As stated in my initial review there was one box that was improperly handled by not following the directional arrows and the do not stack on top of directions. The item is a piece of expensive electronic Amateur Radio Equipment worth over $7,000.00 which was packed in the original factory box by me. Being stood on its side, the bottom of a stack of other boxes approx 6' + high, placed strain on the circuit boards and frame of the amplifier. Last week after finally managing to have a 220v outlet installed I attempted to turn on the amplifier and discovered the damage, smoke, board and frame damage. Filed a claim and basically received a form letter stating: "We do not cover items that are not packed by National Van Lines." There was no mention of this policy in the beginning and I cannot find it any where in the contract. There are no employees of National van lines except possibly corporate or office staff. The movers are subs, drivers are independents, and the moving crew are contract. They offer arbitration at your cost and of course from the opposite side of the country. There was not even an offer to have the item repaired. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY TO SHIP VALUABLE ITEMS UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE SCREWED. AS As I stated above do not use this company as you can see from their statement below they Assume no Responsibility. According to their contractor you have ninety days to report damage to any property so me signing a document stating that the Boxes were all there and not damage doesn't mean a thing about the contents. Supposedly my property was insured for $55000 which was a waste of money for the insurance because they don't insure anything unless they pack. It and you pay them an exorbitant amount of money to do so. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND ANYTHING EXCEPT LOOP HOLES. INSURANCE IS A WASTE OF MONEY. National Van Lines stands out way above the rest in a very suspect industry. Brandon Ayala was my coordinator throughout the process, and I must say he was honest and available throughout the process. From the first call they got me over to Brandon and he walked me through a virtual tour and gave me a quote within 24hrs. Movers showed up when they were scheduled and did a good job packing. When there was a question about paperwork after the loading process, Brandon made himself available on the spot and we figured it out. On delivery the same thing. BEWARE! This company does not have its own trucks or crew. Does not even deserve one star. Wish I knew that before I booked with them. Scheduled my move two months in advance. The day before my scheduled packing and loading I called National Van Lines to find out when my crew was coming and they did not have anyone lined up for me. It took them four days to scrounge up three men and two U-Haul trucks. These three men did not work for any reputable moving company I might add. I am now three days behind on my move. My family and I had to purchase boxes and packing paper to pack my own belongings. This was supposed to be a complete pack, load and move contracted job. My husband and I then had to arrange additional moving crews to help with the packing and loading in order to be out on time. We have moved with other major moving lines in the past, this was the worst move ever! Please do not book your move with this company. Very unprofessional, unorganized, uncaring and awful business I have ever worked with. Always remember, the cheapest isn't always the best. We incurred many damages to our belongings. They packed our 13,000 pound move into two (2) 20 foot U-Haul trucks. Tables were smashed, gas grill smashed, outdoor heater bent, dining room table legs gouged, fabric stained and ripped, etc. I hope I can add photos to this review. American Moving and Storage came recommended to me by my family member as she liked working with Nicole Allen. As I was receiving some of her furniture from her move, I decided to go with them as she said they were very thorough and had experience moving antiques. Little did I know that American Moving and Storage was just one of the haulers of National Van Lines. In the contract signing process alone, I had to contact both American Moving and Storage and National Van Lines upwards of 5 times just to get the departing and delivery addresses correct. My name was even misspelled on multiple occasions in the contract even after I had corrected the issue. Then there was the issue of the promised delivery date. At first I was given a window of 15 business days or so. I then contacted Nicole Allen after 12 business days and asked for an update and she at first thought that my items had not been picked up yet from Savannah. She had to call around to figure out where my furniture was and then finally discovered they were on their way and gave me the date of Monday June 3rd for delivery. I do not have many PTO days, and I had taken that day off to receive the furniture for my move. I came to find out after not receiving a call from the movers within the 48 hour window, and calling American Moving and Storage and National Van Lines repeatedly and leaving many voicemails and emails, that I would actually not have my move delivered until Tuesday June 4th. So I had to take off from work and use my personal vacation time again for the lack of timeliness and miscommunication of National Van Lines and American Moving and Storage. On the actual day of the move, the mover from Antonio's Hauling let me know that one of my antique Chippendale chairs had "cracked". When I eventually saw them take the piece out of the truck, it was in 5-6 separate splintered pieces rendering the chair completely unusable and now I do not have a complete set of dining room chairs. In talking with Sue Mackey from National Van Lines, she downplayed my grievances and after explaining my issues over the phone and submitting file claims for inconvenience and for the damage done to the chair as well as other furniture in the delivery, I was finally sent a check. I found this experience HIGHLY unprofessional with the people I interacted with. I should not have to track people down and leave 5+ voicemails and emails over the span of a few workweek days to just figure out when my furniture was being delivered. And in addition to that, the fact that the chair was stacked on top of multiple other furniture pieces and not secured to prevent it from falling and smashing on the floor of the truck is unbelievable. I was in such shock and so upset. I have another large move coming up and I guarantee I will not be using National Van Lines or any of their subsidiaries in the move nor will I be recommending their services to anyone else. I used National Van Lines in my cross country move and was beyond dissatisfied with their customer service, the process as a whole, and their willingness to help with problems they created. I signed a contract with a guaranteed delivery window of June 8th-June 22nd, and did not receive my items until July 12th. Furthermore, I contacted the company multiple times while waiting and was given no information and could not get my calls returned until I was able to get in touch with their director of customer service, who also eventually stopped responding. My items were dropped off at a warehouse in Phoenix where I was moving from on June 3rd and were not even picked up to be delivered to South Carolina until the 26th of June, despite the fact that I was guaranteed delivery by the 22nd. Because of the extreme delay I incurred over $700 in additional expenses for hotels, clothes, and other items that I was not aware I would need. When my items finally did arrive, the driver was extremely rude, refused to help with any assembly even though that was a part of what I paid for. Multiple items were also damaged in the move, about $450 worth of damage. When I filed a claim, as I was directed to do by customer service, they simply said that the damage was not great enough for them to do anything. While I would like to be compensated in some way for the trouble, the disrespect and poor treatment, and the horrible experience, I do understand that is highly unlikely. However, I want to warn anyone else who might make the mistake of using this company. They are over-priced, and treat their customers reprehensibly. read more

Worst moving company I've ever had the misfortune of using. Terrible communication. Absolutely no sense of timeliness or transparency on something as important and time-sensitive as a move. The shipment arrived weeks late and missing a box of important sentimental value. They told me the delay was in order to ensure proper delivery to avoid mishaps from moving in and out of multiple vehicles. But they were still weeks late and missing a box. I arranged a move from San Diego, CA to Harrisburg NC through National Van Line's agent, Blake Contardi of Affordable Quality Moving and Storage (AQMS). The signed agreement had a contracted price of $23,960.77. The estimate was signed by both parties on May 13, 2023. Before the agreed upon moving date and after a fully executed contract, National Van Lines informed me of an 8% price increase, and my move would now cost $25,710.41. By this time, all aspects of my move were in place, and I could not find a more reputable moving company. When my household goods were delivered by National Van Lines policy, I had to pay the higher price in full prior to any my belongings being offloaded in my new location. I have contacted AQMS multiple times and they say it is National Van Lines who will not honor my contract with their agent, AQMS. read more

Excellent service from Sales rep, Jeff Chapman in Sarasota, Florida and driver, Richard. The packers and loaders were all well trained and very careful with our furniture and boxes. Not one thing broken so far - we still have lots of boxes to unpack. I liked having the same driver for the entire trip. It made unloading and assembling furniture much easier. Moving is so stressful but the entire team made it as easy as possible. The team in Sarasota, FL and Greenville, SC was very customer service orientated. This is our 5th long distance move and I would highly recommend National Van Lines. read more

If I had the opportunity, I would give 4.5 stars, rather than 4. Everything was really good from the start. Joe Kim, my booker and customer service rep, was excellent. He was available via text at all times and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism. The move itself was good. The pickup and delivery were done on the day and time stated and the driver kept in touch. My only issues were found a couple of days after delivery. I found a couple of fairly large and obvious scratches on my wood floor. Also, the captain's bed was put together incorrectly. One of the drawers was installed in such a way that it is completely jammed and misplaced in its track. I can't pull it out and have no idea how to fix it. Summary: Oversell, underdeliver. Detailed description: I was pretty sold on National Van Lines after reading decent reviews online and speaking over FaceTime with a sales rep who gave me a very detailed quote that was competitive with other companies I looked into. He also told me that while the contract would say my shipment would be delivered no later than two weeks from pickup, he estimated it would actually be 5-6 days. The movers packed up my things quickly and were very polite while moving everything so felt I made the right decision. Unfortunately, it took a turn for the worse from there. Six days after my move I got a call from NVL. I was expecting a drop off estimate, but instead they informed me my things would be delivered toward the end of the contract estimate, which stated that the latest delivery date would be April 23. Not ideal, but what can you do, right? Then I don't hear from anyone for a week, so on April 23 I call and email NVL to get more info. I received curt emails that didn't really give a lot of info, no explanation of the tardiness, and when I finally got on the phone with a representative she was completely unsympathetic. They confirmed they would deliver two days after the last day the contact promised (so a whole additional weekend without my things). After much discussion, they "graciously" took $100 off my shipment, which was more than $1,000 over the estimate I originally got from the sales rep, by the way. Overall, the customer service experience was quite frustrating outside of the physical movers (who they probably contract with anyway) and it seems their standard operating procedure is to oversell expectations and underdeliver results. read more

We worked with All Around Moving based in Romulus, Michigan. They work with National Van Lines. Our rep, Logan was really helpful and responsive. He helped us get a quick turn around on a quote and getting scheduled. Our packers were great, nothing was damaged on arrival. Our drivers and unloaders, Damon and Luis, were fantastic. They were energetic, positive and super friendly! Only snag was a miscommunication between All Around/National and Montway about what condition one of our cars needed to be in before getting shuttled. We were told the car could have things in it, but then told it couldn't by Montway. All Around/National helped us out by packing our things in the car after our initial pack day free of charge. I'd give 5 stars if not for this little snafu, but I appreciated them making it right. read more

*Long Review but please read, extremely detailed and pictures included*. I can and will provide email correspondence with NVL upon request for anyone who questions this review. Initials will be used in place of their names and please look at their website to reference our points of contact. When we first reached out to National Van Lines for a quote, the rep was very attentive and friendly. Given that we have made several long distance moves we were prepared with our questions and concerns. After speaking with her and setting our expectations we felt confident in having our items moved by NVL. We signed the quote and had our items packed and ready to go for our move in day with the exception of the larger items which we were assured would be carefully packed by the movers on that day. Well moving day arrives and low and behold they did not show in the timeframe as quoted. We reached out to out rep and she said they were running behind on the previous job and would be there shortly. When they arrived almost 2 hours late, we asked them how their day was and they said slow. They did not in fact have a move they were completing. They were waiting on NVL to confirm the time to arrive. They make their way to our home and begin to move the boxes we had ready on to the truck of wooden crates. Yes wooden crates. Everything was going well until they started to move out larger items that we were told would be packed with care. They in fact did not pack any of those items as they said they would and told us they would be wrapped before placing them on the truck. Shame on us for not walking out and ensuring they were. We were told we would have an update 72 hours in advance as our new place requires a move in reservation time slot for the elevator. This never happened and when we received the call they tell us they will be there tomorrow. We cannot get an elevator reservation due to it being booked and they tried to tell us that we will have to find and pay for storage due to being unable to accommodate their delivery. What? We were told, again per our request, that we would get this call so we could reserve the moving elevator. It is now delivery day! September 24th. One of the first items brought in to our home was our mattress and box springs that were to be packed for shipping the them. They were not covered or wrapped at all. They were delivered absolutely disgusting and damaged beyond use, see attached photos. They were so bad the movers called and told NVL they were going to remove and dispose of them which they did. We ended up having our treadmill damaged, our bed damaged, entryway table damaged, boxes beat up and huge gouges in them as well as other smaller items damaged beyond repair. We reached out to the customer service line and their unsympathetic response was "fill out the claim form." We paid for full coverage, $0 deductible coverage for our items. We did not get anywhere with the customer service agents so I took it upon myself to search out for the higher ups. I found TH, the CEO and Chairman, on LinkedIn and sent him a message and he actually called the following day letting us know JC, the VP of Customer Experience, would be assisting us from here. She actually followed up promptly as well. She spoke to my wife who sent her the photos of our items and had us send over the estimated cost to replace our unusable mattress and box spring. She then scheduled an adjuster to stop by and look at the damages to our items. When he stopped by he was very dismissive on the condition of the items and was saying it's just cosmetic. He was correct! There was a lot of cosmetic damage to our items that was not there when the items left CA. We did not agree to just have our items make it here regardless the condition. He then set up a time for a fitness company to come and assess the damages to the treadmill. It took a visit for an assessment, visit to attempt to repair the treadmill without all the parts with a need to reschedule and then finally coming to replace most all of the parts. In the middle of all of this the Director of Claims, MR, finally decided to get involved once we made it clear we were leading this claim. He told my wife we would be receiving a $300 appearance allowance towards our $1000 treadmill. Never received and the treadmill was not completely repaired. Yes cosmetic but still damaged by them. After everything was repaired to the best of their ability I let some time go by for National, especially JC or TH to follow up and they again did not. I sent an email expressing our dissatisfaction with the move and communication thereafter and finally received a response from JC stating that she was glad that there was no other items to address. This was on December 17th and the delivery occurred around September 24th. At no point along the way did NVL follow up to make sure the adjuster was staying on top of this. read more

Gave us a date range of when our pick up would be & it was the earliest date which was great for us..The guys were pleasant, professional & fast. Damon Clark, Mikey there were at least 3 others. All good. Our furniture was then delivered right on time even a day earlier then we expected which again was great. Damon & Chicken were the men who did our delivery & it was such a good experience. National Van LInes has excellent sales personnel, who are responsive and efficient -- and make great promises that the company falls way short on. I would give them 1 star. Buyer Beware! Whereas you are promised a high dollar limit on claims, the company refuses to pay claims, despite substantially damaging furniture and leaving labeled items to be moved behind in the place that you moved from. When you file a claim, the claim is denied. When you counter the claim denial, the rationale for denying the claim then changes. I would highly recommend avoiding using this company! read more

National van lines was extremely helpful in organizing a flexible pick up and delivery schedule. Undercut there competitors prices by about 10% and provided timely support and up dates The team that physically provided the move were polite, efficient and competent. Not one piece of our furniture and other items was damaged The two man team were the nicest people you could possibly want to work with. A testament to the professionalism of the team. There are many movers to pick from. This is a statement of United's pride in taking a commodity and making it as less stressful as a move can be. read more

We were worried that our monitor would be damaged after seeing him only bubble wrapped and put it in our moving box, but he insisted on us not to worry as he knew what he was doing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Rick Tobin, the Agent for National Van Lines came referred to us by our realtor, who will never refer them to anyone after she heard what happened to us. We were promised our full truck would arrive on the date we planned to be at our new house. We had no communication from Mr. Tobin, but were notified by the driver on the last day of packing at our house, that once our truck was loaded, it was going to a holding area in the next county to wait to drive to central California to pick up a very small shipment to go on the back of our truck. From Central California, our truck went to Durango, Colorado to drop off the secondary very small shipment. Our truck arrived 3 days late to our home, and we needed our belongings to set up our home and get our daughter to school the next day. Additionally, a small file box with important paperwork that we required to be with us, was loaded into the truck and was inaccessible to remove. I notified Rick Tobin, and he never returned my text. Furniture arrived scratched and with missing wood pieces and irreplaceable Antiques were broken. Boxes were crushed from the way they stacked and loaded the truck. We also found 2 of our boxes that had crayon drawings on them - which had to be done by a child. How did this happen? When was a child in our truck and possibly climbing and jumping around on our boxes? We were told to stay out of the truck for our safety. Don't give your money to these people who make promises about delivery schedules, and then change the plan and don't communicate any changes to you. They used us to make a little extra money to load a very small shipment on the back of our truck which was predominantly full. We paid the price through a delayed delivery, which was a hardship, and damaged and broken possessions. My dog's food was on the truck and the heat from Central California and high altitude side-trip through the Rockies damaged the packaging and contents. We had a horrible experience with a relocation move contracted with National Van Lines (NVL) through their contractor American Way Van & Storage. The salesperson from AWVS lied to us about key aspects of our move. * Moving on 8/9/23 from Cincinnati, ONE person showed up over four hours late, at 1:00 pm, to move all of our possessions from our 2,300 square foot home into an ENTERPRISE box truck * our condo sales contract specified we had to be out of the condo that day because the new owners were closing on ownership the next day with immediate occupancy * the evening of 8/9/23 the ENTERPRISE box truck broke down before our goods were completely out of the sold condo. We were officially trespassing at that point * on 8/10/23 we had to hire 2 men at our own expense to move furniture remaining in the sold condo out of the condo * The items were temporarily stored in the parking garage in a parking spot we no longer had a right to occupy * The driver rented a U-Haul truck and loaded those items onto it. The items were then transferred from the U-Haul to the broken down Enterprise box truck * Our goods spent TWO NIGHTS on a desolate, downtown Cincinnati street behind our building with only a hardware store padlock for protection * On Friday the truck was TOWED to a repair shop with our possessions remaining in the truck * Our goods spent THREE NIGHTS in thein the repair shop at which point they were covered with a coat of soot * Our goods were moved to another filthy ENTERPRISE box truck because the original ENTERPRISE truck could not be repaired quickly * When the truck arrived in Annapolis on 8/16 we saw the most glaring damage to numerous large pieces of furniture * We ended up getting over $10,000 paid to us in verified damage claims. * Now it is up to us to repair/replace the damaged goods * Not to be minimized was the amount of stress and anguish caused to us by National Van Lines due to this very poorly managed move read more

We are completely satisfied with National Van Lines. We moved from Colorado to California. Our first contact was Aaron Bacon. He was able to set up the move and provide an estimate by email since we are not always able to answer the phone; this was very convenient. Aaron always responded promptly and answered all of our questions.  The move went very well. Our mover Nate called to let us know that he'd be there on a Wednesday morning, and he was-as promised. The guys were very friendly and respectful.  They took special care with all of our furniture. We were impressed with how much they wrapped everything. We were the only family on the truck, which meant that they were going to be in San Diego in a couple days, so we high-tailed it out of town. We beat them to our new home, but Nate kept us in the loop about where he was and his status.  Just as when they packed all of our stuff up, they took special care unwrapping it, and offered several times to put our bed together and help with organizing the furniture. On a personal note, all of the guys were very personable and we had some great conversations. After not really talking with strangers for over a year, it was nice to just talk with people and joke around. Whenever we move again, we'll definitely contact Aaron and request mover Nate. They made a stressful situation into a seamless and easy one. read more

If I could give less I would. We moved about a month ago, our belongings haven't arrived. The no later by date has passed so they just changed it. No big deal right? My whole family can just sleep on the floor until you find our stuff. We have called multiple times in this month, received different information each time about procedures. One woman saying a 48 hour window, one woman saying we would have a weeks notice, one man said 24 hours notice. But no notice matters because it's not even here yet. We also have to work around a sky rise move in schedule which costs about 200 per missed visit, a cost they said they're not responsible for because they haven't missed the no later than date, because guess what, they get to move the date around. read more

Our experience with Golden Services Moving out of Oak Harbor WA (a National Van Lines affiliate) was absolutely great at EVERY point of contact. From our initial call to their office, through visit with Greg D.; communication emails and follow up phone calls; the local team that showed up with trucks and helped to pack and move us out of home (shout out to Isaiah, Blaze, Jered); the National Van Line driver who kept us informed over the three day period that he transported our belongings to end point (shout out to Jordan); to the team that worked with Jordan to carefully and cheerfully unload each item (in the pouring rain), check them in number by number on the manifest, and pack them into a storage unit (retirement cottage is NOT quite ready); to the lady in the office who handled over the airways payment and facilitated other important details. We had a varied experience. First, we were offered one rate at 2,000 lbs for our apartment--then after we had signed the contract, we were informed of a summer minimum of 3,000 lbs so they forced us to sign a new contract even after we had already agreed on a final sum, which was at a greatly increased cost to the initial contract. Second, we had not wanted any outsourcing of this task, a key reason we chose NVL, and were contacted by the subcontractor without notice 1-2 weeks before our move was scheduled. When we had started this process of making a contract with NVL, we had very clearly asked whether there would be a third-party mover involved and we were specifically told NO - that NVL does all of the moving and that there is no outsourcing. This was clearly NOT true and when we called NVL to ask why this was happening (they did not even apologize for the third party movers contacting us or not letting us know that this would be happening), we were told that they did not create the schedule properly and that there were not enough movers directly from NVL available for our move so they were outsourcing. We had signed our contract 2-3 months in advance so for them to tell us 2 weeks PRIOR to our move that they would not be honoring our initial discussion was insulting and infuriating. Third, we had very little notice and visibility throughout the entire process. Our items arrived later than we had previously been informed of; we had to call multiple times to the third party to ask when the items would be delivered since NVL could not be bothered to do this on our behalf even though they were the company that forced us to use a third party, and of course we had the third party involvement without being told about this. On the plus side, the people were friendly and the third-party movers were fantastic. We may consider National Van Lines in the future if we had no other options, but we did feel the need to take third-party insurance out when we found out the entire job was subcontracted to another hauler. read more

Upon delivery of our items the workers had opened their door and hit the mail box and damaged the mail box and pole. Upon notifying the driver and workers they stated that they could pay $20 cash right now in order to not do the claim. We refused and they said they still would not do a claim and said that we should not bother calling because they wouldn't do anything, as they had just called and got off the phone(We later found out this was not true). They also were very forceful with signing papers stating there was "No damage done" and that this was needed in order for them to leave. Very upset about the situation. Upon calling customer service and speaking to Mary See. She stated they could replace the mailbox and that that was it and seemed not to care how their employees treated customers that just spent a large sum of money. My experience with National Van Lines was a journey of ups and downs. I used them to move my 1 bedroom apartment from California to Illinois. Overall, the company did the job, didn't scam me, and didn't break or steal any of my things, but it was a frustrating customer experience and clearly a very disorganized business. I'll start with the pros: Aaron Bacon did a thorough job with the FaceTime walkthrough and gave me an accurate quote. The final price I was charged when my stuff was delivered was the same price as the non-binding agreement I signed for my move from California to Illinois. Aaron was also very responsive and easy to reach throughout the process, even on the weekend, which I appreciated. Vince and his team of movers got my stuff to my new address in one piece. Nothing was broken or missing. The moving team was efficient and they wore masks. Now for the cons: National Van Lines is very disorganized. I was told on three separate occasions (9/10, 9/15, and 9/16) that the moving truck was going to arrive that day. However, I woke up on each of those days, didn't hear anything, and reached out to Aaron only to find out that on 9/10 the driver was actually in Wisconsin, on 9/15 he was in Ohio, and on 9/16 he was "broke down in Indiana." When you are sleeping on the floor and living out of a suitcase, this is extremely frustrating!!! On 9/20 (when my stuff finally came) the driver told me he had gone BACK to Ohio after breaking down in Indiana. The geographic logic of this route makes literally no sense (east from California to Wisconsin, THROUGH Illinois, east to Ohio, west to Indiana, then back east to Ohio, and then finally west to Illinois?? And when the driver finally showed up he told me he ALSO took the truck to New York). Either the information they gave me was completely made up or the driver just wakes up every morning and decides to meander to a new state with no strategic route planned. I also needed to change my delivery address and let Aaron know before the driver picked up my stuff in California. Aaron told me the new address was all set on the back end and to write it on the packet National Van Lines had mailed me for the truck driver. I did that, and also verbally specified to the driver that the delivery address was changed when he picked up my things. However, the day before he finally (finally!) showed up in Illinois, he called me to confirm the time, and I asked what address he was going to, and he gave me the original address (not the updated one that I had clearly changed so far in advance). In sum: If I ever move across the country again, I will probably just sell all of my things instead of going through the hassle and expense of hiring a moving company. read more

We had a great experience! We were hesitant at first because of how many long distance moving companies have terrible reviews. Everything went very smoothly for our move from the Bay Area to North Carolina, even over the holidays. Our driver Dennis was in communication with us letting us know when he would pick up our stuff and when he expected to be at the destination. Everything was right on time. I thank you so much for making this move happen smoothly, quickly, and very well done. As you may remember, I was handling getting it all arranged for my friend to move her mother's belongings from a midwest state to a state in the southwest. It was a pretty difficult task, as not everyone was trustworthy or easy to work with from the other moving companies I contacted. When I first spoke with you, I could tell you were professional and sincere. I trusted you from our conversations. My friend is so pleased and relieved her mother's items arrived this morning safely at her home after the cross country move. It was an emotional experience for both of us and you helped make it so much easier. When the movers arrived at the nursing home in the midwest, they packed all the belongings as if they belonged to their own mothers. They were careful, sensitive, and professional. If you enjoy spam calls and texts all day everyday, harassing you, go ahead and request a quote. its amazing. I was going to use them to help me move so in the morning i requested a quote and thought maybe someone would reach out later. went to go get something to eat downstairs in my house came back up and Within 10 minutes, i received 3 calls two texts and emails. it has been nonstop for 2 weeks. I'm very upset with the company that moved me back in September they told me my stuff was going to be in town on a day then they tell me that they don't have a driver an let's start off at the beginning 1 wk before I was to me moved to Org I get a phone call an they was stating that we can move 1 wk sooner An I went to the bank an dep money then I had to wire it then about 2 hrs went buy the the company called me an said I that I just got scammed with a inside job an they new were I was going an the stops that I was going to stay the night an then found out from the DA at the comp they told me I was scam an never saw that money again plus I had to sign paperwork before they came with a dep also an when they did come an pick up my stuff they lied they came in a u-haul an said they was going to this 1 hotel an transfer everything to that truck what a joke they said we will see u in a few days an then they kept on telling me they don't have men to del it an they have to do a manifest on my items an that they did they went thou my stuff an stole a lot of my items an then when they del the items almost a month later it was the same men they had put my stuff in storage an when they came to me it was all in a Ryder truck an they del my stuff an destroyed a lot of my items I'm upset with them an they over charged me also read more

Reading the reviews yes great communication before they pick up stuff. Got my furniture and things picked up on April 29th from Miami Fl with destination to NYC. The estimated arrival was from May 9- May 13. I didn't received any phone calls from the driver on May 12th, so I called the company myself only to be informed that my delivery date changed to May 18th. Haven't received any phone calls the day before either. Now they say it'll be delivered "sometime" between May 19-20th. Very frustrating. Customer service said that in order to claim a discount for delay my furniture has to weight over 3500 pounds, and mine is only 3000 pounds, so it's not heavy enough. Which is a complete joke. Such an inconvenience of the delay and the expenses I otherwise would not have had, if my furniture and all my things were delivered on time. And still waiting! read more

Can't give zero stars, so I guess I'll give one. They missed the three day contracted delivery window and broke almost everything in the truck. We had paid for the extra insurance, so we submitted a substantially justified claim for $8k worth of damaged goods and they reimbursed $800. Absolutely miserable customer experience. My interstate move was a worry for me, but I should not have been so anxious. My move was very efficient and professional at both ends. I was impressed with the communication and on-time performance of the crews. I found the movers to be professional and very experienced in handling both bulky and fragile items.
