I have been a client for over 10 years, yet the rude admin people there call you for a supposedly unpaid bill from 2 years ago, where they never replied to multiple problems reported in writing. As for operations, they tented my house 2 years ago and damaged walls, roof, back yard. Never returned calls, never replied to emails. Not to mention their never ending IT problems not able to send or receive emails for months, last time I dealt with them. Avoid these people. They were probably properly managed many years ago and built a reputation, but in the past 4 years, they have been a disaster to deal with. I have already taken my business elsewhere and you should too. read more

Full transparency I have not used this companies services, however I did have an interaction with one of their employees or possible owner. While driving driving on the 5 South I made a lane change using my indicator into a lane with more than adequate space. The person who was then behind me was unhappy with not being first on the freeway and proceeded to flash their brights at me. I moved over and they sped up next to me to give me the middle finger while in a Newport Exterminating company vehicle. Shocked and appalled at such unprofessional behavior I'm here with hopes to keep someone else from having to deal with this persons terribly aggressive behavior. It is my recommendation to look elsewhere. read more

I did not have my house fumigated but my next door neighbor, zero property line did on Sept 29th 2022. My plants on the side yard were trampled, pulled out and trashed. I had 2 large terracotta pots broken and a wrought iron plant stand. My gate to my yard was blocked and items behind gate were pulled away, fine, but not put back. I was left with a mess, dirt on walkway from uprooted plants. I called Newport and was "handled" in a nice way. Evidently Newport sub contracts out the tenting, etc and takes no responsibility for damages. After 2 weeks I was referred to a handler? from the company Newport subcontracted to and Abraham came out to access. He told me that my plants would eventually grow back. I, with my gardeners help worked several hours to clean up the beds and filled my trash bin overflowing with ruined plants. At this time the fumes from the tenting was killing the plants which remained. More work for me. Abraham offered me a $50 gift card to Home Depot adding insult t injury. The pots and stand were way over the amount. No compensation for the mess they left, nothing. I disagreed and stated that at the very least I would need $150. to repair some damages. Abraham said he was not authorized to release that amount but would come by the following week with a gift card and asked if I would be home. Nothing I started calling Newport back, leaving messages with no reply or follow up, It is now Nov, 7th and I am not happy or compensated. The contractors working on the house say they are not responsible, Newport Exterminators denies responsibility and the cub contractor is like , "Oh Well," I would never recommend this company for 1. They sub contract out the work, 2. will not assume responsibility for disregard to private property. I am a senior and having to clean up after this was very taxing on my body. Essentially these people destroyed my property. read more

So far, so good! I am impressed with the personnel. Ronny came to assess my situation, and he had terrific customer service skills, plus he recommended a variety of options for me to consider. He seems like a true pro, and answered all my questions. So I will be proceeding with their service and will be back to give a final assessment on YELP. Ronny and also Paula, my phone contact, made me have confidence in the company. I have used them before and they made me feel valued as a customer. Paula was very helpful and informative. I had ant problems and was told to call this company by my association. I called on Tuesday and they said that their technician was going to call me on the day that they come out to give me an approximate time. They did not call. I had to give them a call. I spoke to Dara, who was rude and had a power trip. I told her that my tenant has a young baby, and if they can come out earlier - it doesn't really matter too much to them, since they spray based on which cluster of home to do. She didn't even want to hear and gave me her condescending power trip tone "I made up the schedule"!!!! Will tell the association about them! Hope they will change companies read more

Absolutely the best ever! I've been a real estate agent since 1999. I've used Newport (Chris) over and over and over again. Always 10+! We even chose them to do the termite work on our own house (tenting). Chris is the best there is. SO knowledgeable and does his best to get you the lowest possible price. I have no idea why anyone would leave a negative review. I love them and so all the clients I send. They've all given them an A+. I think more people just leave negative posts than taking the time to write that they've had a good experience. I recommend them to everyone without hesitation!!! read more

Just called to schedule our first ant & spider treatment for a new home we are moving into. They will only confirm a time window the night before making it nearly impossible to plan a work day on such short notice. I was even prepared to discuss an annual contract with them but the operator demonstrated a complete unwillingness to cooperate and provide any time window short of "between 8 and 5". Apparently their staff's scheduling takes priority over their customers; seems the wrong way around to me. Their inflexibility and "take it or leave it" attitude on the certainly failed to earn my business today and I will be sure to tell others as well; including the realtor who recommended them. By contrast, the provider we use at our home is reliable, friendly, flexible and always willing to work with us. They have earned our business for the past 5 years! Unfortunately, they do not service the area we are moving to. Good providers who care about their customers do exist but I suggest you keep looking. This is not one you'll want to work with. read more

Newport Exterminating's level of incompetence and laziness respective to the remediation of rodents is absolutely astonishing. I've been renting my property for 6 years and this past February was the first sighting I've had of a rodent within the interior of my home. When the two technician's came out for the initial visit they spent about 5 minutes in the home and determined the rodents were coming from the exterior of the home via a drywall hole in the garage but did not determine (as they didn't look) where in the interior the rodents were entering. Their sole advice on this initial visit was that the exterior drywall hole be left open thus allowing rodents to travel from the exterior to the interior of the home unimpeded ; their reasoning as conveyed to my IAC maintenance manager, was they didn't want a rodent to die within the walls. While this defied all common sense (Andrew the owner of Rodent Control and Miguel one of the technican's from Fenn would later confirm this advice was categorically incorrect and was what led to an incident turning into an infestation) our apartment maintenance manager deferred to the Newport Exterminator's technician's advice and close to a month later what had originally started as an isolated incident with limited property damage had turned into a full blown infestation causing upwards of 5k+ in property damage with both my daughter, myself and service animal being exposed to rodent feces. As I'm immunocompromised (of which apartment management was aware of) this exposure led to multiple instances were I developed rashes, shortness of breath, etc. requiring treatment with antibiotics (doxycycline) and Medrol (steroid) dose pack. It wasn't until Rosendo (one of the maintenance staff) took the initiative to seal the drywall hole in the garage did the rodent activity slow. At this point unfortunately, they were already in the interior of the home and had nested behind the dishwasher. The infestation was finally remediated (over 2 months later) by a combination of the expertise of Fenn Exterminators and my own efforts in patching/sealing the interior of the home as directed by Fenn. Had Newport Exterminating done their job, instead of just throwing down paper glue traps (that were incredibly inhumane as the mice would lay there trapped for hours, screeching while attempting to pull themselves free), performed the expected site survey and given the correct advice to the maintenance manager the situation would have been resolved, soon after it was identified. Instead, it's nearly the end of the May and the consequences of Newport Exterminators' gross negligence and incompetence are still not fully resolved. read more

Termite spot treatment scheduled at my rental property. When scheduled, I asked them to call me 30 minutes prior so I could meet them at the address to treat termites in a garage. They were supposed to call me between noon and 2 PM. No call so I called them and was told the technician knocked on tenants doors until he found someone to open the garage for him and did the treatment. I even called this morning to double check that they would call me through 30 minutes prior and they assured me this would occur. Very unprofessional and disruptive for my tenants. I am so embarrassed. I will never use this company again. read more

No-one gets excited about getting their house fumigated, it is a necessary evil of living where we do. Dylan made the experience as painless as possible. He brought our bags over early so we would have plenty of time to pack up our food. Included with the bags was a link to a great video on everything you need to know. Dylan also took the time to explain everything to us. On the day before we received a timely phone call regarding the plan for the next day. Special thank you to the owner Mr. Good, who was present during the tenting and ensured none of our plants were crushed. When we returned home the house/property was spotless and everything cleaned up nicely. The whole process went well. read more

Dara.... You're awesome!!! Thank you for saving me from the lil critters that have turned my home into an episode of Man vs. Nature. I have used extermination services from many companies, however, this company is one that I have always come back to over and over and for good reason. (Yes that was a run on sentence, but necessary for dramatic effect). I was first introduced to this company 14 years ago since they were linked to my HOA. Over the years I have learned that not all companies are equal, and customer service is what separates them. Thanks again guys. I know you're in a tough business since everytime you do work for me, I no longer seem to need you, kinda like a bad romance. LOL. read more

I live in a relatively new neighborhood, thus we encounter dozens of spiders all the time. If a tiny part of the house hasn't been walked through for just a week, there will already be a spider web the next time you walk though. Gross!!! Because this community charges us a shitload of HOA fees, we receive a discount with Newport Exterminating since they have some kind of contract together. I paid $39 for a service that usually costs over $100. I followed the guy around the house while he was spraying an odorless chemical along the bottom of the walls. Once he finished the inside, he said he would try his best to also spray along the outside of my house. I felt pretty satisfied and was going to head back to work..but once I got in my garage, I realized he forgot to do the whole garage where there are actually the most spiders!! I thought, its ok I'll see him when he gets around to the garage & then ask him. I waited around 5 min...still no sign of him. The next thing I see is his truck driving away. WHAT A LAZY LIAR. That's all I have to say. He thought I was just going to stay in my house & never know whether or not he actually sprayed the outside of my house. Wtf? read more

My dad was looking to fumigate his home and after a long period of research decided to go with Newport. The customer service from the first call until the tent came down was outstanding. Newport staff was courteous and informed and walked him through the process so that everything was explained and understood. I stopped by on the day of the tenting and was pleasantly surprised to see Curtis, one of the owners, had shown up to do some quality control checks. You don't find that kind of service nowadays, especially from a large company. When it comes time for my house (when I finally get one) to be fumigated I will definitely be calling Newport. read more

Newport Exterminating - My dad's house under a Newport tent - Pest Control Near Me - Irvine, California

Incredible customer service - professional, knowledgeable, understanding and courteous.

We have never experienced termites in our area, despite several of our neighbors' homes going up in tents and having termite treatment routinely...or so we thought. I noticed some termites taking a spin in our bathroom and I called Chris Lupei at Newport Exterminating ASAP. He immediately made time in his schedule for an inspection and nailed all the work that needed to be done. The best part? He didn't dramatize, he didn't oversell...he made sure what needed to get done was notated and didn't try to get us to tent or go over what was necessary. Another win? Prices were affordable and within reason. Nothing that made me go hmmmm. Making an appointment for the repairs was a snap - office girls were all business and had us taken care of immediately. We had someone at our home first thing that weekend to remove all the damaged areas of our home, treat AND repair. They did an amazing job. Again, to the point and ON point. It's been almost a year and we haven't had one issue. Our repairs look fantastic and are holding up perfectly. Not a whisper of a termite to be found. I hope it stays that way, but if not....I know who I'm calling. Thank you Newport Exterminating!!! read more

I have been using this company for years. They are fast and reliable. Recently Neal helped me with a problem of rats in my attic again. He called before he arrived and explained everything very clearly to me. The price was right on point with what I was quoted on the phone. After setting traps and sealing up all entry points he cane back twice to check the traps. He also gave me a way to get ahold of him if I had any problems before his scheduled time to come. He worked with my schedule and didn't give me a huge inconvenient window of time. This was my most recent experience but it just reaffirms why I've been using this company for many years! read more

Newport Exterminating is one of the vendors used by our HOA association. I haven't had an inspection for over 10 years; so I thought it be prudent to request our prop manager to schedule a review. In doing so, Greg initially came to inspect the attic (for rodents, droppings, and the like) and any and all outside areas that may provide access. After his assessment, he scheduled a follow up - unfortunate I cannot recall the other technicians name, but just as professional and courteous. The work was scheduled to accommodate our work hours which I always appreciate and the appointment time was held promptly. After the work was completed, additional efforts were made to review the actual work done so we could see it ourselves - this is also appreciated for greater piece of mind. Overall, happy to post a review for a quality vendor for our HOA. read more

ridiculously slow response, doesn't care about urgency of my situation. had termites in my room for over 1 week, took them nearly a week to give a report after a 5 minute "inspection" at my house and claims they are fully booked so now I have to wait another week to get the job done. worst termite exterminator out there. read more

This is a review for the admin staff and their extreme unresponsiveness. The only reason I have to use them is because my HOA uses them. They came to take care of termites (exterminator was nice) and drilled holes in my door panel and treated it. They patched the whole with white putty but my door frame is brown and I asked them/HOA who would take care of it. A few weeks later I see my entire door frame (where it was treated) is replaced. But no one will respond for weeks with several follow-ups as to tell me why this happened, what this replacement was for, and what the current state of my termite situation looks like. read more

I first used Dewey for Irvine area and they were HORRIBLE. I then went through the company my HOA uses, which is Newport Exterminating and had a much better experience. I scheduled with them about 5 weeks out. The guy who took the original call said I would get a call a day before on what to expect and how to prepare. The day before came and I got no call the first half of the day so I went ahead and called them. The lady picked up and said oh you will get called tomorrow morning since the technician does not have his schedule until the day of. I said I was told I was going to be called today and I do not know even how to prepare and if he is coming first thing than that is asking a lot of us especially if we have to take anything out of the kitchen etc/ She said oh I will email you out a list of things to do. I said I am glad I mentioned this. She said that I will get a call tomorrow at 8am. I said okay, but that is really pushing it. She said he will be there between 8 and 4:00 though. This was terrible at this point. The next day came and of course no call. I called at nine and said what is going on. With work and all, I need to know what you guys are doing. What does it take for you guys to do what you say you are going to do. The lady said she would try to the tech on the line but THEY DO NOT answer their phone during the day since they are busy. I am like is this a joke. She said she would call me back. Two hours go by and I call again since again I got no call and she said oh I am so sorry I forgot. She said she would call me back. She did not. This went on a few times with me always calling. (since I took everything out of the kitchen and bathrooms I wanted to get this done). She went on to say they never arrive after 4 so she was sure the tech would arrive by that time. I called her at 410 saying no one is here. She called an area manager who said someone would still come but it may be around 5. At 530 I get a call from a tech who stated that he can still come but it may be another hour. --I was beyond pissed already and I told him no way I will just tell the HOA who referred this company to me about my experience--- The worst... I would not want them in my home even if they pay me. read more

I really wouldn't recommend Newport Exterminating. You can use them for 25 years to allegedly protect your house from roaches and ants and you'll still end up having them.
