Went in after seeing the other's review cause I had the same issue. My MacBook pro has two stripped screws that I couldn't take out and I tried two other computer repair shops in the San Gabriel Valley but none of them was able to take them out. Then I tried calling to a third place that specializes in apple computers and they said they could do that. They told me that they would come to my place and I'd have to pay by the hourly rate for the repair (a minimum of one hour charge for any repair and it would be really expensive in my case). Finally, I found ND Computers on Yelp and after reading others' reviews I found out Andy had done this before. So basically I went in and Andy told me how much it'd cost and then he took the stripped screws out in a few minutes. He charged me a very reasonable price for that, too, and he really made my day. Thank you, Andy, and thank you, Yelp! FYI He has some used Apple parts at reasonable prices such as MagSafe adapters, display assemblies, etc. I will definitely be going back for any repair and whenever I need to pick up some used parts. read more

Wow, feel like it was my lucky day, when I went to the computer store and met with Andrew about my computer problems!!! This guy is great, honest and very competitive in pricing! Told him what the problem was and he methodically went thru my computer...while I watched what he was doing. I never write reviews, but felt I had to for this one. We used ND Computers for the first time yesterday and I have to say, we are sold. We called Andy around 4pm yesterday about a printing issue and he told us to bring the computer and printer in. He said he'll take a look and let us know. He said he closes at 7pm. He called us around 7:30pm to say he was done and told us to pick up the computer. He is the nicest guy! He explained everything to us patiently and even gave us an antenna and cable. I said I would pay him for those items, but he just gave them to us. He didn't rush us at all, even though by now it was almost 8pm. Took my laptop in to get fixed, cost me 140. Didn't keep things they way I had them. Had to re download somethings and the thing that sucks the most is I'm still having the problem! I found my old laptop when moving apartment and wanted to retrieve the data from it. It doesn't work, so I bought it to here. Andrew is very helpful. Not only the repair fee is lower than I expected, the service is unbelievably good. I went to check about my laptop after some time and found that the new motherboard was not working so he had to order another one. The next day, he called me to pick up. What can I say about ND Computers but the greatest! Last week my smoking ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 (LGA1366) Intel Core i7 Bloomfield large tower that I have probably put over 4k into would not power up. Even though I built this system myself 4 years ago with the help of Andy telling me to upgrade my video cards for which I did this system is still so awesome that I cannot build a new one that would be any better. So the other day when I could not get it to power up after trying everything like switching and taking out cards all it would do is come on for one second and turn off, including even when I would use the power switch on the motherboard. So I took it to Andy thinking that it was probably the motherboard shorted out and the first time Andy went to turn it on it did the same thing for him with Andy thinking the same as me also that it probably was the motherboard. Now I was concerned that I would have to go and try to find a new ASUS board that would work with all of my parts because I'm sure that they still do not have this available anymore and thinking that who knows if I be able to even find one on eBay (for which checking right now on eBay they are selling for more than what I paid). So then the second time Andy hit the power button it came on and has kept coming ever since. Now I know that it might sound crazy but Andy has the "Magic Touch" even though we discussed that there might be a problem in the power switch (along with last week that there were sunspots and my thinking that it's known to cause problems in electrical components) we felt that I should keep an eye on the power switch. In closing I also feel that it was nature forcing me to go up and see him, as I had three laptops that I needed repairs & upgrades done on for which Andy is the best one to work on them and I feel blessed just to have him there! read more

Just about every shop I contacted would not repair my Hannspree 13.3 tablet. He looked at it and then requested I leave it there so he could maybe fix problem. Problem fixed and the price was so inexpensive as opposed to sending to office depot or fry's. Great work! read more

Got great help and Andy fixed my laptop and did a great job - replaced the motherboard. It would have cost at least double of what he charged and more elsewhere and he was local so it was easy to deal with him - took a week, not long.
