I highly recommend this business!!! I dropped my external hard drive and the pin from the b port broke and the port was unrepairable because it was about a decade old. I went to several places and was told that the port couldn't be fixed. I had a 50% chance of data recovery and was quoted $300-$800 to attempt to recover my data. I was so stressed out, all of my files were on my drive. Luckily, I came to J.C. Computers and was told the same thing about my drive and was quoted a price below the other quotes! Had my laptop battery replaced today, and I'm very satisfied. I called in to check the availability, brought my laptop in and got it done within an hour. My case: I had my own new battery for the laptop. The only thing that concerned me was that one of my screw is completely stripped/ damaged. No matter how I tried, I couldn't take it out. I called another place talking abt my case, and they said they could try to help me out, but they might break the cover, and it would cost about $300 (labor included) to replace the battery & the new cover. I was very concerned, but I'm glad I called this place. Jeff told me upfront that it would be $45 for battery replacement. After taking a look of my laptop & the broken screw, he decided to give it a shot, and charged me $10 more for it. It was ready within 1 hour. I can't be happier. I headed down to frys Electronics for an estimate and they don't work on Macs. Then I went to Geek Squad and wanted $150 just for an ESTIMATE!!!
