So happy with the changes to Nick's Corner Grill - LOVE the new Mediterranean Fare and hoping Brambleton residents and others will give it another try! Would love to see some outdoor seating as an option in the future but much improved..... read more

Hidden Gem in my neighborhood! The hummus is so fresh and yummy! Also the lamb kebabs are so tender and plentiful!!!! Many returns in our future. read more

I've been coming to Nicks for over a year and the bartenders are amazing especially Alison. I cannot wait for all the renovations that this restaurant is going to go through and make it even more inviting for a local neighborhood. Nothing like being able to walk to your neighborhood bar and see great friends & receive exceptionally good service! read more

This place is a non-chain Chili's or Fridays or the like. We went for dinner tonight after the Blue Ridge Grill's wait was over an hour. I had the tequila lime chicken linguine and he had the jambalaya, which the waiter recommended. Mine was good except the chicken tasted processed/frozen/something. The flavors were good despite the chicken. The jambalaya was tasty, but not very cajun-y. The service was attentive, so 3.5 stars with that incorporated. $50 for the meal (3 drinks) and they brought over a free cheesecake slice. read more

Had high hopes. Reviews were good, and the menu looked so yummy that I had a hard time deciding. But every dish had the same problem for everyone at my table. TOO MUCH SALT!! Now don't get me wrong, I love salt. as in, I get fast food fries and ask for extra poppable packets of salt to coat them in. But when your mouth begins to hurt, it's too much salt. The food would have been good otherwise. The kids meals, American, I know, were burnt, but this is not exclusive to Nicks.. Why do restaurants assume that because they are kids, they won't notice you messed up their food? And, growing up with a Lebanese godmother feeding me, I can't say the food was authentic, but would have been average if not for the salt issue. read more

Came in with no expectations to watch part of NCAA championships. The place was basically empty on a Monday night, except for a few bar patrons. Bartender greeted us, took our orders, both Gyro platters and gave us hummus and pita chips to start...nice treat. Hummus was extremely mild, squeezed some lemon into it, but Gyro platter was delish. Definitely worth coming back for... read more

Probably the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Ashburn area. Generous portions and very well made shawerma, and Kafta kabobs. Prices are bit high, but then it's Ashburn... In Brambleton town center not much eating options but this appears to the best. read more

BEST HUMMUS EVER. I use to live across the street and had no idea that this place even existed until I had about a month left in my apartment. It's a tad bit hidden. However, the food and service is out of this world good. I moved back home to Manassas, about 3 months ago and have already come up, just to have dinner here. (about a 40 min drive from Manassas). I can't wait to come here again, maybe after a winery visit since it is right off Ryan Road. Highly recommend Nick's !! read more

Been here at least a dozen times. The bar is great, but the food.... not so much. I just can stand the food, its never consistent. I would not eat there unless everything else is closed. read more

This a great place to eat. I love the food they serve. It's fresh and very yummy. I recommended for eat in or take out.

I'm so mad at myself for waiting a year to come here! The food and service were both outstanding. We enjoyed the gyro platters and a bunch of appetizers. Everything was great! Friendly service and good drinks rounded out the experience. Thanks for a great dinner! read more

Best Greek food in a long time. You could tell is was house made - not frozen packages from Restaurant Depot. Yummy spanikopita and gyros. Live music last Saturday was great. read more

We won't be coming back. Five of us went to lunch around 1pm. I'd asked to order something from the kids menu so I could also order soup (which would have been more expensive total than what I was going to order from the adult menu) but the kitchen told our server we couldn't order anything off the kids menu. So they ended up getting less money from us than they would have. Oh well for them. We were one of 3 or 4 tables of guests. One table of 2 ordered at the same time as we did, received their food and were able to finish before our food arrived 45 minutes after we ordered. The grilled cheese was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted, the fries were cold on all of our plates, the burger was decent, the wraps were okay and the plain chicken sandwich that was supposed to have nothing on it had everything on it. The chicken sandwich was fixed quickly. The person who ordered the grilled cheese sent it back and didn't order anything else to replace it. We didn't have time because we had to get back to work. We know it wasn't the server's fault, but the fact that one of us didn't get to eat, we were late getting back to work, and after everything, the manager didn't apologize for the cold food or long delay? We'd seen 2 or 3 of the other tables who had faster service get free pieces of cheesecake, and nothing was offered to us. That kind of topped off the whole experience. read more

Have only been once but the food was amazing! Great atmosphere and staff. The hummus was my favorite part, good beer and wine selection as well. read more

We went one night after an event and the staff didn't seem happy we were walking in at that time. It took a long time for our food (and there were hardly any people in the place). When it came, a sauce that is typically served on a dish had just a tiny bit on it. We asked for more and they came out with a cup full. We ended up getting charged $4 for the sauce that should have been on the dish in the first place! Haven't been back since and not in any rush read more

Love Nicks! They have the best hummus in the Nova area! I also had them cater gyros for my husbands birthday and it was amazing! We love to go to Nicks when they have live music! Such a fun place to be! read more

This is our favorite Greek place in the area. My wife is Greek... so we know good Greek food when we have some. Always friendly and great service. Love the free hummus and pita chips. My personal favorites are the gyro platter or lamb shank. read more

I just typed a review in detail about the wine serving and it vanished. Now I'm upset and want to speak to someone in management. Completely ridiculous of how we were patronized. I'll go back to Nick's but never order from the bar. I would rate Nick's 5 star for ambience, food, and service. read more

Before you write this place off- look at recent reviews of their new menu! Nick's is no longer a so-so American restaurant and bar- it's an authentic Mediterranean gem. One half of their ownership bought out the other half, and is now cooking delicious greek food exclusively. Delicious! Love their new menu and i have been dying for a good med. place in Brambleton and this is the perfect addition to the town center. We had the mezze sampler and mixed grille kabob the other night and were very pleased. The Kibbeh is delicious too and the bar prices are reasonable. i only wish they delivered! read more

Friendly and personable staff and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. Pretty good food.

We had a big anniversary party at our home and catered from Nick's. Our 35 guests absolutely loved the Mediterranean platters, kebab platters, hummus and salads. It was a great success and we would do it all over again. Highly recommend it! read more

Delicious chicken kabob, hummus, salad, pita!. Also the Stephen Vincent Cabernet was smooth! Service from a young man with brown hair was on point. We will be back when we are in town visiting family!! read more

Nice atmosphere. Service in the bar was good. Ordered the gyro platter. Salad was fresh but came with 1 kalamata olive. The gyro meat was tasty but over cooked and crispy. I would go again for the atmosphere and give them another chance on the food. read more

Nick's Taverna - Gyro Platter - Mediterranean Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

Nick's is a cute, cozy local hang-out. There is a nice bar and charming dining area. Food and service has always been good and food seems more authentic than some other greek restaurants we've tried. It's a bit hidden in the corner of the shoping center, but worth a visit! read more

We were in the area on a Friday night looking to try something new and heard about nicks. Love the decor, staff was attentive and the food was great. My wife loved the pita chips and hummus! Definitely will return with friends here! They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. It's a must try! read more

We were there yesterday for a work meetup on drinks. The complimentary chips and hummus was good. The beers are pricy at $7.50/draft. We felt the service was too pushy! The waiter was pushing us every few minutes to order another drink. I might try them again in a few months. read more

Great food and good service. Had the Greek burger. It was awesome! The gyro platter and the salmon plattter was delicious. If you go at 8:30, there might be live music on Saturdays. For dessert we had Galaktoboureko. You should really try it! read more

Visited the bar for a few drinks . Purchased a take out order , Gyro and fries was excellent meal. I would recommend the gyro if you eat at this establishment. The bar staff employees are professional and friendly. Very clean establishment. read more

So. My wife and I have lived in Brambleton for 2 years and used to eat at Nick's about twice a week. I loved the food and it was priced right compared to the other resturants in the area. Once the server that we really liked left, we started to notice a change. Food was not served as fast and it seemed like the servers had other priorites than getting us a hot meal in a quick fashion. In short, after visiting Nicks 3 times after our favorite server left we quit going. It had been about a year. Tonight we decided to give it a second chance, mostly because i had a craving for french onion soup that they do very well. Tonight, the server was new, forgot the specials. Then he forgot to serve us our first course. My wifes salad and my soup were no where to be found. To compound matters, both my wife and I found hairs in our meals. I really used to love this place but now i know why most of the tables are empty. The only saving grace is the price is right and the fire place is warm. read more

This is a great place to grab a burger, or a soup and salad. We went here had a great experience. The Reuben was really good and the fries are great. Nice layout, and just a place to go when you want some comfort food. I saw they had a macaroni and cheese casserole which just sounds like you have to try it! read more

Service is bad. Bad. Bad. On a slow night with 4 tables, the waitress takes FOREVER to check in, be seen etc. You get about 4 triangles of pita with the hummus. If you want more it's a $1. Really? Saganaki was really good. Hummus only OK..... and while waiting more than 10 minutes since the pita bread ran out, less and less enjoyable. Why can't another restaurant of Blue Ridge caliber join the Brambleton Town Center? read more

I had gyro and it was so so, very salty. Lamb kabobs tasted good. beer is way over priced. read more

This place is my local favorite. The food is fantastic and the pricing is reasonable. The Beef Shawarma is my go-to and the dolmades are delicious. Definitely a hidden gem in Ashburn. read more

Best Gyro I have had in a long time. Will definitely come back again. Also pleasantly surprised by the 'welcome' hummus they bring to the table when you arrive - nice touch! read more

Nick's is great - we love the chicken dishes and the salads - shrimp is also great as are all of the dips. Friendly wait staff and bartenders and they have a daily happy hour. read more

Nick's Taverna - Mediterranean Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

Awesome Food, nice astmosphere - great bang for the buck. We had 3 different Greek dinners, and we all were thrilled with the quality and quantity (lunch the next day is not a problem). As others have mentioned, it is a local gathering place/pub. It is not a fine dining, fancy restaurant experience - but for us, that was a plus. We love the 'regular'/family atmosphere combined with high quality food at a reasonable price. Will definitely be going back early and often - can't recommend it enough. read more

I was there on Wednesday night with my kids and our waitress Amanda was busy but she was still amazing. She kept our glasses full and made the kids laugh. She is truly something special. The food was great and she took care of us. Love this place. read more

The hummus and pita chip appetizer was an unexpected--and delicious treat! Not miss the gyros; they're fabulous.

Menu items are hit or miss, boardering on your average bar food. The staff is great though, very attentive and atmosphere is good. You can see they are trying and I will continue to eat here as i've never had a bad experience. read more
