light being on before he got here. So, now we have a bunch of cut keys, none of them work and the car won't start at all. The Toyota key he reprogrammed was good enough to override the security system in the computer but not start the car. Why? Because this idiot jammed a bunch of keys in and out of the ignition trying to get it to work and he totally fubared it. The next morning I find my original keys in my jacket pocket (my bad) and go downstairs to see if the car will start. It does, but runs really rough and the power steering isn't working. All symptoms of a failing ignition system on the security sensor side (Toyota failsafe key systems suck) This guy is an idiot. When I called him to give him a chance to fix the problem he started mansplaining cars and wouldn't let me speak. Wrong attitude, dude. I have a degree in mechanical engineering. You not only sold us keys that wouldn't start the car, but you mucked the car up and lied about it. On top of everything, dude looked at my husband and talked to him (my husband is a programmer, not a mechanic) and pretty much dismissed everything I was saying was wrong. why did we pay for them even though the car didn't start? The Toyota key acted like it was accepted by the computer, the car was cranking but not turning over and I figured I could fix it after he left. This guy is going to cause some poor woman to be stuck on the side of the road somewhere or worse someday. Someone with ethics like this should not be changing locks on peoples houses and cars. read more

Very disappointing how I got handle today when I called asking for assistance with my lock. I spoke to the owner of the company and told him you've been to my office before and I need your help. He quoted me the same price which was fine, but I asked him about a key for my mailbox. He quoted me $100 dollars and I laughed because the mailbox alone wasn't that much at all. I then told him I would like him to do my office door. He said he would call me . In less then a minute he calls me back and says he doesn't have anyone. Annoyed!!! I was totally happy with their service. I needed a new chipped key cut for my 05 Mustang when I called to ask questions he mentioned he would even match competitors prices. After I called around I called him back. He got to my house in 10 minutes that was great. The whole process took less than 15 minutes they know what they are doing. The second key made I never used but when I tried it it's stuck in my trunk a little I called him he was at my house within 8 minutes to adjust the key. I called this locksmith on a Saturday at noon and was told someone would be out at 2PM. Nobody came. I called them back and was told someone would be out at 5:30. Nobody came so I called back to see why and was told to call back first thing Sunday morning. I called back at 8 am on Sunday and was told someone would be out at 11:oo am. Nobody came so I called to see why. I was then told the tech was running late and would be at my house at 2 pm. Nobody came. So I called to see why and was told someone would be there at 5pm. Nobody came so I called another locksmith company who was out in an hour and had my broken key extracted in another hour. These guys are great. My key broke in half in my pocket I called A-1 they quoted me a price and told me a half hour to come out and make a key. Sure enough they show up in that time frame and can make me a new chipped key and program it. Their tech Mike was quick it fit first time he was gone within 15 min or so. So just a FYI this will be very detailed, so I have been suffering from a brain injury due to being robbed and kicked in the head several times I am just recovering and get tired very easily. I can't walk far. So I was given a 96 Mercedes.last night on my was home my already screwed up key snapped In the door thank god it didn't get stuck inside.The guy Matt was nice at first when I called, I asked him for an appt at 1:30 in which he refused saying I might not be here when he came(I thought this was strange ) because he refused harshly,I brushed it off and called him back when I was ready in which he said it would take him 30-45 minutes to get here,he got here on time and started working on my key after messing with it for about 40 min he made a key that unlocked the door in which I praised him highly for the whole time I was thanking him, then ........... He put the key in the ignition,he was having a hard time starting it because my key has a code and the remote has to be close it started once but he couldn't get it going after that. I then asked if I could attempt to try he walked away from me to his car and comes back with my snapped key and tells me if I want to try I have to give him the money (absurd). Now I manage a store and know that if your selling something in most cases besides food the customer is allowed to try the product out and make sure it works fine, in this case he knew it would not work once I paid him and tried to scam me out of the money so I would be stuck -150 and with a car that doesn't start, he even said "I said I could mAke you key I never promised it would start your car" duh that's what I need it for. He turned into a real pain in the ass after that and pretty much spent a hour and a half wasting our time annnnndddd if he would have let me try and it worked I would have paid him but he decided to be rude and give me ultimatums and I let him leave asking why he waste so much time and leave without his money... Why because he knows his work wasn't legit this time. He was rude and I would never recommend him to anyone and if you do make sure you check yours keys before you pay(if he lets you). read more
