Everything was great. The ambiance, the staff and of course, the food. Full bar inside and outside. The morning we were there live entertainment was outside as well. The next morning, on our way back to Atlanta, we went there again for breakfast. Can't wait to go back. read more

By far the worst South Carolina restaurant I've been to. Was busy and understaffed. Took so long to get a drink and never got a menu until 2 hours into it and it was thrown at me. No apology for the late response either. I will never recommend or patronize this place again. I've been to over 100 restaurants in South Carolina and this was the worst of them all. Nuff said read more

Enjoyed a delicious dinner of fried green tomatoes to start and scallops for dinner. Sat at the bar and had a lovely evening!

Went to the oyster roast it was so much fun. The full bucket was delicious as well as the steamed shrimp by the 1/2 lb. I sat at the bar inside and Paul the bartender was great. The patrons at the bar were fun to converse with. So glad I took the chance on the special event can't wait until they do it again. Hopefully the weather will be warmer so I can sit outside and enjoy the live music. read more

Nectar is always reliably excellent. Both the Bluffton and HHI locations have a great vibe and ambiance. They have one of the best breakfast menus in the low country and I love their sweet potato biscuits and grits that accompany their omelettes. In addition, they have my all time favorite spicy chicken sandwich with no close second. read more

Lovely. Fresh food. Nice atmosphere. A good choice for a lunch experience in old town Bluffton.

The honey bun is freaking huge and so delish. I got the eggs Benedict and it was also amazing. The food came out super fast. I paired my food with an espresso martini with baileys and again, it was delicious! Great service, great food. Outside seating is sweet on a not so hot day. Parking was super easy with the gravel lot to the right of it if you're looking at it! read more

Usually a great place to go! Just don't go there on or around a holiday! They'll have the "B" team in there. Poor service. Under cooked fish and buggy salad. To be fair, this is still a good restaurant. They just had a "off" night. In the end the Nectar management made it right. And we did tip our server. Maybe we'll go back sometime in the future read more

We had brunch at nectar after a soccer game, everything was great. Jake was our server and he provided excellent service throughout our meal. Table favorites included: Super Dave Sandwich, Kitchen Sink Bowl, and the Country Fried Steak. The gravy is to die for! read more

The food service and ambiance was great. I had the belgian waffle and my husband the southern breakfast. He is still talking about the biscuit! We'll definitely be back read more

We ordered Eggs Benedict yesterday. The dish came on one english muffin, 2 inches of cold shaved ham, two poached eggs and thickly drizzled mustard on top of the eggs. Someone needs to go to cooking school--last time I checked Eggs Benedict is made with cooked Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce, made with whole egg yolks, butter and lemon juice. We promptly returned the dishes as inedible after verifying it was indeed mustard and not hollandaise. What an insult. We will not return to this establishment. (Need to stick to Montage Palmetto Bluff when dining out in Bluffton. Get what you pay for. Always quality, always spot on, never a waste of hard earned money). read more

I loved our visit to Nectar Farm Kitchen. We had six-year-old twins with us who loved the color on menu. The waitress was very gracious, and hung the pictures they colored and proudly gave to her. She even gave them an extra so they could carry to mom. They both say she was their friend. Besides the stellar service we had there, we loved the food. I loved my mushroom burger and my husband got a veggie bowl that was so good! I wish we had gotten pictures but we were having a great time and forgot... read more

In a word: too sweet. We started with 2 special cocktails. Both were too sweet. I sent mine back for a glass of sauvignon blanc. The wine wasn't chilled. I think they opened a bottle from stock that hadn't been chilled. I had catch of the day swordfish prepared with peach BbQ sauce, served with mashed potatoes and veggies. The highlight was those potatoes. Delicious. I think my individual serving contained a full stick of butter. Just decadent. The peach BBQ sauce was sweet with no complexity. I expected a bit of sweet and some hot. It was just all sweet with no finish. We also got the hanger steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was good, cooked a perfect medium, but it was covered with a sweet butter. What's up with all the sweet? I wanted this place to be great. It wasn't. I'll try again in case I just got an off night, but next time I'll request all sauces/butter toppings on the side. One other quick note. We went on a Sunday night. They were out of several mains. Maybe that's not a problem earlier in the weekend. read more

Don't do it. 45 minute wait to receive salads which of course entree came out 2mins later. No bread basket, butter or bar order Small portions with literally. 7 French fries as a side. Skip it! read more

Rude hostess and never in my life have I ever with a reservation had such a hard time to get a different table that was open!! Went to Bennies on Hilton head Island great service and food after walking out! With the amount of restaurants in the area no need to be treated like this ! read more

Take a step back into time to find a beautiful small town with old school charm they call Bluffton South Carolina. While you're there you MUST try Nectar, it's inviting and beautiful landscaping with beautiful decor outside set the tone for a wonderful experience. The inside is just as beautiful with a great bee-vibe but tastefully done. The best part of it all was the luck we got by having Paige as our waitress, very friendly and gave a little special attention to everyone at the table (we had 6 of us) She answered our questions and without asking made some suggestions for the group. Have honest opinions on food and drinks and was an overall pleasure. The table is set for a wonderful meal from the walk in, the inside decor with a wonderful waitress AND booooom the food topped all expectations, absolutely delicious. All 6 meals got a 5 star!!!! It's a must visit on your way into HH island or if you're in the area. It was such a pleasant surprise and we will be back again. We had breakfast but the lunch and dinner menu looked fabulous also. They have a HUGE outside patio and bar area that make it look like a great evening spot for dinner outside. They also had a bar inside with every cocktail you could imagine PLUS an expresso bar for all your favorite coffee drinks. I wish this farm to table restaurant was in Granville Ohio or a similar town, would fit perfectly read more

Service was very slow. Sat at table. Almost 5 minutes before anyone came by with menus. Other five minutes before we saw a waiter. Then almost 10 minutes before she took our order. Food was very good but not worth the wait. By the way. This was a lunch crowd and not even that busy. read more

Not sure why this place is so many mixed reviews it looks like but I will definitely highly rated place up. Their coffee is out of this world the food is the best I've had in a long time. Especially since I've been in the south now and I will definitely come back here when I get the chance. read more

What an amazing breakfast. I had the loaded bowl. It was fabulous. I also ordered the sweet potato biscuit. Delicious. I highly recommend . read more

I thought the food was good but it didn't wow me, especially not for what it cost. I wasn't impressed with the waitstaff. It had less to do with their ability and more to do with their attitude. I don't understand people who can't bother to smile at least part of the time. My guest and I both felt out of sorts in the restaurant and haven't felt the need to go back. read more

You won't stop going back. The atmosphere is wonderful! The food is a wide variety you will always find something new to try on the menu. Also for me the bar was a plus. read more

We came in for dinner. We were here a few years ago and really liked it, but last night's dinner was odd. 1) we ordered a couple of appetizers and only one was right. 2) For dinner, two people ordered a bowl and liked it. One person ordered the shrimp and grits. The shrimp was really small and there were six of them. 3) I ordered a salad and "peel and eat shrimp" off the happy hour menu. As soon as they set the shrimp down, I said "oh I ordered peel and eat shrimp." The food runner said that was it. They were peeled with no shell or tail, and sitting in some sort of tomato cream based sauce. We were all so confused. So when our server checked on us, I again said "I ordered the peel and eat shrimp." She said "yeah, that's how we serve them." So I asked for shrimp that was steamed instead? They got that out (and it was peel and eat with butter and lemon) but everyone was all done with their meals. When the check came, they took off the first not-peel-and-eat shrimp and charged for the steamer "peel and eat" shrimp, which was $7 more. It was all so odd. read more

First time at this location - same Rating as the one on HHI - 5 stars! Atmosphere is great. Service was solid - and most importantly, the food was awesome. Late lunch - got the tomato and bacon sandwich (elevated BLT). Fantastic. Fries were awesome as well. Also got the chicken and waffles. Amazing. Love this place. read more

Cute atmosphere, great location. Great looking menu. Cute gift shop inside. Food left something to be desired, though. Salad was decent, butter bean burger was not decent. Mac 'n cheese likewise was just ok. I would still return here because of the location and there are lots of other things to try, but overall left unenthused about the food. read more

Group of us stopped by on a Tuesday before flying out of Savannah. Fantastic food, great service and very nice place overall. I am amazed (and shame on me for not taking a picture) how awesome the fried bologna sandwich is! I got it with scrambled eggs (i dont think it need an egg at all). Outstanding sandwich- cant wait to go back read more

Very yummy. Good service. Small place and parking is a problem. Will return if in the area.

This place was amazing. I am a very picky eater and I didn't have one complaint. Everything we had was excellent. We had, our sea island stew, nectar salad, root beer braised short rib and a kids pancake. If you order any of those, I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you to our server, reed who gave us fantastic service and recommended the best dishes for us. We were staying in the Rv park and wish we discovered this gem on our first day and not out last. read more

Just 3 stars. The food was quite tasty, but overpriced, and the service was slow. We ordered donuts and our server came back with plates for them 5 minutes later after we had devoured them. Our server said she would bring jam for our cornbread, but I had to ask for both butter and jam which came about ten minutes later. We had to wait another 10 minutes for a box and our check even though our server passed us multiple times. The food was good, but not up to the level that was being charged. The best thing was the sweet potato pancakes. Probably would not come again. read more

I was told this place was great. its not. simple things cant be accomplished here. rice not cooked crunchy hard. steak not cooked as ordered. sangria worst i ever had not sure what it was. when i say to the wife the vegetables were great and best part of the meal she laughed because i never eat the vegetables anywhere. wish it would have worked out of the 3 meals we had it was 2 strikes. they closed the HH location hmmm not shocked im giving 2 stars become the crab cake was good read more

Healthy offerings and delicious flavorings. Love grain bowl with Brussels Sprouts. Highly recommend

We had a lovely dinner here. Everything was very good and the staff was very friendly, personable and attentive. We appreciated the way the classics were done with a unique spin. Especially loved the deviled eggs, fried chicken, & cioppino. The outdoor patio makes for a great evening vibe. Loved it! read more

On our first visit we had a wonderful experience. For our meals, the fish was cooked perfectly and the steak really was medium rare, just as requested. The venue is comfortable and casual, dining available both inside and out. For us, the best part was Reagan, our server and personal guide in a very very good restaurant. She was so personable, attentive and ready to recommend when asked. read more

So, we had two visits to Nectar today. First was hands down 4 plus stars! However, we came back based on our first experience to the opposite. Perhaps, because it was a pick up order this time but the order was wrong and the food was super salty and not what we expected. 1. Soup we ordered was the seafood oppose to Ministroni which was very salty and could not eat. 2. The main courses were also salty as well. I'm not sure what happened here but it was like visiting two different restaurants. It was bit busy the second time around but not enough to where it could or should effect the food quality. We really wanted this restaurant to be our go to while we're staying here for the week. So disappointed not to mention the online pick up order of 50 bucks and 18% tip to hand me a bag of food that wasn't eatable. I'm bummed and regret going there the second time in one day? read more

Awesome brunch! The staff and service was top notch. The spicy bloody Mary even came with a beer chaser.

They would not seat us without a reservation - said we could wait at the bar and they would give us a table as soon as one was available. I remarked that half the tables in the restaurant were empty and they told me those were all for reservations. We sat at the bar - empty table directly across from us. Ordered drinks and appetizers. After a half hour, they came and offered to seat us at the empty table we'd been staring at since we got there. Super weird and seemingly unnecessary. Perhaps the staff up front need some extra training in managing the dining room. BUT then we asked our waitress for recommendations and she said "I can't really give you any because I don't like seafood." OMG. My wife asked for her food to be made without butter - this was completely ignored and it was drenched in butter. Maybe this place could be great but definitely some room for improvement. For the price, the experience sure had a lot of things wrong with it. read more
