I wish I could give it ZERO stars. I went with this business because of the rave reviews but I am not going to rave, I'm going to rant. I called and got a response right away. I even made an appointment. Guess what no one showed up. I called and left a message, actually two messages and no one returned my call. I can only assume this company doesn't want me as a customer. Is it because you are not going to make a huge amount of money from me? My home too small? How very rude to not even respond. After going through mold remediation we needed to have rain gutters put up to prevent any potential water damage in the future. Our roofer recommended Steve at The Rain Gutter Store. He makes SEAMLESS rain gutters out of the back of his truck! Except for the downspouts they aren't noticeable on the house. Our old house was not square and required some innovative ideas to get the drainage where it needed to go. Steve's experience came into play here and we are fully satisfied with the results. He showed up on time and did the job beyond expectations. While he might charge a tiny bit more than other contractors, we feel he was well worth it and know that he stands behind his work should we have any questions or issues. I placed an order for gutters through Lowe's a few weeks ago and at the time they informed me that they used this company as their contractor for local gutter installation in the OC area. Since that time I have had to follow up several times to inquire as to why no one has contacted me to schedule the installation. Lowe's informed me that they had left several messages for them to call their clients to schedule installations (apparently there are/were many in the same situation as me), but it would appear that The Rain Gutter Store is not interested in following up with clients or honoring the contracts they had received through Lowe's. I do not fault Lowe's for this at all, but would like to remind this company that even though the rains may be coming soon, a dry spell will surely follow and this is very poor business management/planning on your behalf. Lowe's suggested I call them directly with the hope that they may treat me differently but I declined, and then cancelled my order but again I place no blame on Lowe's. I have no interest in supporting a business like this that has no interest in basic customer service. read more

These guys are the best! When I first contacted them, Don came out and gave us a quote. We got other bids and settled on The Rain Gutter Store, partly to support a local business - but mainly because every neighbor I'd talked with said they did great work at fair prices. They finished our gutters in July last year. I called last week to ask them to come and replace a piece of downspout pipe that had been damaged and Steve said he'd let me know when they'd be working near us. I wanted to get a cost for the work because it was obviously not their issue. Within a week, they stopped by and replaced the damaged drain - as a simple service call at no charge!
