We needed gutters as the rain splashing in front of our house off the roof was damaging our new front door. We called a few companies but decided on Mr Gutter based on the reviews and their service. Charlie came out very quickly, gave us an estimate the next day, and even worked with us to figure out where to place gutters of important areas like doorways, planter boxes etc. Once scheduled the installation team arrived right on time and were very helpful in talking through the process. The team was fast and were done in less than 4 hours for the whole house and the detached garage. The gutters look great, we were on the fence about what color to order but thankfully the blue option they have is very close to the color of our house and looks perfect! We have received a ton of compliments from neighbors and friends on how great they look. UPDATE: About 2 months after the initial install we had the first big rain. We noticed some water in the garage as the downspout did not move the water far enough away. I sent an email late Sunday night and by 8:30am the next morning the owner of the company Matt came by and installed the extension. Problem solved. Overall I am very impressed with Mr Gutter and we are very thankful for their great work. Pricing was very fair and worth every penny! read more

I previously posted about my frustration with getting a call back from this company or my struggles to get a hold of a human being on the phone. After my yelp post, Matt, the current owner of Mr. Gutter reached out to me to rectify my complaint. He spoke to me very apologetically and professionally and explained to me that they had a change in ownership and servers. Hence, why messages weren't being saved or redirected. After the phone call, he promised to make things right! My instinct told me to trust the guy and to give him a second chance. I am so glad I did. It was nothing but smooth sailing after I made the decision to hire this company for my gutter installation. They were able to give me an electronic quote of the price of my project and I drove to their office personally (same day) to sign the contract. Matthew was even kind enough to walk me around the warehouse to show me how the gutters were made and he gave me samples of gutter size and styles to take home. I was quite fortunate that he was able to fit me in before this years rain. He came out on 11/26/2019 and did a seamless job of installation (see pictures). My 6 inch gutters look great! The true test was today, when we finally got rain in Orange County! Previous to installation of gutters, the rain will fall from the second floor to the first floor (roof) which will cause a tin can sound. I would not be able to sleep! I tried ear plugs and even noise cancelling head phones but the sound was unbearable. On some days I would only get 30 mins of sleep and have to call off work because I wasnt fit to drive! Clearly, calling off work multiple days is not an option! Today, I didn't set an alarm and woke up naturally around 10am. I was in disbelief that I slept so soundly. I even had to get up outside to look if it was raining because I was surprised I wasn't woken up by the rain. And indeed, it wasn't just raining but it was windy and raining quite heavily. These gutters already have paid for themselves in terms of sleep quality. I hear nothing on my rooftops. It's so quiet you wouldn't even know it's raining outside! I just had my gutters installed and they look great. Charlie came out to give me an estimate and we talked options and colors. He emailed me an estimate and he didn't push the larger more expensive options, but because of our tile roof extending further we decided to go with a 6" instead of 5". Matt called to schedule and I asked his opinion after sending him pics of all three options and he agreed that larger was better. I received a courtesy call that they were on there way and arriving in about 30-35 minutes. Mike and Jeff were my installers and were very nice and professional. Mike went over all the locations of the downspouts. I ended up not doing a ten foot section because of electrical boxes interfering with the downspout and was so pleased when Matt responded to my text with a price adjustment. They were done within two hours just as they expected. When Jeff started to walk across my tile roof I was surprised, not knowing they needed to go over the top, and when I told them the tiles break easily, Mike assured me that not only do they walk them all the time but that if any broke they would get them replaced. We saw all the positive reviews on yelp so we decided to have the company come out to give us an estimate. The main reason I'm giving this company a "1" is because they came to measure and prepare an estimate when we were not home. I wanted to schedule it while someone was home but he said he could easily measure it to give us an estimate. After reviewing the estimate they emailed to us we had a few questions concerning the installation and we made several calls and left several messages for the estimator and have not received a return call back. I question the level of customer service we decided to use their services. I understand our job may not be the biggest job but why haven't they called us back ????? They were able to estimate the how long it would take so I could make arrangements for my son's nap (odd detail but important to me) Matt and his team came out exactly when they said they would and everyone I interacted with was totally professional and polite. They were super fast too! (Added bonus) My backyard is basically a hill for rain to pour into and then flood and my gutters were totally backed up with debris and basically useless.
