Honestly I really like this place for when I'm in the area and want a little guilt-free treat! There are plenty of options and most things can be made gluten-free (the gf buns are really good). I got the Grilled Shroom Burger which was really tasty. However, the only reason I give a 4 star is that the burger (while good) was still a little lacking. The patty inside didn't seem fully cooked, there was so much lettuce I had to take some out and barely any sauce so it was just kind of dry and I feel it could have had more flavor. Although I'm saddened by the recent closure of my previous go-to Nice Burger in Costa Mesa (even writing about this recent tragedy causes my fingers to tremble), I am happy that I still held onto hope. The staff didn't seem to understand how the order system worked (they confused order # with beeper #), and I had to hunt my food down after waiting far too long. I love the food and I don't mind going to sit. But when you order for pick up, they ask you for a tip? That's ridiculous. This tipping culture is way out of control now. Cali burger (bacon cheeseburger with guac and special sauce) totally passed the taste test. Could've fooled me if I didn't know it was vegan. Nearly everything at the food hall is overpriced, with this being no exception, so just know that going into it. $14 tax included as of Sept 2023 is insane for a medium sized burger (NO SIDE OR DRINK), but I understand specialty ingredients like they use cost a premium. read more

I love Nice Burger and have gone to the Costa Mesa and Santa Ana locations for years. I was excited for an Irvine spot to reduce travel time. It's okay in person but delivery sucks! They use batch DoorDash so food is likely to be an hour or more late, like mine was yesterday. Everything was cold and unappetizing. Plus, their "Premium Spicy Chicken" is smaller and less appealing than I've ever had from Nice Burger. The Irvine location is convenient because of the selection of restaurants in the food court and the bar serves tasty beer. But, I guess I'll stick with the Costa Mesa or Santa Ana locations when I want Nice Burger. read more

Very good tasty non-meat burgers! They use Beyond (Pea-protein/Soy-free). Made to order! They also use non-GMO Rice bran oil for the fried foods, instead of seed oils. Service was very friendly! Prices were reasonable. Good portion size. Nice Burger is located in an outside food court (food hall) within a strip mall near the John Wayne airport. There is a self-serve kiosk to place your order. The cashier did take our order...and I think also made our food too. We visited on Saturday about 3PM, it wasn't busy (in-between lunch and dinner rush) and parking was plentiful. Restrooms were clean. I haven't found many great fast food vegan spots until this Burger spot popped up while we were staying at Great Wolf Lodge! The ambience was chill as we went during slow hours, but loved the ambiance in the space. Some fun family friendly music would have added to the ambiance, it we enjoyed ourselves. The burger was surprisingly tasty and pretty delicious despite the patties being thin. $11.99 plus tax for a burger, not the cheapest but not overly priced. Western bacon (forgot the name but you'll know it when you see it) the bbq sauce, crispy onion rings, and bacon is mouthwatering. Not really a bbq western kind of guy, but I'd order it again from here. 3. The spicy chicken. I had this one cold. It wasn't spicy at all and would most certainly try my hand at another pick in my next visit. The sauces they have are very tasty. Pay the .60 cents for the extra sauces just to try them all.
