Fantastic service! I have an old Surface Pro 7 that I was going to give to my parents so they could have a laptop, and I haven't touched it in years so it was no surprise to see an error screen upon turning it on. The computer turned on, but couldn't go past the blue screen asking for the recovery key or it showed an ongoing system update that never ended. My husband and I tried everything we could on the internet and decided to go to Andrew for assistance. Andrew did exactly what I asked for, wiped everything off the computer and installed Windows 10 so that the laptop was functional again. It was done in one day, and he charged me for far less than what I expected. The process was super quick, and I would absolutely go back to him again. read more

My whole family and I have been coming to Andy for over 15 years! We can always trust him he's honest, reliable, & trustworthy. We are all so thankful he's been there all these years. THANK YOU ANDY! read more

Thank you Andrew for replacing the screen on my MacBook Air. I had physical damage to the LCD screen. It was ready for me to pick up the next day, where as other computer repair shops I called (including the Apple store) would have it ready in 7 days or more, for literally more than double to price. Totally worth it and I'm so glad my computer is working. read more

So SO glad I found Andrew and his business. My MacBook Pro was working fine just literally two nights before, and then one morning I woke up and the screen was showing discolored lines and there was a crack on the bottom left corner. I called multiple places who all quoted me almost double (if not more) the price that Andrew offered. They also gave me ETA times ranging between a few days to a whole week later. Luckily Andrew was willing to take in my laptop same day on 7/16/22 at 2pm, change my screen, and have it back to me by 5pm. I was truly amazed at the turnaround time and the bargain I got my repair for. He even turned on my laptop for me at his shop so I could inspect and make sure everything was okay. The only thing I would say is that your device may end up with a few minor scratches that they didn't come in with, but I would come back to ND Computers a thousand times over for the amazing service and unbeatable prices! read more

Second time customer and would recommend Andrew for your computer related needs. I purchased a MacBook pro for music production, work and dj'ing and took it to multiple studios, recorded countless hours of music on it as well. I unfortunately abused the first MacBook pro but fortunately Andrew was able to coordinate a matching upgrade fit for my needs. Again would highly recommend ND computer! Thank you Andrew. read more

So my son's laptop messed up, especially now with Covid he needs to use it for his schooling. One key stopped working but the way Lenovo is set up he would need to take it all out and put a new keyboard. Just got my kiddos laptop back and he is happy with the work done on it. Way better than buying a new one .. price was reasonable I believe. read more

Andy is amazing! I started having trouble with my Macbook Pro a few months ago. The keyboard wasn't working anymore and the speakers were started to give out. I put it off because I thought I wouldn't be able to have it serviced or fixed either inexpensively or quickly. Long story short, Andy had my computer fixed in under 24 hours for a very reasonable price and was very communicative and easy to reach. I'd recommend him over and over! read more

Super happy with Andrews work! Literally cleaned my mac 2015 laptop in a day, for a more than reasonable fee! His rates was much better than the others I have compared to imo He also helped uninstall adobe for me which I couldn't do for months!!! He knows what he's doing, and is truly caring about his craft. (idk if he even charged me for this, but I tipped him anyways just in case) Highly recommended to anyone with tech problems, he gets his work done swiftly and in a trustworthy manner. Will be coming back to Andrew for any future problems, I am really impressed :) Accepts Venmo as payment which is a plus! read more

Brought my daughters laptop in to fix a cracked screen. Was fast and pricing was reasonable compared to other places we been to. Will definitely come back if anything goes wrong with it read more

I am so glad I was referred to Andy! My laptop screen turned black all of a sudden one day and wouldn't turn back on when I was using it in class. I had finals week the following week so I had to get my MacBook Pro fixed ASAP so I could study over the weekend. Andrew was so sweet and knowledgeable to fix my laptop within A DAY for way less than what Apple would charge to repair. Thanks Andrew, you're a LIFE SAVER!!!!! :) P.S. His hours of operation, I believe, is 10am-5pm. (Putting this here since he doesn't have it listed on his Yelp, hope this helps!) read more

I was recommended by a friend to come to Andy because I was experiencing some computer problems that couldn't be resolved even with the help of the internet. So I decided to give him a call the following morning and he told me to bring my PC in the same day. He managed to get me my PC back to me the same day. His prices are more than reasonable and he's super efficient! When I encountered a minor problem after I received my PC back, he was more than willing to help me fix it. Andy is great! I'll definitely be coming back in the future if I encounter anymore computer problems. P.S. he doesn't take card BUT he does accept Venmo & PayPal. :) read more

Andy is wonderful, definitely come to him for your computer repairs! I'll absolutely be back, just hopefully not too soon! There is free parking behind his shop too. On a Sunday evening I spilled about a cup of water all over my Macbook keyboard. So much so that the programs started malfunctioning on my screen and when I pressed the keys water sloshed out... Cue expletives... I turned it off immediately and hung it upside down over a fan to dry overnight (thanks Google). Around 10 am on Monday morning I called Andy, who calmed my panic and said he could definitely help with my issue and to stop by. He would open up my laptop and wash the inside with a solvent to make sure it's 100% dry and there isn't any mineral debris left behind from the water (which can cause corrosion). Then he would boot it up and run some tests. Three and a half hours later Andy gave me a call, my laptop was perfectly functional, good as new! Andy was kind, prompt, knowledgeable, explained everything to me and charged a fraction of what Apple would have for his work ( I was so thrilled/relieved, I tipped him too). We even talked a bit about possible upgrades to help my computer perform better. A+! read more

My whole experience here has made me satisfied. I was referred by go gadget repair from calling in to see if they do technical problems with my MacBook. I had a question mark folder on a blank screen at startup and tried YouTube tutorials and none of them worked. So after calling Andy he said to come in anytime. I went in and he was really polite with me. He immediately diagnosed it and knew exactly what was the issue which I already knew but didn't have enough to knowledge to do it from online resources. Andy explained every procedure and process to fix the issue. And how long he will be done with it. I told him I was in no rush since this was just a MacBook sitting around in dust. He still said he will have it done as soon as possible. I have just picked up my MacBook after 5 days of Andes care and I am so happy that a stranger on the phone just referred me to him. This guy is literally a genius. read more

I was in desperate need to get my battery replaced fast because my laptop got a swollen battery. Andy gave a very good price for the battery replacement where other places asked for way more. Unfortunately my laptop was I guess the more rare MBP and he didn't have the battery on hand. Instead of waiting about a day or two as originally, I had to wait a week. That's fine. I had to work around my computer situation somehow for the mean time. The rating is mainly for after I get my laptop back. When I received my MBP back, it has a mini screwdriver gouge by the screw area. I think he may have rushed to get the work done. Also noticed a new scratch on the front of my laptop as well and I for certain do not recall it being there. My laptop has always been in a case in the time that I've had it and always took care of it. Just be aware in case you do take your electronics here if small scratches and gouges really bother you. One last thing that I do have to ding is that the battery replaced was originally good as usual but for some reason, it has lost about 7 percent of its initial capacity in just 3 months. I don't let my laptop drain down from 100 to 0 like that. Usually it's about 50 and then recharge. Now, there's strange behavior where the battery would take 10 hours to charge from 80 to 100. It was never like this before. Would I recommend this place? IMO, you get what you pay for but I wouldn't come back. read more

ND is my go to for anything related to my PC building and upgrading. He's reliable, patient, and he's got reasonable prices.

My son broke his headphone jack and it got stuck in his school laptop. I tried all the tricks I saw on Youtube but nothing worked... I was kinda freaking out because I did not want to be on the hook for equipment that did not belong to us. The guy was able to get it out quickly and even though it costed $40 (more than I wanted to pay), it was worth it to have it working again when Distance Learning started the next day. He was nice and did the job within a couple of hours. read more

If you like getting your laptop/electronics fixed for a much cheaper price, Andrew is your man! I saved myself from making a trip to the Apple Store and saving probably hundreds of dollars with my old macbook. I had a problem with my Macbook for ages but I never brought it to get fixed. Andy took my laptop with no commitment and he called me back within a day to let me know the problem and asked me if I wanted him to fix it. The quote was super reasonable as I had two problems and SERIOUSLY, it was a REALLY good price for fixing a blank screen on my laptop and software wasn't working, so he installed a new one. I now have a "like-brand-new" macbook with an upgraded SSD (thx BF!) and a much faster processor. Next time your macbook/electronics break down, definitely find Andrew here at ND Computers and you'd get an unbeatable quote! Good-bye Apple Genius, forever. read more

Amazing! Computer decided to suddenly stop connecting to the internet just as I was about to join a zoom call. Tried some basic trouble shooting at home which worsened the problem (now couldn't connect to any internet). Call ND spoke with Andy, he said bring it over ASAP. He was a short 12 minute drive from my apartment and it took me longer to get here than for him to fix the problem! Super grateful, will be coming back to fix a computer screen on a different Mac. read more

Fixed my hijacked computer quickly and for reasonable price

Quick Tips: 1. There is limited 1 hour parking in front of the shop, but there is a public parking lot in back that gives up to 3 hours of time. Andy is an awesome, awesome guy. After calling around all day and trying to find someone willing to assemble my computer for me, I found Andy, whose prices were incredibly reasonable. He said it would cost me $60 and that he could turn it around in a matter of hours. This was different from everywhere else that said 2-3 days for $100-$150. The shop itself is kinda small, and a little disorganized. There are dozens of computers and parts everywhere, but there are places for you to sit and wait should you choose to. Since my computer parts are very expensive (I7-7700k, 32 gigs of LPX Corsair Ram, a 1080 TI and more), I decided I wanted to actually watch him assemble the computer. This wasn't because I didn't trust him, but rather that I do this to make sure things are done right for the most part. Andy was really patient and definitely wanted to do things right. He made sure things were screwed correctly, and made sure that wire were managed properly. It helped, of course, that I chose a modular PSU and a case that has a dedicated area to help with cable management, but nevertheless Andy did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the quoted turn around time took a little longer since I had a lot of custom things to put together (replaced fans on my h100i CPU cooler etc.) and a few other custom things that had to be tested before it could be wrapped up. Even though this was the case, he still charged me his $60 rate, but I still kicked him a $20 tip for doing the extra leg work. He is absolutely awesome! Andy speaks English and Vietnamese, but does not speak Chinese. In the end, I highly, highly recommend him for computer assembly, and repair. read more

I was referred by another store who no longer did screen repairs, and I can't be more thankful because Andy is such a sweet guy and fixed my macbook screen within two days! I dropped my laptop off on Thursday and it was ready to go by Saturday morning; I was in and out of there in no time regarding both drop-off and pickup. He gave me the best deal out of every other store in the area which I greatly appreciate, and I cannot be more satisfied with the friendly, efficient service! Thank you Andy!! read more

So right before 2014 fall classes start my Mac Book Pro dies on me. The operating System completly crashes and there was a message about the hard drive having an issue. The best part my warranty expired. I called different place asking how much would it be to fix , they all gave me the run arounds. Some wanted to charge $70 just to look at . The quotes I got were even crazier, for them to reinstall the operating system was $200 It not include checking to see if the hard drive needed to be replace or if I needed a new one. I remember Andy and how great he was helping me in the past, plus he has always been the go to guy for my cousin's Mac problems. I called and ask him to see if he could fix it, and he was as always super nice . He told me that he could take a look at it for FREE, and he could see what can be done. So I brought it into his shop and Andy knew right off the bat what the problem was and that he could fix the operating system and told me he was going to check if he could fix the hard drive too, or he was going to replace it. I drop it off. Picked it up today and it runs great and it has a new hardrive, so I end up paying a reasonable price compared to Best Buy being like $300. read more

Five Stars! Andrew is so nice! So I brought in my MacBook for him to check since I spilled a sip of water and the Apple Store was going to charge me the amount to get a NEW laptop. He opened it up and showed me what was wrong with my laptop and told me his suggestions. He suggested that I don't try to fix it as it was a "total lost" to him. I appreciate his honestly and not try to charge me to diagnose or "try" to fix it and charge me for trying to fix it. I will definitely be referring people to him and I will come see him if I were to ever have any computer issues. *fingers crossed that never happens again* Thanks again Andrew! read more

my macbook air 2012 is considered obsolete and apple's website says it no longer services it, so i felt SOL. but i found this place and the owner/man working here said he can replace my battery. i picked it up the next day and i paid a much lower price than i would have at Apple. quick and easy! this place is SO much like a mom and pop store with a lot of computers all over the place and i was the only customer in the store when i visited. he gave my obsolete macbook air new life. good quality service for cheap. couldn't ask for better. read more

Went in after seeing the other's review cause I had the same issue. My MacBook pro has two stripped screws that I couldn't take out and I tried two other computer repair shops in the San Gabriel Valley but none of them was able to take them out. Then I tried calling to a third place that specializes in apple computers and they said they could do that. They told me that they would come to my place and I'd have to pay by the hourly rate for the repair (a minimum of one hour charge for any repair and it would be really expensive in my case). Finally, I found ND Computers on Yelp and after reading others' reviews I found out Andy had done this before. So basically I went in and Andy told me how much it'd cost and then he took the stripped screws out in a few minutes. He charged me a very reasonable price for that, too, and he really made my day. Thank you, Andy, and thank you, Yelp! FYI He has some used Apple parts at reasonable prices such as MagSafe adapters, display assemblies, etc. I will definitely be going back for any repair and whenever I need to pick up some used parts. read more
