After doing a thorough evaluation, he said I do not need new gutters, rather a "tune-up" would suffice. So here I am, ready to shell out a much a larger sum of money and he talks me out of it! WHO does that? So I book the job and when the crew arrives ( Andrew, Thomas, and Paul ) they immediately go to work after I pointed out some items of concern. Changing my review to one star as my prediction was correct. Last night it rained and all the areas of concern I specifically told the to look at. Are still leaking and water is sitting on the gutters The service was done two weeks ago and was assured that even though they stayed 36 minutes for a large home all was completed as promised for a fee of $1,200. Our household first began to evaluate the pros and cons of rain gutters in 2018, and we contacted Mr. Gutter for an estimate based on the firm's positive public feedback and local recommendations. On the day of estimation, Mr. Krupp from Mr. Gutter arrived to give us samples of their gutter material, and we were impressed by the build quality. The fact that Mr. Gutter has its own specialized gutter-making vehicle to construct the material on-site was also impressive, as some other firms needed to haul in pre-made gutter that could risk poor fits. The quoted price was attractive - while not the lowest, it was attractive based on the equipment available, material quality, and work history. We decided to have Mr. Gutter do the work. On the day of work, a small crew from Mr. Gutter arrived slightly ahead of schedule, and the work was professional and efficient. The quoted length of gutter material was made on-site (at the back of a fitting van) as advertised, and they fit structure without any re-work needed. The process was smooth and within the projected time. At the time of service, we were very cautious about potential roof damage, for many locals warned that gutter work could lead to rough stepping on the roof and cause damages, but this was not an issue with Mr. Gutter, and our subsequent roof inspection (on a separate project) found it to be in good shape. Fast forward 7 years, the gutter still looks brand new in 2025, and this fall we worked with Mr. Gutter again to perform a routine maintenance, and once more Mr. Krupp arrived promptly to finish the work even faster than expected. We look forward to work with Mr. Gutter in the years ahead, for the firm's work stood the test of time (and strong Santa Ana winds all these years), and it is reassuring that the firm (and even the same person) that did the work is still around after all these years! read more

Had 5" seamless black gutters installed by Mr Gutter. The quoting was fast and about half a few other quotes I received. The install was fast and good quality, they did everything as discussed. When I had a few minor leaks during the first heavy rains. They came out, fixed eveything, verified drainage was as expected and even cleaned all of the leaves accumulated from the rain. We recently had our gutters replaced and had a great experience. I had an initial quote in the summer but did not have the job completed until the fall after some other work was done on the house. The crew was on time. After the project was completed, there was miscommunication on where one downspout was placed. They were very understanding and came out a few weeks later to fix it for no additional charge. The gutters are beautiful and I would use them again for any thing we need in the future. read more

My first encounter was with Krissy Krupp, she was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and immediately put me at ease when I asked if they could manage a custom install. I had three bids and knew that Mr Gutter was the right choice when Matt Krupp came to bid the job and explained how he could customize the problem area at my front porch. He personally modified and painted my fascia to allow for a streamline result that was perfect! All my interactions with every employee were exemplary. This review is for Mr Gutter OC. My roof tiles are terra cotta s-style that hang far over the edge of the facia boards, 2-4" over. My biggest concern was capturing most if not all of the rainfall runoff during heavy storms that we have been getting more frequently in OC. As far as my research found, residential gutter installers work with a maximum 6" gutter depth, so that didn't leave much capturing gutter space beyond the tile overhang, in some areas only a couple inches. I talked to and received estimates from 4 highly rated and I'm sure very good gutter installation companies. When they were over, I expressed my particular concern about the large tile overhang. Most of the technicians did not want to problem solve my issue beyond using the largest 6" gutter and saying, "this should handle a large downpour even with your tile overhang". One company did not prefer to work with s-tile roofs at all and would not estimate for installation to the second story roofline, only for the first story. I chose to hire Mr Gutter OC for the job. I want to thank Matt for taking the time to problem solve my concern and being willing to do the extra work that came from a different kind of solution. He suggested adding a board, 2x4, attached to the upper part of the facia along the run of the roofline that he called a kicker board, then attaching the gutter to this board. I provided the paint to match the existing facia, he got the boards and painted them to match before installation of the gutters. I chose 6" facia (angle-face) gutter shape for mostly second floor roofline only. The cost of the job was a bit higher because of the cost of the boards, painting, and installation, but I was more than happy to gain a few more inches of gutter depth from this solution. Installation was quick, the technicians were great and were not afraid to create downspouts that required a lot of angles. I love how the gutters blend with the facia. I would recommend this company for any gutter job, and especially if you have special concerns. I can't wait for the next big storm to see the gutters in action. read more

Mr. Gutter installed a new gutter on the side of our house last November. My husband and I were extremely pleased with their excellent service. We recently noticed a small leak. Matt came out to repair. I had several questions regarding the gutter on other side of my house, that gutter was not installed by Mr. Gutter. Matt did not try to sell me on new one. Said it was still good and suggested a possible fix. If the fix does not work, I will be contacting Mr. Gutter to replace. I so appreciate Matt not trying to give me a sales job on getting all new gutters. That is the kind of service that will bring us back to Mr. Gutter when we decide to replace the older ones. After the last rainstorm, my husband and I walked around to check the gutters and noticed a leak from the back corner. I called Mr. Gutter OC, as they installed our gutters two years ago, and they made an appointment with me to come out and take a look on September 5th. We agreed an additional downspout was needed in that spot. Early this morning (September 6th), Matt texted me and said he and the crew would be by to add the downspout today (September 6th), and they were here around 10:30am, checked it out, added the downspout, and also customized a long extender to drain water away from the house and into the yard. We needed to install gutter for our house given so many recent rain storms in LA lately. Contacted a few places to come and give us estimate for the project. We needed gutters as the rain splashing in front of our house off the roof was damaging our new front door. We called a few companies but decided on Mr Gutter based on the reviews and their service. Charlie came out very quickly, gave us an estimate the next day, and even worked with us to figure out where to place gutters of important areas like doorways, planter boxes etc. Once scheduled the installation team arrived right on time and were very helpful in talking through the process. The team was fast and were done in less than 4 hours for the whole house and the detached garage. The gutters look great, we were on the fence about what color to order but thankfully the blue option they have is very close to the color of our house and looks perfect! We have received a ton of compliments from neighbors and friends on how great they look. UPDATE: About 2 months after the initial install we had the first big rain. We noticed some water in the garage as the downspout did not move the water far enough away. I sent an email late Sunday night and by 8:30am the next morning the owner of the company Matt came by and installed the extension. Problem solved. I previously posted about my frustration with getting a call back from this company or my struggles to get a hold of a human being on the phone. After my yelp post, Matt, the current owner of Mr. Gutter reached out to me to rectify my complaint. He spoke to me very apologetically and professionally and explained to me that they had a change in ownership and servers. Hence, why messages weren't being saved or redirected. After the phone call, he promised to make things right! My instinct told me to trust the guy and to give him a second chance. I am so glad I did. It was nothing but smooth sailing after I made the decision to hire this company for my gutter installation. They were able to give me an electronic quote of the price of my project and I drove to their office personally (same day) to sign the contract. Matthew was even kind enough to walk me around the warehouse to show me how the gutters were made and he gave me samples of gutter size and styles to take home. I was quite fortunate that he was able to fit me in before this years rain. He came out on 11/26/2019 and did a seamless job of installation (see pictures). My 6 inch gutters look great! The true test was today, when we finally got rain in Orange County! Previous to installation of gutters, the rain will fall from the second floor to the first floor (roof) which will cause a tin can sound. I would not be able to sleep! I tried ear plugs and even noise cancelling head phones but the sound was unbearable. On some days I would only get 30 mins of sleep and have to call off work because I wasnt fit to drive! Clearly, calling off work multiple days is not an option! Today, I didn't set an alarm and woke up naturally around 10am. I was in disbelief that I slept so soundly. I even had to get up outside to look if it was raining because I was surprised I wasn't woken up by the rain. And indeed, it wasn't just raining but it was windy and raining quite heavily. These gutters already have paid for themselves in terms of sleep quality. I hear nothing on my rooftops. It's so quiet you wouldn't even know it's raining outside! Extremely professional and amazing customer focus, and most importantly, super high quality work throughout the project. Had gutters installed for first time. They were great about explaining where to install and why. I just had my gutters installed and they look great. Charlie came out to give me an estimate and we talked options and colors. He emailed me an estimate and he didn't push the larger more expensive options, but because of our tile roof extending further we decided to go with a 6" instead of 5". Matt called to schedule and I asked his opinion after sending him pics of all three options and he agreed that larger was better. I received a courtesy call that they were on there way and arriving in about 30-35 minutes. Mike and Jeff were my installers and were very nice and professional. Mike went over all the locations of the downspouts. I ended up not doing a ten foot section because of electrical boxes interfering with the downspout and was so pleased when Matt responded to my text with a price adjustment. They were done within two hours just as they expected. When Jeff started to walk across my tile roof I was surprised, not knowing they needed to go over the top, and when I told them the tiles break easily, Mike assured me that not only do they walk them all the time but that if any broke they would get them replaced.
