This place is a hit & miss... it's part our fault only reason is because we keep going back!! Every problem is different but this one here just put me over the edge!! Every time they mess our orders up they rectify it!! I would have gave more stars -pizza is good. Why, I didn't they always screw our order up!!! I'm starting to think it's a personal attack! I order 10 pc fried hard all flats with two sauces on side pretty simple huh !! and our order was recited back to me ghost pepper and Teriyaki ginger on the side right.. right. . When my spouse picked the order up they told him everything was in the bad. He makes it home I'm ready to eat and guess what I have no sauces to go with my 10 pc chicken!! I paid for a 10 pc with two sauces on the side fried hard all flats. Very disappointing. I made my call to tell them and the sweet young lady over the phone didn't know how to handle the call. I wasn't calling to get anything for free just wanted them to beware of the problem. Literally I always have a problem at this native. Carlos is the reason why we keep going back. I had enough I don't have money to waste! Not only that why in the hell would they put my hot chicken in a styrofoam container with no parchment paper.. do they know how many chemicals this gives to a human body!! Cancer!! Smdh. They think I'm going to eat this! Who is the owner of this place! Why yall putting chicken in a Styrofoam without any parchment paper. Maybe I should contact the health department !! read more

Food and service are amazing! Restaurant is always clean and friendly staff! If you haven't tried the new steak fingers yet, they are a must. Sweet chili and medium with blue cheese are amazing read more

We normally don't leave reviews for restaurants when we're dissatisfied but felt this one was really warranted. We ordered wings, a chicken sandwich and salads and none of the food looked safe to eat. Instructions weren't followed (our salad had cheese despite ordering without due to allergy), we were missing an order of fries, and there were no dressing for the salads at all. To top it off the wings looked old and disgusting. Took one bite and spit it out immediately. Look at the lettuce included on my chicken sandwhich. It was brown, wilted and slimy. Everything was horrible, would not recommend. read more

As a family of 7 Food is always great! As well the great customer service!! My family favorite restaurant

best native in AZ! the food it always delicious and the service is always impeccable. Caesar is constantly checking on tables and making sure everything about the guests experience is enjoyable. There is a very spacious parking lot so finding parking will never be an issue. I recommend sitting in the bar area as the ambience is amazing, they have a giant mural of gilbert painted on the wall! read more

Great food and service! Thanks Amber! We've come for a couple years and it appears that the food is getting better and much faster after we order. read more

Great place to watch sports, eat wings, and drink beers. Wings were great, although I expected the hot wings to have more a kick, but the chicken and waffles was amazing! Service is great and certainly worth the money. Making this my place during the fall! read more

Huge fan of Native! I've had the pleasure getting to know the owner and staff and they really put together great catering, pick up and in location experience. I totally recommend calling them for your next party or time you are looking for great wings, pizza and drinks! read more

The Native on Baseline and Greenfield is awesome. The prices are fair and the food is good. Never had a bad meal. We love dealing with all the wait staff, especially Virginia. read more

Came in today (yeah it's Easter) but there was 7+ other tables and people at the bar. 2-3 servers, bartender, food runner. The host sat us and then in took almost 25 minutes for someone to talk to us and that's when we finally got their attention so who knows how much longer it wouldn't taken if he hadn't said anything read more

Do not go here. Save your time, money and piece of mind. I tried 3 serpents times through different dining types (in person & delivery). The sheer service is lackluster and subpar. It's actually astounding and not in a flattering way by any means. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Food was not good. Took over a half an hour to get food. No cheese on a cheeseburger. Pork slider had three small bites of pork. I'm told they only have one cook in the kitchen but seriously? When I asked for a manager I'm told that the manager did not show up today? They weren't even able to take my food off my tab. Where the heck are the owners!?!? I feel bad for the servers who clearly were doing the best they could. read more

Native Grill & Wings - Chicken Wings Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

pizza was very greasy and was like a mini waterfall when picking it up it was so bad I had to use more than 5 napkins to dab off the grease and from the grease it caused it to be soggy which caused my daughter to choke on the breading without the cheese. our sever Laura, wasn't very attentive as our whole family of 8 went without water till the end of our meal. as she was refilling a drink for our table she brought it back and handed it over from behind the booth which wasn't very professional AT ALL it was more rude than anything as the drink could've easily been knocked out of her hand. personally we all won't be returning to dine here moving forward. this place needs more servers and an experienced bar tender as well as the one who was working the bar tonight couldn't serve the alcohol our table had wanted due to not being able to open the keg then she dropped a whole bunch of glasses. again this place is just NOT it. an absolute SHIT SHOW! I would give this place 0 stars if it were an option. read more

Last 4 orders through DoorDash were missing at least one entree item, we're done w/Native after 35 years, no more

I've lived here 7 yrs and today decided to have lunch here. Pretty decent menu with healthy selections too. The wing selection is amazing. The lettuce wraps are fantastic and my son loved the salt & vinegar wings. I'd give them more stars but the service was ridiculous. Our young waitress must have early onset Alzheimer's. She asked three times. "What are you drinking again?" She stated she was "very rushed" today and apologized. We appreciated the .40 cent wings but please have sufficient help on days that are this busy at lunch. read more

Placed an online order. It was received super quick and hot. We were missing a salad. I called in and the manager herself(virgina) said she would bring it to me now! What great service! How awesome for her to fix an issue quickly and on her own! This establishment has great customer service! I took my son here last year for his birthday and the server we had was great, his first large party and he didn't miss a beat with the entire service or split checks! Highly recommend! read more

30 min for an order of hummus appetizer with 6 people in the restaurant. Saw commercials on tv for this place live down the street but now I know why it's a 3 star place! SMH as bad as it gets!! read more

We come here often (used to go to the one on Signal Butte also). Today stopped for lunch. Long wait for food. Stephanie, our server was great! However, short staffed and took a very long time for food to come out. My girlfriend had a club and I had a Callifornia Cluck. Neither had any mayo or condiments on them. Then we discovered the bacon on both was limp and appeared raw. The manager came over and told me I was wrong, bacon came in precooked. I spent many years working in restaurants and this stuff was raw. He apologized and offered to re-cook both. Said he was 2 cooks short, well I don't approve of excuses. I asked that he go ahead and redo them, the new sandwiches were very good. However, nothing further was done. A decent manager would have comped the food or gave a discount. I try to write about good things when out, but I don't like being told to my face I'm lying, nor being given excuses for shoddy food or work. Giving raw food, especially pork, is very dangerous. I'm debating how far to go with this. Maybe report to the County Health Department. Again, Stephanie is a jewel there, but their manager needs to learn when food is servable. read more

Went in with my wife and walked right out . We sat down and for 10 mins we had servers walking around us not even acknowledging us. While a couple that got sat across from us got drinks, and we had been sitting there with our thumbs up our asses . That's when we walked out . My wife was kind enough to return the menus back to the hostess. I hope this is not a trend with these restaurants. Won't be back... read more

We placed a 70 dollar order for wings over the phone for pick up. We arrived slightly later then the quoted time. Upon approaching the hostess stand, there was a guest placing a to go order. The host and hostesses were uncommunicative with me as a guest, and the rest of their staff. The guest who placed their order after mine, was then greeted with a smile and a bag with their to go order. How is this possible? Why would you serve the second guest first? Unacceptable! My order should have been ready to go the moment I walked in the door. No apology for this disrespect and I even tipped the kid a couple of bucks. What a waste! The interior was small and typical of Native. I am so glad that I don't live close to the location because it's THE WORST Native I've ever been to.... read more

My husband tried to order from here this evening and called ahead, but his food was never made. He saw various people get their food but was told by the hostess that for some reason the kitchen would not start making his food. She claimed they were understaffed, but yet they were not that busy at the time. Arizona always has some micro-aggressive racist stuff going on. How coincidental that the only black person ordering food doesn't get their food made? The hostess was also black and told my husband that she didn't understand why they weren't making the food. The manager was also on meth. So there ya go. read more

Great food, good service, reasonable prices. I love, love, love this places appetizers! I usually get the cheese sticks and chicken wings. Anytime after about 11:30am on a weekday and this place starts getting really busy. The servers here are usually really good at tracking care of customers and their orders. The areas are always clean and it's located in a great location. This place is right next door to Fat Cats. Highly recommend! read more

Walked in with at 9:05 and got seated right away. Ordered our food same as usually that we have been doing for the past 10 years. Our drinks and appetizers were brought to table and waited for food. The brought the wings out and were undercooked. We have been placing the same order for and this is the third time we are told they are cooked per instructions, but after 10 years, we know they are not. The wings went back and the shift Sup came over to advised us they did put the wings in for the specified amount and after letting her know they were not as we know, she went on to say, none of the cooks know any English so it was hard but they were told to cook them for the requested amount. We reassured her it was not, as we know and checked the wings and they were brought out in less than the specified amount. There was just no way they were cooked correctly. She said they were closing and would not be able to remake the food. Sadly, this location has been going downhill and they do not seem to care. I love the waitresses and staff, but this type of customer service discourage regular patronage from coming back to our neighborhood Native. Too sad to be honest. read more

Native is a solid 3-Star joint. It can flucuate Plus or Minus a Star depending on YOUR mood. For me, this Native consistently ranks 4 Stars. The staff is friendly and helpful, the beer is cold, and the TV's are a-TVin' and one's bound to be tuned to something you want to see (if not just ask and they'll change one for ya). What more do you need? Well, let's talk about food then. They've got tasty stuff. Things I can def recommend: Wings and Native Strippers - Take your choice, get both, ya can't lose. Burgers and sliders - Made to order, very tasty. Five Cheese Grill - This Jedi/Ninja of grilled cheese sandwiches will ruin you for other grilled cheeses. Onion rings - a recent discovery - OMFG... so good. Chicken Parm - awesome just make certain you have extra sauce. Fish and Chips - just right. Two things I def CAN'T recommend: Never stick yourself in the eye with a fork.... and Native Flat Bread Pizzas - I would pay a handsome sum to NEVER AGAIN eat any of these cardboardy dessicated atrocities. Oh the humanity! Bleech {cough} So, 4 STARs. Just don't step in any of that Flat Bread Pizza. read more

Recently ordered delivery from this location and part of the order was missing. Called and spoke to a woman who I assumed was a manager and she told me she'd issue me a credit for the missing food. Days later, the original charge hit my bank statement but, big surprise, no credit. The cost of food is too high these days to also get ripped off in this way. read more

So, it took a long time for us to try this again but decided, for dinner, to give Native another try. Ok, so our delivery arrived and, of course, we were missing two salads. BUT, the big thing is, we decided to try again. We tried the "naked strips" ...1/2 pound ? Ummm, we weighed what we got. 4 ounces. Ok, I get pre cook weight but half?? Really?? We called and were told that the breaded ones probably weighed more because the breading holds the water in. Ummmm, yeah, ok, I'm done read more

Loved this place! Food was great and service was fast and the staff was great!! Will definitely be back!

I love the buffalo fries usually when I go in and try them but I had them delivered today and they came in looking and tasting NOTHING like how they do when I go in. I'm very disappointed that they don't deliver the food the same way they would present it if I went in. I should receive the same quality regardless of how I get it. 1 star for this experience although if you go in it is amazing. first picture is how i got them, second is how they are supposed to look. read more
