Carlos came out and provided 2 different quotes, one for full replacement and another one for replacing only a portion to include upgrading all the vents. I wasn't expecting that but after consideration, I thought that was the best option. We scheduled the repair and they were prompt, professional, and clean. His team came out on time and worked like a machine to complete in one day. They cleaned up after they were done and then the foreman came out same day to inspect and perform quality control. Aside from saving me thousands on our options, I was very impressed with SoCal from start to finish. I would highly recommend their services.

I really wanted to give this company 5 stars because of Jose, the foreman. He was amazing to work with, attentative, and prompt. Salt of the earth! Carlos, the owner, was also amazing, prompt, straightforward, knowledgeable. They did an amazing job on my roof. Roof itself 5/5. No complaints. However, I do believe the job and the service itself is 3 stars. Not bad but not amazing. I ended up walking away from this experience just kind of meh but wanted to share my honest thoughts so it'll help others. That being said, there were a couple hiccups that happened along the way. No one contacted me prior to the day of my start date/roof removal. The office manager kind of chucked it as the person who supposed to let me know was out sick. They require someone be home to sign off on the work so not letting me know seemed off.. Not a peep about what time theyll be arriving, what to expect. Etc. Yes, they walk you through this process during quotation but thats about 4 to 6 weeks out before the actual day. They also didnt let me know which day or what time. I had to reach out myself multiple times. The team is quick but I also think their speed leaves them a bit careless. After they were done, I was left with a patched ceiling (beautifully patched but I feel like shouldn't have happened in the first place), kitchen/outdoor light that no longer works, loose recessed lighting,, and plumbing leak. They also let you know and disclose that things may break since theres pressure on the roof. Its in the contract but it highlights loose items and such... but realistically, not electrical going out or plumbing leaks based on what ive learned from others and neighbors. I also had my plumbing inspected and redone in September 2024. Now, im not saying they were at fault and that theyre to blame. It could just be my luck that it happened exactly on the day they were up on my roof after living here over a year. Also, very minor but there were trash left around that my inspector found. They were accomodating on making things right although they started to be a little short with me towards the end. I really considered referring them to other friends who needed their roofing done but not sure if my confidence is there if theyll be spending $$$ for an ok experience.

All 3 of the quotes were within a $2k spread, but Keith's came in the lowest. What really stood out as part of the decision was his knowledge, attention to detail, and prior experience working on the same type of roof as mine. In addition to standard shingles, my home includes a permitted sunroom with an aluminum panel roof that had been leaking. Bottom Dollar Roofing was the only company willing to address this as part of the project. Keith's team cleaned and sealed the aluminum roof, and it has held up with no leaks, even through the most recent heavy rainstorm. The process was smooth from the start. Only a small deposit was required to get on the schedule, and Jill in the office kept me informed throughout, especially regarding weather-related scheduling updates. She also provided helpful guidance during the color selection process, including a list of nearby completed homes with color choices I was considering, so I could drive by to see them in person. That made a big difference in choosing with confidence. Keith's crew was professional and detail-oriented. They kept the job site clean each day, removing debris and nails from the surrounding area. The work was completed on schedule, and the quality was excellent. They also repaired weather-damaged plywood and ensured the existing structure was brought up to code. Any potential additional repair costs were clearly outlined in the initial quote, so there were no surprises (though, as expected, some issues only became visible once the old roofing materials were removed). I highly recommend including Keith and Bottom Dollar Roofing in your vendor selection process. We're very satisfied with the results, and the new roof looks great.

We had finalized what work we were going to do and then suddenly they stopped responding all together. No one answered the phone or replied to emails. Response to the owner's reply: I am well aware there was no contractual agreement, I never said that there was, otherwise a breach of contract would have occurred. I am conveying it is not good business to ignore customers. It could have been a simple response that you were not taking on new customers, instead of ignoring all contact.

Dave was prompt in responding to my Yelp inquiry and got me scheduled within just two days. He was very punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and honest throughout the entire process- from the first contact to the last. I received an inspection and estimate on a water leak from the wall near the window and upon his thorough inspection of inside, outside, above the home with a drone, Dave came to a conclusion that it was most likely related to the window itself. He spent his time explaining his findings and going over the condition of the roof which demonstrated his knowledge and expertise. He told me to do a water challenge test from outside the window since he'd rather do the least invasive thing first, rather than go straight to the roof since he didn't see anything visibly wrong with the roof. Within 48 hours of the inspection he emailed me photos of the roof that he took with his drone and an estimate of the roof repair if I were to need it. Dave was a pleasure to work with and he will definitely be the person I contact and refer to others when there is ever a need for any roof work!

Some was so bad that you could literally see exposed underlayment. I was only able to catch this due to a bathroom window I have that just happen to overlook it. If I got the work done on a different part of the roof, probably would never have noticed. And would never be able to call them to address it, so keep that in mind. What's worse is that since the roof work there was no major rain for 16 month, which is outside of the 12 month warranty. So I guess if you never put their roof to the test against mother nature then I guess it's perfect service. But the first time it's suppose to do its job it fails to do so. At this point I'm not sure what they did mess up my tiles and take my money for the privilege. I would literally be in a better position had I not paid them to do "work" on my roof. I tried contacting them several times and met with the cold shoulder. I'm probably just going to eat my losses here but if you're considering them, just be warned. Or make sure it rains in the warranty period!

If you have an older roof, I would budget an added 20%-30% on top of the initial bid price to leave room for any deck repairs and additional tile replacements that maybe needed.
