Got a a quote from them a few months ago, and they did seem pretty knowledgeable. The price was fair. We had finalized what work we were going to do and then suddenly they stopped responding all together. No one answered the phone or replied to emails. I tried multiple times in a span of a month to try to get in contact with them without success. Ended up choosing another company, who was much more responsive. Response to the owner's reply: I am well aware there was no contractual agreement, I never said that there was, otherwise a breach of contract would have occurred. I am conveying it is not good business to ignore customers. It could have been a simple response that you were not taking on new customers, instead of ignoring all contact. read more

Started with an inital inspection on 11/26. Manny sent a quotation on 12/03. We meet up on for a follow up appointment to discuss scope of work to be done on 12/13. After followup appointment, Manny said work can be started on the week of Christmas for 4 days. I confirmed for Manny to send over the contract to be signed so we can get started. I call on 12/17 to see what is the hold up on the contract. No response from either Manny or Manuel after numerous calls. Manuel finally responds on 12/19 to say we are booked through the month of December?!?! Truly unprofessional and given the run around. Had a leak on my roof for a while, never found a creditable roofer until I was referred to Manuel (Manny) at Markeasy. I had my entire roof repapered so the crew had to remove all tiles, lay the asphalt and put the tiles back. Manny's crew is the best, BAR NONE as they got the whole project done in about 4-5 days in 100+ degree weather and even got the inspector from the city of Chino Hills out a day after. We've been having leaking issues on the same side of the roof for many years. Former roofer always patched things up, basically guess work. Then one day, he just didn't return anymore calls. Our roof defeated him. LOL! We didn't want to guess anymore, and decided to do the entire roof. We did our due diligence getting quotes from companies with good yelp reviews. We felt MarkEasy was extremely fair out the gate. We also contemplated between traditional felt and synthetic, and we were hoping they'd lean us one way or the other, and they did not. They do zero upselling, no pressure at all. So do your own research, and know what you want. Their crew showed up 7:20am sharp every morning, banging away, for 6 straight days and never left till it was dark. After every work day, they spent the time cleaning up too. There were some aesthetic issues with nails going through in overhang areas, and I told Manuel, as long as it's not a functional issue, and only aesthetics, he doesn't need to send a crew, but he sent a crew anyway. So they go above and beyond. The true test will be when we get heavy rain, but after witnessing their efforts, we feel great about our decision. Plus, they guarantee their work for 10 yrs. FWIW, the final inspector said, our roof looks "nice and tight." Final advice goes without saying, get a bunch of quotes! The cheapest was in the "too good to be true" territory, and the most expensive wanted to charge us 2.5x more than MarkEasy. That would have required taking out a home equity loan, and I highly doubt their crew would have done anything 2.5x better. MarkEasy is a keeper, and will be getting all my referrals. read more

Manuel is very professional, responsive and provides detailed work. He also consistently sent 3 workers everyday for a week to complete the job. Just completed the re-roofing on a 2-story tile roof. Manuel replaced over 20-sheets of bad plywood, 50+ feet of fascia board and everything turned out great. He always answer my calls and comes on time when he said he would. This is the 2nd time I've use Markeasy roofing. First was on my other house on a flat roof. His crew came out early everyday and leave the job site clean at the end of each working day. They even have their own portable toilet without asking me to use the house's restroom. They work hard and only takes about 15 minutes lunch break. Price is comparable to other bids. Quality work at a competitive price. Will not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommended. A wood section of my roof got rotten underneath due to the cable dish was installed on top of it years ago and the rain was seeping in to cause the damage. After thoroughly searching on Yelp, I found this company. Manuel, owner and manager returned my call quickly and setup an appointment for an estimate. He practiced social distancing and masked when we met. After inspected the damage area, he explained clearly what he was going to do to fix it and gave me the quote. Very reasonable price, indeed. After he set a date and time, he showed up as expected (very good communication too. He texted to let me know if he's running late). With a crew of 3, they quickly fixed the issue and cleaned up the area spotless. While up in the roof for final inspection and applied sealant to the vents, he found a broken tile and quickly replaced without extra charge.
