We had such a wonderful experience working with Tim! He was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about doing a great job. His workmanship was excellent and everything was done with so much care and attention to detail, and you can tell he really takes pride in his work. He went above and beyond what I expected and was so generous with his time and effort. It's honestly rare to come across someone who is both skilled at what they do and such a genuinely good person. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman. I'll definitely be reaching out to him again for future projects! read more

I absolutely love my new bathroom! Tim's Handyman did an amazing job. His pricing is very reasonable, and I really appreciated how straightforward he is. If he finds something wrong behind the walls that needs to be replaced, he will be honest and tell you right away. He also works incredibly fast. We only had some minor delays because of parts that I had ordered myself, but if it weren't for that, he would have finished my entire bathroom within a week! I also have to give a huge shoutout to Farida--she was so nice and professional. She handled setting up the appointments and made sure communication was smooth throughout the whole process. I have attached my before and after photos so you can see the huge difference. I even had a hole in my bathroom floor!!!! I highly recommend them! read more

Ist time i met him i paid him cash. Interesting that when after a conservator stepped in to pay out of my deceased folks' estate for another visit, he never responded to my texts or calls. I even offered to pay him cash and apologized when the hours and days for his business were erroneous online. Not my fault and I was a fool to be made to feel that I should apologize but it just goes to show that I am the better person here and he needs to not take people for granted; especially when he is running a business. Man up!!! read more

Let me start with this -- Tim is great! He's a hardworking, family man with a solid work ethic. I was referred to him by a friend almost two years ago, and since then, he's been my go-to person for just about everything around the house. He's installed a new door, assembled a big dining table, mounted a TV, fixed broken areas around the house -- and most recently, completely changed the fence in the backyard (photos attached). Every time he works on something, he does it carefully, neatly, and the right way. What I really appreciate is that once you tell him what you want, he'll do it the best way possible -- you don't have to worry or double-check anything. It's peace of mind knowing the job will be done right. His prices are also very reasonable for the quality of work he delivers. You really get great value for what you pay, and it's rare to find someone that reliable these days. Tim works clean, takes pride in what he does, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the results. Once you've had him help you once, you'll keep calling him back for every new project -- he's like that good old friend who can fix anything and always has your back. Highly recommend! read more

I received a quote from Tim to replace a bathroom fan/light fixture. When the fan failed, I found the hole in the fan housing had never been punched out and connected to duct work, so without going into the attic, I had no idea if we would need duct work as well. Tim provided a price for the fan installation, the additional cost of we needed to do the duct work, and a cost in case any drywall work was needed if the fan was a different size. I appreciated his willingness to provide the breakdown so I knew how much the maximum cost would be. His price was fair, he worked efficiently and masked things off to minimize dust. He cleaned up after the project and was great to work with. I would highly recommend Tim and will definitely be reaching out to him the next time I have a project I cannot tackle myself. read more

Highly recommend! Tim has done a fantastic job on several projects which have included 3 sink and vanity installations and two bathroom fans which included electrical and drywall. He is efficient, respectful of the house and he is absolutely one of the best maintenance people I have found via Yelp. His timeline and prices are reasonable and everything is clear- no hidden costs etc. When the projects have hit snags things are clearly communicated to find a resolution that works while keeping the high quality of work. read more

I can't say enough nice things about working with Tim! He has installed the kitchen ceiling fan and retrofitted the cabinets to fit a new stove, which honestly involved a lot of work. He's always quick, reasonably priced and does the job perfectly. He'll be our go to handyman moving forward. read more

Initially I hired Tim to fix a couple of screen doors and he did a nice job with that. While he was here, I asked if he did deck work and he said that he did. My deck is very large and I was looking to replace the planks over about 80% of it. Tim worked his butt off and did an amazing job. There was some underlying water damage to the deck support beams and he did all that additional work for a reasonable charge. I can't recommend him enough! read more

Had a great experience working with Tim's Handyman for my condo repairs and painting. They took care of everything efficiently, including a last-minute toilet repair that popped up during the project. Tim was highly professional, communicative, and very accommodating when it came to keeping the unit clean and providing itemized invoices for tax purposes. On top of that, their rates were very reasonably priced and straightforward. I'll definitely be reaching out to them again for future projects! read more

I asked Tim to replace a failing attic exhaust fan at the peak of our two-story home with a new smart 3-speed fan that is Bluetooth controlled. He arrived on time and diligently spent three hours removing the old fan, adding new electrical and installing the new exhaust fan. He took photos of the install to show me how he carefully water-proofed the fan around its perimeter. He took all the old components away and charged us a very fair price including materials he had to purchase. He is very professional and does excellent work. I recommend his services and will use him again. read more

Tim to the rescue! We wanted to add a smart lock to our front door. However there is a frame around the decorative window that prevented my husband from doing it himself. We thought we might need to replace the door. We needed help fast and Tim was able to schedule us quickly. He gave us a quote in advance, arrived on time, did the work perfectly. The work didn't take long and I appreciate that he charged a very fair price. We'll call Tim again when needs arise. read more

Very professional an easy to work with. Finished everything in less than 90 minutes. Will likely use Timur again for additional tasks.

Tim did an impeccable job building and installing custom shelves for us. We had a very oddly-shaped entryway closet without any shelving. I texted Tim a few photos, he responded immediately with a quote upon my asking, and scheduled the project for the next day. He worked efficiently, was super tidy, and the shelves are exactly what we asked for. Would highly recommend! read more

Professional, efficient service. Responded fairly quickly, had clear estimate and communication, and arrived on time. Solid work. Had 2 ceiling fans replaced (removed old, installed new) and a grab bar installed in tub in ~2 hours, including cleanup and a need to pivot from original plans for one of the fans. From a price perspective, of 4 quotes I received, his was not the lowest but was pretty competitive and MUCH less expensive than the highest quote. Happy I went with him and would definitely use him again. read more

In the SF Bay/San Jose area it is a rare thing to find an individual who is both highly skilled for so many different types of repairs, installations, and renovations and also someone who is such a professional, on time, and responsive. Tim is both of these things and is such an extraordinary find that I think we will be relying on him for many other household repairs and renovations around our place. Tim installed: * Two Waterdrop X12 under-sink reverse osmosis water filters for two of our sinks * A new Kohler bathroom faucet * Moved a clothes dryer vent to a better location In all instances, Tim's work was truly top notch. He worked efficiently and kept each workspace clean. When he was done with each space, he returned it to same or better condition than he found it. For the dryer vent, the patching job of the interior wall and the exterior siding was impressive and he went to extra lengths to match the orange-peel texture of the drywall inside and the wood grain of the plaster board outside. For the bathroom faucet, he noticed that I had purchased a single-hole style faucet even though the pedestal sink has three holes in it. He went to his van and brought back a deck plate to cover over the other holes. To top it all off, Tim's prices for service are very reasonable given the high quality of work he performs. Thank you Tim and company for the extraordinary service. read more

Amazing experience! Tim was extremely detail-oriented, and his workmanship was excellent. Scheduling with Farida (his wife) was easy and responsive. Our original builder-grade powder room needed a lot of work -- from a broken light fixture and leaking water supply to a faulty faucet and outdated exhaust fan -- and Tim absolutely delivered. We already have more upgrades planned and have booked his next availability. Highly recommend! read more

I've called Tim twice and I will be calling him a again time when the need arises. He's efficient, does good work, and cleans up after his work - all for a very reasonable rate. Needed to change a light switch in the house and decided to check around for local a handyman. Was surprised by a lot of the quotes I got. Tim's was by far the most reasonable price and the reviews were very good. On the agreed date and time, Tim showed up and immediately got to work. A lot of times contractors will come and ask a lot of questions that have already been answered or explained via Yelp or text, which means they did not review the project carefully. Tim knew exactly what he came for and had his tools ready as well. I was impressed with the speed at which the work was done. He was in and out quickly and hassle free.
