They reused the tiles and installed the plywood decking and underlayment, and replaced rotten wood. It was during a 2week period of rain. I made my deposit and the day after the rain stopped Prestige started the work and had it all completely done in 4days! Received great service from Prestige roofing. This year, I had to replace my flat part of the roof and was having some of the fascia wood damaged by water and termites. Did my research and got several quotes from various companies. The owner (Francisco) gave a very reasonable quote for the work. My flat roof was about 1200 sq ft. They replaced the entire roof in several days, replaced much of the fascia wood and primed it all (haven't decided what color paint yet). I felt that this company was honest with pricing and reasonable. So many people are taking advantage of insurance companies demanding major repairs that may or may not be needed and there are a lot of roofing companies that are overcharging for work. Overall, Presting Roofing did a great job. The entire job was completed within several days. The crew were all so nice. Communication could have been better, as somone else mentioned in another review. We were contacted the afternoon prior asking if the next day would be okay to start. From there, we needed to have decided what color tiles for the city permit information. We had to choose and change the color a few times based on what our city would approve. I wish the process could have been outlined better in order to be more prepared. I had to run out before work one day to buy the paint for the wood that would be placed that day. However, Francisco was easy to get a hold of if there were any questions and the office (Aracely) was very helpful with any questions or asking Francisco for us and getting back to us. I wish the estimate for the additional cost of the wood not covered was more accurate. It ended up being over the upper range of the estimate given. We had a serious leak on our flat roof yesterday and today. We called our regular roofer. They sent someone out eventually who worked for 1 1/2 hours and totally clogged the drain so the problem was worse that when we called. So I called Prestige after reading the reviews on Yelp. Francisco came out within two hours. In 15?minutes, he had unclogged the drain. There was beginning to be inside damage. Once the rain stops we will have him back to assess damage and do what is necessary. We strongly recommend Prestige Roofing. read more

Flat garage roof was in serious condition. Francisco and his crew were very professional. They replaced plywood and fascia that was rotted out. They worked very fast and the quote I was given was very reasonable. I think the peel & stick torch with final silicon coat is the way to go. My experience with Francisco, his office staff and his whole crew was exceptional! My old roof was 1976 wood shake with a layer of shingles on top so the job scope included all new plywood decking which certainly made the job more expensive, but Prestige Roofing had very competitive pricing (I had quotes from 5 vendors) and the job was completed without any surprises or markups. I selected the GAF Timberline HDZ RS reflector series shingles in Birchwood color which is a very attractive grey color to reflect the heat. I also requested O'Hagin vents and OSB radiant barrier to help with the attic heat. All said, I am very pleased with the work by Prestige Roofing. read more

My first time working with a roofing company and this will probably be the only one i work with - francisco was very knowledgeable and explained everything and gave picture updates. The price was fair and the work was thorough and great. He re-did my second story roof and gave me options of future work i could look into. We had a roof leak during this last heavy rain storm with three straight days of rain. I called Francisco and he sent someone right over in the pouring rain to put a tarp on the roof until the rain stopped. His guys took photos of where the roof needed repair, so when the storm was over he was ready to go with a very reasonable quote and had a crew over to fix it the very next day! Francisco came out to my house quickly and gave me an accurate quote on removing the skylights I assumed were leaking. The crew arrived right on time and began work right away. The discovered the real reason for my leaks, an old unused heater pipe and removed the culprit. They repaired the roof and took time to closely match the new shingles to the old. Our house needed some roof repairs due to Termite and water leak and after several quotes we decided to go with Prestige. Price was lower compared to others, but we liked best the honesty, communication, and patience from Don Francisco and team. Francisco was great to communicate with and to answer any of the questions we have, and review the options. After tearing the old tile roof we found the damage was greater than expected but Prestige Roofing was able to find all these and replace any compromised wood, put brand new underlayment even for future solar panels, retile, and power wash so it looks like brand new again! Rood looks great (they also power washed it) and feels safe now! Even the neighbors were impressed with the work, the workers' courteousness and communication, and the final product since the house needed some TLC. I contacted Francisco mid December. Tells me he will come by before new years. I take time off work and wait. No show no call. Wait a second day, same. Contact him after new years and he says he lost his phone....well you have an assistant and hopefully some way of keeping tabs on clients. Anyways, we reschedule for January 13. He comes out and we go over my concerns, I bought a new house and the report said flashings had small leak. That's it. He then went over gutter cleaning and possibly fixing tiles. I said sure if you want but I need flashings fixed. His assistant sends me a quote for $1800......the cost was for tiles and materials to replace under tiles. Nothing about flashings being sealed. There was also a charge for gutter cleaning. His assistant texts me and I explain that he didn't even go on the roof when he was here....why is he getting so many tiles to basically do a new roof if I just needed flashings done. She didn't have an answer.... I wait for an updated quote. Few days go by nothing. At this point I'm livid as there have been communication issues and I felt I was getting taken advantage of. Finally the assistant texts me saying waiting on Francisco. She then says they sent updated quote. Couldn't find it. Another day goes by and at this point it's been a month with not a single flashing fixed that would take a general contractor maybe 2 days to do. I tell her thanks, but I'm going elsewhere as this was ridiculous. I've been in high B2B sales for over 10 years....if I treated my clients the way Francisco did I'd be out of a job. Judging from the reviews on Yelp and Google, he was focusing on the bigger paying jobs which is fine, but don't tell me "I got it let's get it done". I made an appointment for an inspection of what i thought was a roof leak. The appointment was made over a week in advance and we both agreed upon a day and time frame. They called to confirm the appointment that had already been confirmed over a week prior at 445pm the day before the scheduled appointment. I was at work and couldn't respond. No further attempts were made to call me the day of and because i wasn't able to respond to the message they failed to show up. In my opinion once i have confirmed a date and time there is no further confirmation needed and i expect them to show up just as the other roofing company i contacted did, unless i cancel. Further more i booked with Prestige and the message I received was from someone from CGC. So it seems like they dont keep the work in house and they subcontract. read more
