I drove up to the house and met with Sam asking when he was starting and he said they're all up already. They blend in so well! He was able to manufacture the gutters onsite with no seams and even painted inside the gutters to hide the original aluminum color. I am so happy with my new rain gutters! I'm glad I researched Rainco on Yelp. For starters, when I first called Rainco I was quickly scheduled a site visit. Sam came out to do a walk through and take measurements. He showed me gutter shapes, downspout shapes and color options. We also discussed configurations, potential issues and how to resolve some obstructions. He showed me the shapes up against the walls for me to think it over. I had good questions and Sam had answers. I really liked how prepared and professional he was. After providing a reasonable quote he was on his way. I received another quote, without all the color options nor shape options and I was not impressed. I called Sam and gave him the thumbs up. He followed up to confirm the final details and to schedule the installation date. He also confirmed as the date got closer. Great communication! On installation day, Sam and Ozzy set up on the street with some cones since I don't have a driveway. We walked around the house for final confirmation of where downspouts would go, and they got right to it. They installed the gutters while I worked from home, and I was never interrupted. I was very impressed with how fast they went up. We did a final walk thru afterwards and I love how they look. I have referred them to other friends and even my mailman chatted up with the guys during installation. I hope they get more business out of it. I initially had a general contractor come out who tried to convince me that all my gutters needed to be replaced immediately, warning that if I didn't, I'd be facing major repairs in the near future. Thankfully, I reached out to RainCo and spoke with Brandon. He was professional and easy to talk to--he set up an appointment, let me know what time he'd arrive the day before, and showed up right on time. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and quickly pointed out that my home was built without a drip edge. He explained that without one, new gutters wouldn't fully protect my home, and he wouldn't feel comfortable offering a lifetime guarantee unless it was done right. This review is long overdue, but I still wanted to post it, as I've always felt a debt of gratitude to Sam and his crew for everything that they did for us during the course of replacing our gutters. Sam came out and spent time explaining the options for the gutter profile, and for the routing of the gutters and downspouts. Sam provided samples of the materials to be used, and I really liked the look and quality of the materials and the colors available. The color we wanted wasn't initially available in the thickness we preferred, but Sam worked with his suppliers and managed to get it for us. The estimate Sam provided was clear and the cost was very competitive with other quotes. We had good communication throughout the quoting and scheduling process. All of this was already great, but what I really became impressed with was how Sam really looked out for us to make sure the job was going to be done right once we got started. Even if it was at an inconvenience or cost to himself. An example of this was when Sam first came out to do the installation job (with his helper and whole equipment trailer) he found that our fascia had not been properly prepared, and he explained what still needed to be done. I felt terrible that Sam had made the long trip to our property and had to turn around because we weren't ready, but instead of making me feel bad or saying he would have to charge me for the trip, Sam told me to not worry about it and that he just wanted to make sure the job got done correctly. Throughout the whole job that was Sam's driving principle, and it was so nice to know that because of this I could 100% trust he would do the job the best way it could be done. The installation went great, and the gutters and downspouts all looked awesome and were routed exactly as we had agreed. At the end of the day, not only did the extra level of service not increase the price above the initial estimate, but in fact, Sam found the layout could be simplified a bit, and the final cost came in below the estimate. I can highly recommend Rainco for the quality & appearance of the materials they use, for their reasonable cost, and especially for fact that one can trust the installation will be done well, as they have the ethic of putting the customer's long-term interests above all else. read more
