The fries were absolutely incredible and tasted homemade. They had a perfectly crispy exterior with a pillowy soft interior, creating the ideal texture in every bite. Crispy, flavorful, and perfectly executed, they were easily one of the highlights of the meal. The true stars of the evening, however, were the burger and the steak. Both were cooked to perfection and showcased the restaurant's ability to let high quality ingredients shine. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and expertly prepared. My only wish was that caramelized onions had been available, as I think they would have elevated the burger even further. Once inside the large upstairs tasting venue, we were treated to a nice wine tasting by Riana. The wines were nice. I'm a Cabernet person but I enjoyed the sparking rose. Refreshing and not too sweet. I wish we would have had more time to view some of this historic photos and explore the downstairs part of the venue as it looked interesting but perhaps another time when we return to Napa.

It has one Michelin Star and is located at the same place as the hotel which was granted three Michelin Keys (meaning it's an extraordinary stay). I made reservations as soon as they were open for the date that I wanted which I recommend. As I got closer to the date I checked the website again and all the reservations were booked. The property has amazing panoramic views of the vineyards from the outdoor patio as well as terraces on the other floors. There was both indoor and outdoor seating but I recommend making a reservation outside to enjoy the views during your meal. We started a meal with a half glass each of their champagne but it cost $66 which I thought was significantly overpriced. At that point I would've just ordered a bottle of wine for about the same price. We ordered the six course chef's tasting menu ($245 per person) and also added the ossetra caviar full set ($225). The caviar came with crème fraiche, soft bread, and other accompaniments and was great. For the tasting menu, I particularly liked the sautéed diver scallop, wolfe ranch quail, and roasted local lamb. Even though it didn't look like a lot of food, most of the courses were meat-heavy and we left pretty satisfied at the end. The service was great, the views were amazing, and we were given some personal touches/messages for our special occasion. It's definitely a luxurious experience and the price matches that, but this is a wonderful place to celebrate any special occasion.

I could have consumed the entire plate if chicken wings by myself. Bathrooms are in the rear, in a separate small building. My biggest disappointment was the cheddar biscuits. It was chewy-like, dense and arrived lukewarm. Likely reheated and the dough was probably overworked. There was no cheddar inside the biscuit but coated on the outside. It came with a few biscuits but after eating one, I couldn't eat anymore because of the texture and chewiness. The honey butter (couldn't taste any honey) didn't help either. I make and try out different cheddar biscuit recipes at home and this would be a recipe I'd toss out.
