Sunny's team accommodated me on a short notice with reasonable pricing. They helped with the disassembling and wrapping of larger fixtures and furnitures, and worked so efficiently. There were no damages to my items either.

Overall our experience was good, but I don't think I would use them again. A little background: It was a super hot day, and I felt bad for the movers. They didn't seem to have water or proper PPE for the weather. The positive: Movers were on time and ready to work! Items were moved carefully, but they probably could have used a third worker based on the items we had. I feel I was transparent with how much items we had including heavy items. The negative: Two movers were not enough based on the items we had including heavy items. The move took much longer than expected. Movers seemed really irritated the whole time, which I can't tell if it was from the heat or we did something wrong. Movers also left garbage behind and we had to clean up after. Usually the moving company will follow up after to see how things went, but we never heard from Nancy. Nancy also said she would come to check in during the move, but never did. We paid, and it was done. I think overall, it was a fine experience, but not to the level of other moving companies I've worked with before. Based on the more recent reviews, it looks like some improvements have been made which is great!

Miscommunication regarding storage - I was told that storage could be arranged at my destination for a month. I was planning to use that month to hunt for apartments. But at the end, this promise was reneged. 2. Exact delivery date was communicated at the very last moment - For the longest time, I was told that the delivery can happen on one of two days. It's very hard for a working professional like me to ask for time off on two days in advance. Apart from these things everything was spot on. The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! Fremont to San Leandro, done right…read more Maxim and Sasha from the San Francisco office moved a full truckload of furniture for me from Fremont to San Leandro, and they were great. They wrapped everything carefully, especially my glass display cases, and it all arrived in one piece. At the new place they helped me figure out furniture placement and didn't mind shuffling things around until it worked. Good sense of humor, too, which made the day go by fast. One of them strained his back partway through and still finished the job. Tip for others: I only booked two movers for a full truck, which was my mistake. Get a bigger crew and you'll save a lot of time. Would hire them again.

Everything was good till that point - the moving itself was well done and they protected the items. But when it came time for payment, they basically strong armed/guilt tripped me into paying them a considerable amount over the quoted price as a "tip". This ruined the entire exchange for me, as prior to that they were 5 star worthy. But not honoring the quote and asking for more after making sure the review was posted is a very shady move. I will not be using them for future needs, and do not recommend them to others.

Worst movers ever! We hired Jose and crew for a cross country move. When he arrived to give us an…read moreestimate, his pitch was that he would treat our belongings as if they were his own prized possessions...so far from the truth! We asked him about storage given the fact that we had not secured our new home and he replied that he had a warehouse. We specifically asked if it was "simply a storage unit." Oh no, "he replied." (Not true...see photo.) We did our due diligence and checked his reviews, and called some references that he provided. I checked the DOT website to confirm his credentials. The site stated that his was not authorized for interstate moving. I asked him about it and he said that he simply needed to update/renew (he sent a copy of the form that he submitted.) On the day of delivery, I asked to see his cargo insurance (following best practices). He was offended and said he did not want to do the job because we don't trust him. (He did not have cargo insurance.) We had a deadline and did not have the time to secure another mover on that day. We appeased him and moved forward. Fast forward to delivery day about 7 weeks later. He was missing so many items, and there was so much damage! He left an entire pallet behind...sofa, queen size headboard to name a few. When i said that I was missing designer bags his response was that I was lying and did not have any...WHAT? When he returns to CA he discovers my things (see photos). He then has my things shipped on a pallet. I am still missing items...designer umbrellas, RH bath accessories, lamp shade...the list is too long. Adding insult to injury, roaches were crawling out of the boxes from his "warehouse" and a mouse was brought into my new home! Horrific experience! I may need to seek legal advice as the cost of repairs, extermination, and replacement of missing items is growing exponentially! Jose and his crew were very professional, friendly, and hard-working. I lived in a second story apartment with no elevators. They did a great job packing my furniture, lamps, appliances, etc. and worked tirelessly hauling everything downstairs. Met me in Idaho and helped set up everything in my house. I would highly recommend White Red Moving.
