Mike did an excellent job correcting the plumbing issues left behind by my previous contractor. He replaced the pipes with proper P-traps and fixed the shower piping inside the wall, addressing problems that had been done incorrectly before. He showed up on time, worked efficiently, and clearly knew what he was doing. I also really appreciated how clean he left everything when the job was done. On top of that, he did a great job repairing the drywall afterward, which made the whole area look as good as new. Thanks Mike! read more

Today was the first time I hired Mike, but I'm sure it won't be the last. He was on time, communicated clearly, did excellent work, cleaned up thoroughly, and charged a fair price. He removed damaged boards from the deck, widened the opening for a tree, and repainted. I am very happy with the quality of the work, and I'm already making a list of projects for his next visit. read more

Quick response and in time service. Thanks for Mike willing to take this job. I'm grateful to have him supporting this.

I hired these guys to fix a few quick things around the house. They needed to replace a reverse osmosis water tank, fix my front door so it closed properly and neatly staple an exposed wire to the wall. They showed up on time (a huge accomplishment given how flaky some of these guys are) and finished the tasks relatively quickly. They charge $95/hour but they do good work. I'd definitely hire them again. read more

I made the mistake of accepting a per-hour rate. Sweeping the leaves and dirt off a small portion of my roof should've taken less than an hour, max. But he took 3. I guess there was a miscommunication, since he also cleaned out my gutters. The roof and gutters came out super clean. But still... I only wanted a portion of my roof to be swept, and didn't expect to pay for more than an hour of work. Maybe 2 at most. So it was surprising to be charged for 3. read more

I had an emergency request to replace faulty smoke alarms in my apartment home. If you can imagine, loud decibel chirps going off at 2:30 AM in the morning. I reached out to three other handymen and Just Mike was the only one that picked up the phone. Mike listened, was upfront about the cost of labor and part and schedule to come out that same day. He was able to squeeze me in early in the day - and i (and my neighbors) appreciated it. Just Mike was professional, quick and professional. He did not play bait and switch tactics with final labor cost. I would highly recommend Just Mike as I plan to use them for future projects. read more

We just called Just Mike few days ago and they came today at 12pm and patched up our holes in the family room and bedroom since we are reorganizing some things. I found "Just Mike" after looking for a plumber to help swap out our filtration system stuff for maintenance (tank, filter, etc.). I already purchased the kit but had no clue how to do it myself. The contact who installed it for my family it is no longer working with clients anymore. I called around for quotes and one plumber told me "they don't do that and I should reach out to 'handy men' type service." So I went to Yelp to revise my search. So grateful for that feedback and for finding "Mike." He gave me a quote over the phone because they charge by the hour. His tech came to our house shortly after the window of time we agreed on (next day). The tech swapped everything out (including testing and making adjustments) and was done within 15 minutes.
