Office move done!!! Dan and Carlos were on top of their game. They arrived on time, treated my belongings well and moved efficiently. I've moved my home 2 times in the last few years with a different company. Main Movers helped me to see how easy a move should be. read more

Recently moved from Nor Cal to So Cal with a wife and 2 young children and was referred to Main Movers. Fred, Dan and the team were AWESOME - I'd highly recommend using them! Very fair pricing, especially compared to a few of the "bigger" names. Be it Fred or Dan, both were up to speed with our relocation plans and seamless in communicating. They were right on time for pick up and drop off and most importantly nothing was damaged; the team was very careful breaking down our larger furniture and Dan was a champ at putting everything back together :) Thanks for the seamless relocation Dan & Fred! read more

If you want a worry free move, then call Main Movers, the very best company for moving. Main Movers relocated our household goods from San Jose to Rocklin, CA. The move was a worry free move because everything was in the hands of a professional experienced team of movers who were highly skilled, very well trained, with very positive attitudes and strong work ethics. Freddie was instrumental in influencing me to sign on with Main Movers when he came to my home to assess the requirements for the move -- two trucks and five workers. The moving team arrived on time and immediately started packing and loading the first truck. Then the second truck was loaded the same day. Workers were all in sync in getting things done. Juan was a gifted supervisor who orchestrated the move with great finesse and leadership skills. Juan even fixed a broken leg on a table for me. Manny was a fantastic packer. Mike had a beautiful singing voice and belted out a few tunes while moving. I was amazed how smoothly the move went because we just had so much "stuff." The crew handled our household goods with the greatest of ease and caution, moving ever so carefully to avoid any damages to furniture. The drive to Rocklin from San Jose was flawless and timely. The unloading of the truck was like a very well choreographed dance performance (smile) with every mover/dancer doing their part. Most amazing and surprising to me was the crew's ability to know the best placement for furniture. They would ask me exactly where I wanted the furniture placed and would do so. However, they would make suggestions as to where furniture placement should go and they would be exactly right. I guess when you have experienced so many moves, you tend to know where furniture should be placed. One worker said that he also watched HGTV so he had great decorating ideas. Even at the end of a long hard day, the workers had positive attitudes. These guys worked very hard and got the job done. The cost of the move was reasonable compared to other companies. In fact the company that I had originally signed up with had difficulty getting a second truck. Main Movers has a fleet of trucks so there were no issues or problems. So if you want a worry free flawless move with reasonable prices, then call Main Movers. I would recommend them highly without any reservations. read more

Main Movers handled our local move. Showed up on time, courteous and cheerful throughout. Big thanks to Juan, Dan and Nathan!

I had an AWESOME experience with Main Movers and Dan! I was stuck in a rut because I needed to relocate my tiny office and unfortunately the move companies all had 2-3 hour minimums when I did not need that much time. And the independent "movers" I found in other places that didn't have that requirement didn't provide moving trucks and I didn't want to deal with renting a truck. And then I called Main Movers and explained my situation and Dan graciously assured me that he was going to help me out. He came to move me on a Sunday afternoon and showed up on time and ready to get busy. He's a great guy and demonstrated care for my office furniture and electronics too. I will be using Main Movers again for future (hopefully larger) moves and will be recommending them to friends and family too! read more

I had a 300 sq foot office I needed moved from San Mateo to Redwood City. Based on the yelp reviews, I called and spoke with the owner. (I forget his name, had an accent). Anyhow, I described to him the office, the things inside and to my surprise, he gave me a quote over the phone. I specifically told him about one very heavy fire rated file cabinet that I knew would be a tough move. I had thought he would want to see our office and the drop off location first, but he didn't. I felt the quote was fair, and I was in a hurry to get it done, so I hired him over the phone. When he and his crew arrived, they complained to my employee about everything... the amount of stuff in our office, the weight of the cabinets, the distance from the office to the door.... You name it.... Very unprofessional. I met them in Redwood City and they complained to me about the same issues.... The owner said it took them much longer and was more work than expected.... He then goes on to describe the basic job of a mover..... Not wanting to argue with the guy, I asked him how much more money he wanted. He gave me a price (300.00 more than originally quoted), and I immediately agreed as I just didn't want to hear him complain. Then, he just continued to complain about the same stuff even after I agreed to pay him more money!!! Anyhow... I will give them credit for some things...., they did show up on time. Nothing got broke... it appeared the protected our things well in the move... that's where it ends. Giving a quote on the phone... then changing the price once they arrive... and then agreeing to more money and they still complain about everything really left a bad taste in my mouth. If you are thinking about hiring them, do not accept a quote over the phone... Be sure they see the location and items to be picked up and the drop off location.... It will save you alot of grief. read more

These guys get it done. Our company used Main Movers for one smaller move, plus a 3000 sq/f office move scheduled in the same week. On time and reliable. Also, their quote came in lower than the others. Great communication from start to finish as well. Fred and his crew are worthy of your business. In addition, Main Movers stands behind their services and workforce 110%. During our move, an item went missing. Main Movers offered to reimburse us for the item. The item turned up with our construction crew two days later. Main Movers didn't have to offer to reimburse us, but they did. That tells you these guys are genuine. Great move. read more

This would be my 2nd move using movers and have to say that Main Movers did an outstanding job!! I had to ask for quite a bit of adjusting with my moving schedule and even needing them to store my stuff onsite for 2 days. They were great and told me that they would be able to accommodate anything I needed and only charged me $50 a day for storage, when my old movers wanted to charge me $350 a day. Juan, Carlos, Mike and Manny were great!! They were very helpful and even put extra furniture together that had been delivered to my new house, so I didn't have to worry about it. I feel the best part of this move was how much they thought about my things and not to damage them. I went from having LVT Flooring and Carpet to all Laminate and they put felt pads on ALL of my furniture so my floors would not get damaged. If you need movers for close or distance moves, I would recommend Main Movers. read more

Just wanted to give these guys a S/O! Second time I've used them and never had any issues. They were on-time, respectfully, worked there asses off, and their prices are very reasonable. Juan, John, and George had a great vibe going and I would definitely use them again. read more

Main movers is the best company I ever been I learned a lot and now I'm a Lead I work hard to where I'm at

Main Movers checked all the boxes as far as great service goes: prompt, courteous, professional. They did our long distance move from Palo Alto to a storage unit in Paso Robles, which included a piano, all our furniture and over 100 boxes, in one day. The owner, Julian, is a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional. The movers themselves were friendly, fast and worked well as a team. The piano was carefully crated and furniture wrapped in blankets to prevent damage. Finally, the cost was fair (I had gotten bids from several other companies) and was a flat rate, meaning it didn't change due to weight, extra materials needed for packing, or other 'day-of details' that can send moving costs sky-rocketing (I'm told). Highly recommended. read more

This is by far the best moving company I have ever used and I've moved twelve times in the Bay Area since 2001. Juan, Carlos, and Nathan were all very professional, kind, careful, and hard-working. They were also the first crew I had ever worked who sounded genuine at the end of the move when they inquired whether there was anything else they could help with. It goes without saying that they were pros when it came to wrapping furniture, transporting items, and navigating tight corners. On top of that, this was the best packed truck I've ever seen (I am a perfectionist and obsessively organized). And last but not least, I color-code my boxes by room and they were the first guys I've ever worked with who comprehended this and put everything in the right places! A huge thank you also to owner Dan for patiently answering all of the questions on the phone beforehand. read more

Main movers did an amazing job of moving my furniture from my old office to a new office. These guys go beyond what they have to do to make sure that your things are safe and transported safely! Big thanks to the crew I was assigned with! Julian, Juan, and Mike did a fantastic job and I had nothing to worry about at all. I arrived at my office later on after my meetings everything was placed nicely where I wanted it and they even left me a nice gift basket! read more

The team was very communicative throughout this process (confirmed the date/time when we booked and again, the day before our move, they also called prior to arriving on moving day with a more specific etc).  They were thorough and was able to disassemble, move and reassemble everything well.  The team was nice, professional, would recommend! read more

Wow, we cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Main Movers. Juan, Mike and Alberto were friendly, professional, thoughtful, and incredibly thorough. They met us at Uhaul and unpacked two storage units into their moving truck. They then brought all of our items to our new home, and did an amazing job unpacking the truck and putting all of the items in the right rooms -- asking questions along the way to make sure they were getting it right. They also unpacked for us a huge POD! Pretty amazing that they were able to get this all done in a single day. I would highly recommend their service to anyone who is in the process of a move. read more

Main movers did our move from SM to Roseville. Too many items were missing. Talked to Freddy, he said they will take care of it. Still nothing was done. The movers had to use 2 trucks and forgot something and had to go back. One of the trucks arrived at my new house and they said the second truck had to stay overnite and deliver the next day. The driver arrived the next day and wanted to charge us extra. Do not use these guys. These guys are crooks! read more

these guys are passionate and quick people! They are on-time, respectful, and pretty good at sticking to the estimated time and price.

I called Main Movers a week before moving a two bedroom house from Palo Alto to Redwood City. I scheduled this on a Saturday but due to last minute change I needed to move it to Sunday. No problem! Julian was accommodating and communicative through the whole scheduling process and move day! His partner Francisco showed up on time with a crew of two and they were very meticulous and careful, there was no damage or scratches on anything!! Very fast, efficient and a great price! A few days later Francisco came back after our floors were refinished to help move some things around, again, totally awesome- on time, fast and they took care of my stuff like it was their own! Julian was immediately responsive to phone calls and texts. If you want to take the stress out of your move, these are your guys! I highly recommend them! read more

These guys are the best. They recently moved my family and I to the 3rd floor of an apartment building carrying everything upstairs. They were extremely professional and very nice. They took the time to wrap all my furniture up to protect it and never complained once about going up stairs even in the 90 degree heat. I would recommend them to anyone moving and will definitely use them again! read more

Great service. Prompt, Courteous and professional. They were on time every time from the time i got the initial walk through, to getting back to me on the quote, to move day, and on the back end. And they were 25% cheaper than anyone else who i called. I wholeheartedly recommend to AT LEAST have a conversation with Julian or Freddie before you finalize your moving company choice and let them take a look. I wish the rest of my move went this smooth, but that's another story for another post. read more

I have used Main Movers for two moves now, one in belmont/redwood city & again moving my sisters apartment in SF/Sausalito. Julien & Frank have a personable demeanor & great attention to detail in packing, wrapping furniture & ensuring items are moved with care. They arrived on time for both moves, loaded quickly (as fast as one would want to ensure items are packed in the truck well), and unloaded putting marked boxes in their proper locations. Their business & payment system is simple & straight forward unlike many other movers who will charge you more & tack on extra fees like mileage, packing supplies, etc. I will be keeping their contact info for the next time we move & would surely recommend them. read more
