So SO glad I found Andrew and his business. My MacBook Pro was working fine just literally two nights before, and then one morning I woke up and the screen was showing discolored lines and there was a crack on the bottom left corner. So I decided to give him a call the following morning and he told me to bring my PC in the same day. He managed to get me my PC back to me the same day. On a Sunday evening I spilled about a cup of water all over my Macbook keyboard. So much so that the programs started malfunctioning on my screen and when I pressed the keys water sloshed out... Cue expletives... I turned it off immediately and hung it upside down over a fan to dry overnight (thanks Google). Around 10 am on Monday morning I called Andy, who calmed my panic and said he could definitely help with my issue and to stop by. He would open up my laptop and wash the inside with a solvent to make sure it's 100% dry and there isn't any mineral debris left behind from the water (which can cause corrosion). Then he would boot it up and run some tests. Three and a half hours later Andy gave me a call, my laptop was perfectly functional, good as new! Andy was kind, prompt, knowledgeable, explained everything to me and charged a fraction of what Apple would have for his work ( I was so thrilled/relieved, I tipped him too). I was in desperate need to get my battery replaced fast because my laptop got a swollen battery. Andy gave a very good price for the battery replacement where other places asked for way more. Unfortunately my laptop was I guess the more rare MBP and he didn't have the battery on hand. Instead of waiting about a day or two as originally, I had to wait a week. That's fine. I had to work around my computer situation somehow for the mean time. The rating is mainly for after I get my laptop back. When I received my MBP back, it has a mini screwdriver gouge by the screw area. I think he may have rushed to get the work done. Also noticed a new scratch on the front of my laptop as well and I for certain do not recall it being there. My laptop has always been in a case in the time that I've had it and always took care of it. Just be aware in case you do take your electronics here if small scratches and gouges really bother you. One last thing that I do have to ding is that the battery replaced was originally good as usual but for some reason, it has lost about 7 percent of its initial capacity in just 3 months. I don't let my laptop drain down from 100 to 0 like that. Usually it's about 50 and then recharge. Now, there's strange behavior where the battery would take 10 hours to charge from 80 to 100. It was never like this before. Would I recommend this place? IMO, you get what you pay for but I wouldn't come back. read more

Fixed my hijacked computer quickly and for reasonable price

Quick Tips: 1. There is limited 1 hour parking in front of the shop, but there is a public parking lot in back that gives up to 3 hours of time. Andy is an awesome, awesome guy. After calling around all day and trying to find someone willing to assemble my computer for me, I found Andy, whose prices were incredibly reasonable. He said it would cost me $60 and that he could turn it around in a matter of hours. This was different from everywhere else that said 2-3 days for $100-$150. The shop itself is kinda small, and a little disorganized. There are dozens of computers and parts everywhere, but there are places for you to sit and wait should you choose to. Since my computer parts are very expensive (I7-7700k, 32 gigs of LPX Corsair Ram, a 1080 TI and more), I decided I wanted to actually watch him assemble the computer. This wasn't because I didn't trust him, but rather that I do this to make sure things are done right for the most part. Andy was really patient and definitely wanted to do things right. He made sure things were screwed correctly, and made sure that wire were managed properly. It helped, of course, that I chose a modular PSU and a case that has a dedicated area to help with cable management, but nevertheless Andy did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the quoted turn around time took a little longer since I had a lot of custom things to put together (replaced fans on my h100i CPU cooler etc.) and a few other custom things that had to be tested before it could be wrapped up. Even though this was the case, he still charged me his $60 rate, but I still kicked him a $20 tip for doing the extra leg work. He is absolutely awesome! Andy speaks English and Vietnamese, but does not speak Chinese. In the end, I highly, highly recommend him for computer assembly, and repair. read more

So right before 2014 fall classes start my Mac Book Pro dies on me. The operating System completly crashes and there was a message about the hard drive having an issue. The best part my warranty expired. I called different place asking how much would it be to fix , they all gave me the run arounds. Some wanted to charge $70 just to look at . The quotes I got were even crazier, for them to reinstall the operating system was $200 It not include checking to see if the hard drive needed to be replace or if I needed a new one. I remember Andy and how great he was helping me in the past, plus he has always been the go to guy for my cousin's Mac problems. I called and ask him to see if he could fix it, and he was as always super nice . He told me that he could take a look at it for FREE, and he could see what can be done. So I brought it into his shop and Andy knew right off the bat what the problem was and that he could fix the operating system and told me he was going to check if he could fix the hard drive too, or he was going to replace it.
