Coffee shouldn't be this complicated. These are my last 3 experiences at this store. #1. I walk in store to buy coffee. I only have cash after I've already placed my order holding the coffee in my hand, I'm told the cash machine just went down. I was apologized to and understand things break from time to time. Another customer jumped in and put my coffee on her card and I handed her my cash. Considering this was just a broken machine of some time I left it roll off my back no big deal. #2. Some of the coffee capsules I bought had some type of a manufacturing defect. Wound up speaking with the store manager about it and she pulled out a few boxes from the back with the same "lot" number to verify my claim and show I didn't just damage them myself just for fun. Eventually I was given replacement coffee and I was on my way. #3. Going in to get my monthly refill, I patiently wait my turn.... Start working with a friendly lady and pick out what I want. I have the coffee in the bag next to me, I'm dying to try the new Guatemala beans they are featuring. All seems well in the world. Wrong. I go to pull out cash to pay for my coffee and I'm told they don't accept cash because a machine is broken. At this point it seems to be some type of a policy rather than an honestly broken cash machine. But it doesn't stop there I noticed there is literally zero signage showing they do not take cash. Not on the door, not by any of the CASH registers, nothing. I see the store manager there and think to myself surly she can help me! So I patiently wait for her to finish up with other customers. The dialogue with her is irrational at best. Somehow the focus of our conversation wound up being flipped around to make it seem as though I'm tying to get FREE coffee from her, unironically as I'm holding my money to pay in my hands. This place used to be phenomenal. Spent thousands of dollars with them. Poor management like this for a well respected multi billion dollar company is a bummer, will not be returning. read more

I'm giving 4 stars first because their google business and store locator hours are incorrect and we had to wait an hour with the sole intention of that being our only stop. They actually open at 12p. I mentioned this to one of their staff members hopefully to prevent others from having this same experience. She was super helpful in making up for the time we had to wait, went home with some 'extras' and she signed me up for the membership explaining their app would make things more convenient by tracking your order history. She also took the photos I took (see attached) to ensure it was updated. So please note they open at 12p on the weekends. read more

Great location, great service and good stock of the coffee pods. I ordered from the website but it had been over a week and no shipment. So I came here and I left with my order and sampled some delicious samples. I think this store is a great addition. I wish they sold single pods for sampling vs buying a whole sleeve. I like coming here because I feel like I'm sitting on Santa's lap in The Christmas Story. I need to know what I want and how many because if not, I'm holding up the line. If it's M-Th, I can get in and out with no stress. I applaud the Nespresso experts working here as they explain again and again the cool facts about coffee while people like me who are already in the know wait in line for our capsules and recycling bags. Any shop at the Domain is full on Saturday but Nespresso is one of the busiest. If you want special attention try a weeknight. read more

Well as usual - She wanted an espresso. Now not a Buckaroo's but a nice espresso house. So I searched away and found this place. We finally found parking, which everyone knows can be a bit tough at this monster, The Domain, but that is another review, another time, Anyway this place is an espresso machine dealer, and their machines are really slick, and the operational costs (we calculated) are very low, and their coffee for the capsules is excellent. We were treated to coffees as we chatted and really think we will get one when our current machine dies. Best of all --- Free coffee for us!! - No guarantees for you, we were surprised and you will be too. read more

Employees here are rude and judgmental. My fiancé and I went in like we do almost weekly to get more coffee pods and I felt like because we were not dressed as nice as others we got neglected. Our sales associate rushed us, would not allow us to sample a new coffee, and generally was rude. From now on I am ordering online, as dealing with parking at The Domain on top of the rude service makes me not want to return UPDATE: Nespresso USA contacted me and renewed my faith in the company's customer service. I went in to buy a new machine after my old one finally gave up (it was very well-loved). Christina and Angelina were so helpful, honest and patient as they talked me through all of the different options. I really don't mind having to go into the store to buy coffee pods when it's such a pleasant experience! (I'm too impatient to order online.) Great customer service! read more

I'm new to Austin, and I'm so glad there's a Nespresso Boutique here! Like others have said, it would be nice if it were bigger. I feel like if Nespresso can afford a massive space on Regent St. in London, they can afford a bigger space in Austin. The service was quick and friendly, which I really appreciated because of covid. read more

Sometimes they're open, sometimes there's a sign on the window that they're temporarily closed. For how long you ask? Nobody knows; they don't update their hours anywhere or post them on the door next to the closed sign so you basically have to be lucky enough to catch them when they're open, at which point there will be a line out the door. Even before COVID, their service was slow and mediocre at best. Save yourself the trouble and just order their coffee off Amazon. Even the Nespresso online store takes forever to ship now. I've been waiting almost 2 weeks for my order and completely out of coffee making my machine useless. read more

There's always a lot of people waiting and once you go in the store, there's only two people attending, trying to social distance but only using 1/2 of the store space, so there is no social distancing at all. Too much wait for coffee, I love nespresso but this boutique ain't doing things right. read more

As a New Yorker, I love my coffee, perhaps it's because growing up in a Puerto Rican family, we were given coffee in our baby bottles. SOOO, needless to say, I have coffee in my blood! Fast forward, while window shopping at the Domain, Austin, TX I bumped into the Nespresso Boutique on Century Oaks Terrace. What a delight it was to meet Ashley, who was very welcoming and so knowledgeable on the topic of Nespresso products. Not only did she educate me on the different Nespresso coffee machines but the different countries the coffees are sources from. Puerto Rico being one of them. This of course piqued my interest for indeed it helps the island and others in need of financial footing. (P.R., Hurricane Maria, 2017, destroyed many of the crop growers). What was more impressive was the cutting of their carbon footprint by the pods they use and the return policy of these pods. I had the pleasure to a taste test, which was OUTSTANDING! This truly is great tasting coffee!! Eventually, Cory came over and joined in on the conversation. The impression I got from these two employees besides them intimately knowing their topic of Nespresso, was that they genuinely seem sincerely happy doing their jobs. (Imagine that in this day and age). I truly believe this company has true treasures in them both! It really was time well spent learning and tasting. Rude employees, they make you feel like you can't ask questions. No one is welcoming. They really need to treat their customers better. Every time I go in it's not busy so there's no excuse to be so short with customers. read more

I love my nespresso machine and there coffee but 3 times now I have gone in the store and the employees are just rude. They don't bother to greet you or let you know someone will Be with you so you just have to wait till they pop out and they don't even bother asking who was there first. Today I was completely ignored and someone who walked in after me was helped first. I heard the customer tell the employee "she was here first" and the employee responded with "well she wasn't even in line". Neither was the other customer who she helped over me. Then she took her sweet time before helping me. This isn't the first time this happens. I always try to be patient and understand when they have a lot Of customers but they didn't today. The lady's who work here are always so snobby and I notice they attend the customers who are better dressed first. It's a freaking coffee store you work at. Calm down with the attitude. Your not better than anyone else. Love the coffee but order online. I will no longer be coming here all thanks to the lady who was there today. read more

Heather, Nicole and Shanice couldn't have been more thoughtful, helpful and responsive during my visit today. I came in with a challenge. Nicole immediately helped me to to diagnose the problem, Shanice helped address it and Heather went above and beyond to ensure that I left as a happy Nespresso customer. Many high end products have good quality -- but it's the service and attention to complete customer satisfaction that keep you coming back. I've always liked the Nespresso product (ahem used to go to Starbucks 6 times a week and now never go there) but now am a loyal life long customer because of their help. Bought my new machine at the Nespresso Boutique at Austin. Got home and realized I was shorted a sleeve of pods I wanted the most. Overall the customer service was not as great as what I've gotten at previous Nespresso Boutiques in the US, but I am giving them a slight pass on that since it's during Covid. read more

I agree with the other reviews I've seen on here. The sales associates are extremely rude. I've been here quite a few times, and every time I've come in I have been ignored, rudely pushed aside or rushed. In particular, one of the sales associates named Lisa completely ignored my mother and I and treated us with such disrespect and even contempt. Today, I went in to buy capsules with my boyfriend and the woman who helped us was extremely impatient. She was so quickly rushing us along we burned our tongues on the hot coffee samples she reluctantly brewed us (she first had asked us to just share a coffee) as she said, "in the interest of time can we move this along and make a decision?" Yikes? Horrible customer service and extremely rude employees, which is so sad when we love the coffee. Coming in to get coffee is a horrible and disappointing experience. read more

What can I say about Nespresso? The coffee sells itself. I have pretty much replaced all coffee shops. I even bought a travel mini one. I may sound partial, but I love all their coffee's and expressos. The holiday flavors are the best. So if you love them SToCK UP! They usually won't return as they come up with new flavors each year. read more

I am not a coffee drinker but was buying some coffee for my wife since she had mentioned a few flavors she really liked but wasnt able to make it to the store to look. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly and there were a bunch of staff members eagerly helping customers. When it was my turn, Tony assisted me and it was a great experience. I told him what I was looking for and he was able to get my items quickly and even set up an account for my wife to make things easy. I am not a coffee drinker anymore (caffeine related) but if there is a decaf I can handle, I just might come back in here to try it out. Thanks for the help Tony! read more

I have to concur with what others have said. The sales associates do seem to judge customers based on appearances. Perhaps the service we received was subpar because of the clothing we wore or maybe even the color of my skin, I'm not sure. From the snobby attitudes to the male sales associate repeatedly brushing past me intentionally, it was all horrible and uncomfortable. Although I liked the convenience of being able to buy and take home capsules the same day, I will likely buy them online as this store has left a very bad impression. We've also purchased from the boutique in Dallas but did not encounter the same distasteful experience. read more

I tried to exchange 8 sleeves of coffee for a different flavor but was told there's a 30 day return policy. I live over 58 miles from the store, I purchased the coffee at the end of April, which is the time Covid-19 disrupted the entire United States. It is now July 16 and the first time I am able to drive 58 miles to get this coffee exchanged for something that I will actually drink and enjoy. The manager at the Austin Texas Domain location refused to accept the 8 sleeves of coffee to exchange and said it's because of the 30 day return policy. These are not normal times we live in, due to the Covid-19 PANDEMIC & there should be some level of understanding for retail return policies. I supported Nespresso during times of no PANDEMIC, the minimum Nespresso could do is allow some flexibility for exchanges! The acting manager did not offer any kind of help or solution for my request. She just said sorry it's our policy. I have loved my Nespresso coffee and the customer service but after today's experience I'm not going to continue purchasing coffee from Nespresso. I will tell everyone I know to avoid supporting this company. read more

I have been a customer of Nespresso since 2013. I have been ordering coffee since then. It's been pretty straightforward until December. They shipped the wrong items. I spent one hour (!) on the phone trying to the process down so I could return the DECAF pods worth $175. It was going to take one week before they would send me a UPS shipping label. I did not receive it. So I called back and spent another hour on the phone (was told that there was no manager available for me to speak to) and was told that they would send another UPS label and that we would be credited once they had processed the shipment. So I waited for the label and sent the $175 worth of pods back. One month later, I still hadn't been credited. After 30 more minutes on the phone, they agreed that they would credit my account because they HAD received the pods, some time back. I was hoping to read great reviews of the boutique so that I would NEVER have to use the shipment process again. HOW can this company have service that does not align with their brand? Beautiful store, delicious coffee. And People who just don't give a darn. And I guess the managers of those people don't give a darn either. This is not good for the environment either. I've been here several times to get coffee for my Pixie. I love the reserved spots so you can dash in and out to pick up orders. I try to place orders on line and then pick them up so I can get in and out quickly and don't have to deal with annoying traffic in the Domain area. Everyone I have worked with at this shop has be very pleasant and professional, and have helped me quickly when I just wanted to pick up my order, but took time to offer me samples when I wandered around and placed the order while I was there. Its over 30 miles round trip for me from home, but I prefer to order and pick up than have it shipped. I also like the option of taking my pods there for recycling, rather than shipping them UPS. read more

This review is for nepresso in general.. terrible customer service. We have a machine a little over a year old, well maintained that makes a horrible sounds... even after descaling. I called customer service and their answer was i could have a call to trouble shoot or ship it back which would take 2-4 weeks! Not sure anyone wants to wait that long for coffee... as a customer fir well over 15 years it's not the answer i want to hear! I was shocked when I went to my pantry this morning only to find (*gasp!) I was out of Vertuoline Nespresso pods! Seriously thought I had a stockpile, yet was forced to haul out the ol' french press as backup caffeination source today. Thusly, I figured i'd stop by the Domain's Nespresso boutique shop on my way home to replenish my supply, however upon walking in and kind of standing awkwardly for a few minutes while the employees at the sample bar/back counter just chatted away with one another (no other customers present) and even after glancing at me still didn't even offer a word of greeting or guidance (was it my yoga attire, or look of bewilderment at all the machines and pod offerings around the store making me seem out of place?) I elected to scoot right on out of there. Will simply go back to french press for the next few days while I await my (customer service friendly) nespresso.com delivery of new pods. Sad. read more
