First time, tried this restaurant because it was across from the hotel I was staying. Fully vegan loved the cauliflower Shawarma bowl. It was enough for two people to share and eat, if you're a person who eats small portion. The quinoa was cooked perfectly.Friendly staff and a complete plant based options. Fries were okay not up-to my expectations.

I am beyond pleased that this location is now family owned! I feel like they brought native foods back to its roots! The menu has some of the ORIGINAL classics that I haven't seen in years and the food has soul. So many locations closed when it became more corporate and the owner had brought back the native foods that I fell in love with. The staff is so nice and helpful. The food is 10/10 no complaints. I love this restaurant and am very loyal. I hope this location as the last location thrives and has an amazing future. If you're in Glendale please go and support locally owned vegan restaurants!

Always a mainstay when I eat out. Food is always consistently delicious. Here is their Bahn mi salad, sitting on a bed of rice.

I want to love this place more, but I struggle after my second visit. I love a vegan small business, making impact for our environment and our health. But that also raises the bar on quality of ingredients used... I had the Buddha Bowl. The sprouts were moldy. The avocado was covered in brown as if it's been sitting out for a while. The pineapple is definitely from a can. And probably the corn as well. I really wish the ingredients were fresher. This makes me hesitate to come back. Maybe a smaller menu would help keep things fresher. I don't know. I won't be back for a while after this visit. The staff are always kind and helpful. Clean up quickly and food comes out fast. Just wish the food quality was better.

I hate to write bad reviews but I have tried their food here several times, several items and it just isn't good. The first time I got a burger and maybe I shouldn't have jumped right in to the fake meat but thought I would give it a try and it was awful. I eventually have gone to salads and still not a fan. The azteca salad was served with a mango dressing that seemed like straight sugar. It was so sweet and way too thick. The potato salad was okay. I would say the best thing I have eaten there. I also don't like the fact that they have a Go Fund Me for keeping their restaurant open. Go Fund me pages should be for individuals struggling, not someone trying to run a restaurant. Overall, I am not fan.

Twister Wrap and Mac n' Cheese

I visited Native Foods for takeout this week and ordered a Twister Wrap with a side of Mac n Cheese. As a vegan/vegetarian for years I've had all kinds of plant based food good and bad. I had pretty high expectations as the food looked delicious and seemed to be similar to restaurants I've been too in CA with a similar concept and menu. The online ordering process was great, but my food still wasn't ready 10 mins after the pickup time. For $22 I expected a larger wrap with more than one "chicken" tender or two, but the wrap was small and lacked flavor. The Mac n Cheese I was excited for, but also lacked real flavor and tasted like a very processed thin barely-even-cheese flavored sauce. It was fine to visit once, but I don't think I would go again.

The Gyro bowl to-go with seitan slices & garlic-lemon dressing was to die for.

Love Native Foods dishes and desserts. Their specials are always delicious as well. We like to get chicken tenders with buffalo sauce to start. I have gotten the Almost Famous Bowl and the Gyro Bowl and loved both of them. The Chicken Run Ranch sandwich is a favorite we have been getting for years. My partner loves the jalapeño popper burger. Their dessert parfaits and oatmeal cream pies are outstanding, we can't leave the place without one of them at least. Lots of love for this vegan restaurant. I hope it sticks around for a long long time. *heart*

We ordered a whole table of food and everything was delicious but this was phenomenal!! The cream reminded me of a buttermilk cream that wasn't too sweet, and the cookie was crunchy around the edges but softer in the middle. Perfect dessert to finish up with!!

Twister Wrap with crispy "chicken" and chipotle sauce option.

Those sweet potato fries, though! If you're looking for low carb, whole grain vegan food, look no further. We had the Twister Wrap and the Orange Cauliflower Bowl yesterday -- absolute yumminess. The Twister Wrap is a low-carb option for those of you who care, but it's the most flavorful crispy "chicken" wrap I've had in a while. You get all the textures, which makes this handheld food perfect. (You get the option of grilled or buffalo style as well.) I highly recommend the chipotle sauce option! The wrap comes with a side, and of course I chose sweet potato fries (see my note below). The Orange Cauliflower Bowl looks like real orange chicken and the mix of corn, brown rice, scramble was just the perfect mix. The knowledgeable ladies who took our orders were super accommodating and just very cool about our requests. Our food was executed perfectly. Portion-wise, were both noticing that it was just the right amount. Bonus, which gave this place a 5 stars right away was their decaf and no-sugar iced tea option: hibiscus tea. Hoping their dessert parfaits options will come sugar free some day, or at least low sugar, because I want to destroy those in the best way possible. Also, hat tip to our Uber driver who recommended the sweet potato fries (LOL). They were crispy on the outside and soft in the center. That salt, pepper, herb and cinnamon (?) sprinkle over the fries was just... wow. I'm going to try to recreate it at home because I can't stop thinking about it. Came here for dinner yesterday on a windy evening in Denver! Got specific here as I heard they're planning to expand elsewhere, so I hope they come to L.A.!

Fresh healthful casual vegan. Place your order at the counter and choose a table. A few of their locations have closed recently, so a few menu items aren't available. This makes me worry that Native Foods may have trouble staying open. I would hate to lose them: great location, excellent food and very fair prices.

The munchwrap supreme 10/10!

Hello! I was wondering if hours will be modified for New Year's Eve and New Years? Thanks so much in advance!?

Hi.. I do not know. I live in California. I am in Denver every couple months and eat at native when I am there. Best bet would be to call the restaurant. Enjoy!

I looked over the menu and didn't see many vegan foods. Is there a Vegan menu? Thanks for all the answers. I just don't miss these foods.

I don't throw around the word "franchise" lightly. But I walked out of Mango Mango Dessert on Colorado Blvd genuinely researching whether I could open one in centennial or south area. That should tell you everything. The crepe cake is what got me. Thin crepe after thin crepe, stacked with cream, and somehow light enough that you don't feel like a monster for finishing it. We also grabbed some to bring home... which lasted about 20 minutes if I'm being honest. Perfect end of night dessert. Here is the thing though... this place doesn't feel like it was built for an American audience. It feels like someone picked it up directly from Asia and just set it down on Colorado Blvd, completely intact. The flavors, the presentation, the whole experience... it's the real deal. Not a watered down approximation of what Americans think Asian dessert tastes like. The actual thing. Now the lines. They are long. At all hours. And the answer is yes... people just love it this much. A line that long is usually trying to tell you something. Go. Just bring a bag if patience.

The ube latte was perfectly sweet with a strong ube flavor. The crème brûlée cruffin had a top that was so crispy from the toasted sugar that I couldn't cut into it, and the bottom was just stuffed full of cream. It was super messy to eat and impossible to share- next time I am getting my own. We also had the pandan coconut cupcake, which was good but not as exciting as the cruffin. The pandan and coconut were both equally strong flavors- I liked it better than my husband did. The Thai tea cake in a cup was also excellent, but outshone by the cruffin. They were out of a few other things we wanted to try by 11am on a Saturday, so get there early if you want something specific. The gentleman running the counter was very friendly and efficient, even when they were busy. Seriously, get the crème brûlée cruffin. I know I will be back for it.

I think I built it up in my head so it sat on a pedestal from all the buzz I've heard. Everything was fine but again, expected something wow worthy. We came here for lunch, love that everything is to go. I was sad to see the traditional cold cut banh mi sold out for the day I pivoted and went with lemongrass pork sandwich. Similar fixing to banh mi, it tasted fine but the pork was rough and tasted ok. They have gorgeous pastries and Vietnamese coffee drinks, I would come back for one of those. We split a cup of cakes (cute!), Boston Thai Tea. Flavor was spot on and appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. I would stop here again if I was in the area and needed a banh mi but don't see that happening. I would rather go to Federal or Aurora for one with more flavor.
