I loved the flavors, but the fries were a little soggy (not the case at Opa), the salad was DRENCHED in dressing- way too much (not the case at Opa) and the chopped tomatoes on the salad were looking a little....pink. Nick's is one of the better Mediterranean restaurants in the greater Ashburn area, and it's definitely one of the nicer/cleaner ones. During the lunch shift, the place can sometimes feel a bit understaffed, but when your server does make their way to your table, they are warm and friendly. The complimentary pita chips and hummus certainly doesn't hurt! Their gyro is delicious and their salads are surprisingly large and of good quality. The kids' menu is fairly standard and will please most picky eaters. The prices are reasonable and servings are large. Although it can turn into more of a bar atmosphere as it gets later, for lunch or an early dinner, we've found this place very kid friendly and accommodating. read more

Great place as my family have been coming here after taking in a movie at the Brambleton theatre. I saw that I checked in here many times over the past year. But had been remiss in giving them a proper review. Food is fresh and nice to eat Mediterranean food as a refreshing change from the usual American fare, Italian and pizza places that dot the area. We loved our food the first time we ordered (about a year ago). We ordered again pretty soon after that. Was told to wait at the bar for carry out and stood there for 10 minutes of the staff ignoring me (was almost empty in the restaurant) before I was able to call someone over to help me with my carry out order. Second time we called we were told to call back later because they were too busy to take our order. Didn't call back again for awhile, but decided to give them another chance. Five seconds into our phone call the man on the phone shouted "Happy Anniversary" in my ear and then put me on hold when i asked him a quick question. Manager didn't care at all. They always get my order wrong. It drives me insane. I always double check my bag before I leave and there's almost always something wrong. The one time my husband goes to pick it up of course I forget to tell him to check to make sure the order is right. He comes home and of course it's all wrong. He also said the woman working behind the bar said "if that phone rings one more time I'm going to rip it off the wall". She was genuinely angry. I called later to let them no it was wrong and to see if our correct order was there and no one had called me back. Ridiculous. I will never go back again. Literally at the corner of Brambleton's strip mall and is a good place for happy hour deals. The bartenders are always friendly and the drinks are ok. They have good happy specials on bar food such as the seafood basket or wings. The ambiance is what you'd expect from a dark bar. We found Nicks while waiting for a movie time at the Fox theaters right behind Nicks. We have been there twice so far, and both times have been great. Best sit down restaurant hamburger I have ever had, (5 Guys still rules) but the thing that we keep talking about are the Fried Green Tomatoes, wow! Perfect. However, service has not been perfect, but not bad enough to knock it to 4 stars. We figure they just opened, and you can tell they are really trying, (the Manager jumped in to help his struggling waitress last time) must be hard to find quality wait staff so far out. Wow, this place is so pretty inside! It's hidden in the corner, so I never knew it was there until I searched for Greek food on Yelp. We stopped in for lunch and there was only one other seated table. Our meal came with complimentary hummus and pita chips. We ordered the Chicken Souvlaki Pita Wrap, the Mixed Grill, and the Greek Burger. My teenage son was confused about how to eat his burger since it came on a slice of pita bread instead of hamburger buns, but he managed just fine. He finished the whole plate. The Baklava was AMAZING. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. We felt a little underdressed because of how nice it was inside. Our server was excellent! Went here for the second time last night. I ordered the Vidalia Onion soup, which was good to start. It had tons of melted provolone on top! They had 1/2 off burgers last night which is FANTASTIC on a budget. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was great. They season the french fries with something similar to old bay so if you don't like old bay...i wouldn't recommend the fries. At the end of the meal the waitress brought over a complimentary chocolate mousse for the table to share. Overall good experience. read more

We had a party of seven on a Saturday afternoon. The waitress looked as if she hated her life and her job, always a good sign. Two of us had burgers which were actually decent. Can I have a few more fries, though? Another member of our party had a crabcake sandwich which was ok. One child had a typical chicken tender plate which wasn't terrible. My son had a grilled cheese sandwich that was pretty bad. Honestly, how can you not let a grilled cheese finish grilling? The worst plate was my wife's nachos. And sometimes they have a DJ but once I was there and the DJ played nothing but dance music-dance music with NO WORDS the entire night. Pretty disappointing BUT all the other times I was there, the music was good. We like Greek food and we were looking for a new restaurant to try on a Friday night - we found ourselves at Nick's. The ambiance is great, food looks and smells great, service is less than average. I'm giving this restaurant 1 star because approx 20 minutes after leaving the restaurant all my food came back up, pretty violently. I had a few bites of our appetizers; hummus & zucchini fritters. As my main meal I had a pasta dish that included baked macaroni/ground meat/cheese. I also had one glass of red wine. I have no idea what made me sick, but I do know I won't be returning to this restaurant.
