We started our morning at Naval Bagels on Sunday when we were in Annapolis for the day. They had a great variety of bagel options, and - while there was a line - the customer service was great. The line was fast and so were our bagels. I opted for a classic - the Naval Bagel (nova lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion, and capers - on an egg bagel, while my husband opted for something that could only exist in Maryland. His Annapolitan bagel is jumbo lump crab, scrambled egg, melted cheddar, and Old Bay seasoning. It's not for me, but he enjoyed it (also on an egg bagel). They have a few tables inside, and a few outside. Many people take their bagels to go, so we were able to get a table outside on that gorgeous morning. We enjoyed our bagels, and I'd happily return to Naval Bagels in the future.

Got breakfast here one morning while in town. Bagels all kinds of ways, and this place is busy. It was packed the morning of our pass through. Walk up counter service with multiple lines going, in a minimalist metal front interior, with limited seating. Most take it to go. The menu boards are overhead. The Southern, scrambled egg with sausage and cheese on a jalepeno bagel, with a cup of coffee was my choice. From the time of ordering to receiving our bagels was less than ten minutes. This place hops and the line moves fast. The bagel was good and the coffee strong, both worked for me. 4 Stars a solid choice for breakfast, thats been around forever. 01110

We came here for breakfast while visiting Annapolis for a wedding and we loved this little spot! Delicious bagels, cozy atmosphere, fast service, it was great!!!

The bagels here are swoon-worthy. They're huge, super fresh with a crusty outside and chewy inside. Service was friendly & fast. The dining area & restrooms were very clean. Highly recommend.

Love this bagel spot! The staff is super friendly and nice and the bagels are even better! Just grabbed my 2 dozen Too good to go order and there was a great variety in the bag! Cant wait to go back!

Get the Super Jalapeño bagel. Toasted. Egg & Cheese. Add DELI Ham. It's the best breakfast sandwich in town. Something about that bagel (Super Jalapeno) makes it a chewier NY style than all others offered. I don't know what they do different. In any case. All the food is good. The coffee is great. The prices are fair. Give it a try!! I think the egg breakfast sandwiches are the best. The lunch sandwiches often seem smaller than I'd want for the price, but maybe I'm ordering wrong. They have had "Birria" on special lately, which is great.

Great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch in Annapolis! I got their power sandwich and added turkey on a plain bagel. Everything tasted really fresh! Service was very quick - in and out within 10 minutes for pick up (even on game day).

Best bagels ever!!! I love going to Naval Bagels right when they open. The staff are so friendly all the time. I personally think they put too much cream cheese on the bagels, so I like to get it on the side to put as much or as little as I want.

Naval Bagels is hands down one of my favorite breakfast stops in Annapolis. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome with their friendly, fast, and genuinely helpful service. Even during the morning rush, they keep things moving smoothly without ever making you feel rushed--just good energy all around. Now let's talk about the standout: the S'mores Bagel. It's not just a novelty item--it's incredible. Perfectly toasted with a gooey mix of marshmallow and chocolate, it tastes like a campfire treat turned breakfast masterpiece. It's indulgent without being over the top, and it's something I'd go out of my way to get again. If you're in the area and love a great bagel (or just want to try something fun and different), Naval Bagels is the place. Great food, even better service--can't recommend it enough.

This place is iconic in Annapolis. Just Across from Navy stadium. Delicious airy NY style bagels The northerner is delicious. Egg, bacon onion peppers & American cheese. With a smear of veggie cream cheese.. try it..:))) Or have a 9 multi grain everything bagel w/cream cheese. My two favorites.

I was in the area for an appointment and had some time to spare, needed to get something quick to eat, and looked up a place that wasn't too far from where I was, and this spot came up; it was literally around the corner! I arrived an hour before they were to close and wasn't quite sure as to what to get but my eye gravitated towards the "" power bagel sandwich it is made with cream cheese, mumster cheese, micro greens, and tomatoes. You are able to choose, which ever bagel you want , toasted or un toasted drinks our self serve while you wait and it didn't take long needless to say, the sandwich was quite huge and worth the price. If you are in this area, I highly suggest to come here for a quick bite. It wasn't crowded when I arrive, but then again it was an hour before they were to close.

I arrived around 1pm on a rainy August day, and on-street parking was readily available nearby. The atmosphere was maritime cafe. You order at a window near the front door and then pick a table or, if available, padded chair. With a beverage, it'd be possible to get a couple of hours of work done. I ordered the vegan crabcake. It came with a small, fresh side salad with homemade dressing. The sandwish was filling and tasty. The crabmeat substitute was made of jackfruit and included the appropriate spices and toppings. I'd definitely hang there next time I'm in Annapolis. I would plan to arrive in the morning to sample the intriguing breakfast items.

Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious and made with really good-quality ingredients. We tried the egg, bacon, and avocado sandwich, and it was very tasty. They also have vegan and gluten-free, allergy-conscious cookies, which is a great option for those with dietary restrictions. In many of the sandwiches, you can substitute the regular cheese with vegan cheese, making it easy to customize your meal. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area right by the water. The outdoor seating area is well maintained and clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Overall, the food is tasty, there are plenty of options for different dietary needs, and the waterfront seating is a nice bonus. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We were immediately greeted and taken care of, which was a great start! The crispy kale was HANDS DOWN one of the best kale dishes I've ever had!!! It was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. I also ordered the crab bucatini, which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and I loved all the different textures and flavors in the dish. I'll admit, looking at the menu, I initially thought this might be one of those overly hippie places that tries a little too hard, with a limited selection that doesn't necessarily look all that appetizing on paper. But wow, was I wrong! Don't let the menu fool you. This place is absolutely worth trying, and the crispy kale alone is reason enough to stop by! They also make their own soda! My one gripe is the "labor of love" tax. I'm not the biggest fan of these extra fees, especially when you're already paying for your meal and tipping. That said, the food was genuinely delicious, and I'd still recommend giving this place a try! Plenty of seating inside, outside, and at the bar!

The Heirloom Tomatoes were really good. The griddled cornbread served with them was moist, though I would have liked it a little sweeter. The Crab Bucatini was probably the standout--absolutely delicious, with the pasta cooked well. The Ribeye was also good and cooked exactly as requested, although I wasn't a big fan of the accompanying sauce. We finished with the Coconut Panna Cotta. We also tried the Calm for a Cure charity cocktails. They were good, but a little on the sweet side for my taste. The service couldn't have been better. Our server checked on us without hovering, kept our water glasses filled, and brought the food out quickly. She really helped make the evening enjoyable. The restaurant was attractive and clean, including the bathroom. It was relatively quiet, with just a little noise from the bar, and comfortable for conversation. Dinner was a little pricey, but I felt it was worth it. One thing to be aware of: our bill included a 4% "Labor of Love" service charge for employee benefits, separate from gratuity. Overall, a very good choice for date night in Annapolis.

I don't give 5 star reviews but Chick and Ruth's deserves it…read more I sat at the bar and the staff was very friendly, I had a question about the creamed, chipped beef and they gave me a small sample to try. I ended up going with a cheesesteak sandwich and I'm so glad I did. It was the perfect balance of bread and filling. Flavourful and juicy and cheesy. I added salt to mine but I like salt. They have a 6lb colossal milkshake challenge! I wasn't up too it, but would consider if I didn't eat all day beforehand. They have additional seating upstairs, but I grabbed a seat at the bar and was immediately taken care of. One thing I really appreciated was the Faces of Valor wall and how many of the menu items are named after local figures, politicians, firefighters, and other members of the community. Around 8:30 AM, they invite a volunteer to lead the Pledge of Allegiance, which I thought was a really nice touch and a reflection of their strong sense of patriotism. (9:30 during the weekend) I ordered the Annapolis Cheesesteak Omelette, and it was pretty good! The ambiance is very much an old-school diner, with pictures covering the walls and plenty of local history and personality throughout the space. It has that classic, community-centered feel that makes the experience more than just grabbing breakfast. Service was another highlight. Despite how busy it was, everyone was fast, attentive, and welcoming. You pay at the counter, which keeps things simple and efficient. My only complaint was the bar stool! I'm pretty short, so my feet were dangling the entire time, and there wasn't a footrest like you'd typically find on other bar stools. By the time I finished eating, my feet were pretty much numb LOL. Definitely something to keep in mind if you're vertically challenged like me! Overall, I had a great experience! Between the friendly service, classic diner atmosphere, and unique local touches, this is a great spot to stop by for breakfast in Annapolis.
