Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a moving company. One of the movers showed up looking like he had been on a three day bender. He showed up to my house looking like he hasn't slept in days his pants were falling off his ass. He kept dropping my items I caught him multiple times dragging my items across the floor. My original quote was $470, I only had a few furniture items and maybe six boxes. It took them so long to move those items that Daniel thought he was going to charge me $800 afterwards! Lol then after going through my storage I found one of my mirrors to be cracked. Horrible moving company would never use again. read more

Do not hire this moving company!!! hired 3 guys , two could not understand us or the lead guy. The two guys were new and didn't even know how to move items correctly. caught them multiple on their phones on social media and recording the views to our place. one kept taking smoking breaks as well. I know that moving is a lot so I tried not trip. HOWEVER Daniel (the owner) was notified at which he mentioned he would give a discount. My husband was helping out the whole time because they weren't moving things properly! Not to mention they had to stop and get oils for their truck but we was still charged for the time At the time of payment the discount given was reduced because Daniel was doing the math wrong. The next day I informed the owner about the damages was done to my son headboard and artwork he proceeded to blame my husband and mentioned the discount was for items damaged! (this wasn't possible if I found out after). Not to mention they stole my step ladder!! Daniel didn't handle this matter with accountability however just excuses and pointing the finger . Highly, highly recommend these guys! I contacted Daniel at Move For Less to move two used couches that I bought online: a loveseat and a sleeper sofa. The experience was extremely professional from start to finish. He was easy to stay in touch with via text, and he texted me when he thought he might be a bit late, continuing to follow up with updates (including Google Maps screenshots) until he arrived, which turned out to be a few minutes early. Getting the sleeper sofa into my apartment proved to be almost impossible, but Daniel and his associate were determined: They spent about 45 minutes trying every possible angle (literally!) for getting the sofa into the apartment: removing its legs, attempting to unscrew a door, taking down lights, etc. They somehow (magically) got the sofa in to the apartment! I'm convinced most movers would have given up much sooner, but these guys were friendly, funny, and kind throughout the whole process. The price was great, too, especially considering all of the extra effort they had to put in. I will certainly be calling these guys again and would recommend them to anyone. read more

Company is a JOKE- I would give it a 0 rating if it was an option, they stole my daughters Wii game, an expensive floor heater, a box full of small kitchen appliances, a Kate Spade decorative box and two other small boxes. I've been in touch w/ Daniel and he had the nerve to tell me my things weren't of value which now leads me to believe he's in on the crime. Imagine stealing little by little from their customers-WOW. It's a shame to pay $150 an hour only to have your belongings stolen from a hires company in which you trusted. I checked the back of the truck but I never checked the space in which the movers utilize for travel because I dint think I had to. I decided to hire these movers this month. Two men moved me out from old address only one person moved me in new. I would think it takes more time with one individual moving in at new address. Very few moving companies give seniors a discount. The movers do a game play thinking some seniors as myself do not see what's happening. I definitely would not hire again nor recommend. (the building is secure so two men could have brought in 10 large boxes, a five drawer chest, full size mattress, bed frame and a recliner chair for less time as with one man moving the smaller items). read more

I was so lucky to come across this company. I was in a tough situation, in late December my father in law had broken his hip and needed to be in the hospital/rehab indefinitely, so I had to get his entire apartment packed up and moved into a storage unit with one days notice (!). They showed up early, helped me pack up the apartment, and moved it effortlessly into a storage unit. They were so professional and careful with everything. They did exactly what they said they were going to do, and charged a fair price. It could not have gone more smoothly. Then, when my father in law was ready to move into an assisted living facility, we were in quarantine! It seemed like logistically it would be impossible to make happen. I got in touch with Daniel at Move For Less and he said he could do it. He and one other person showed up with masks and gloves to the storage unit, they were able to follow my directions via phone/text/Facetime, and they moved a portion of the storage unit to the facility. They got everything right, and unpacked it all for my father in law, who would be unable to do that himself, and no visitors were allowed to accompany the movers. It was such a tough situation, and they could not have handled it more professionally and compassionately. I fully recommend this company, I have never had such a nice experience with movers. I found these guys through a neighborhood Facebook page. Daniel was very responsive and immediately I hired them. I gave them a chance because of their ability to adapt to my limited schedule. He showed up 30 minutes earlier, immediately began to work with his crew, made a few professional suggestions and quite frankly made me feel comfortable during a very stressful situation (moving). I already passed out their information to a couple of my friends, I highly recommend these guys. FYI, none of my property was damaged during the move. read more

So the only good thing about the move was that since i didnt have alot of stuff the move was fast. I was very disappointed that the mover ruined my bar by trying to squeeze it threw the door. Instead of saying it didnt fit continued to push it threw the door. The worker who was picked up at home depo had no clue what he was doing. Throwing boxes etc.was not happy at all and for the price i paid for my stuff to get ruined was not worth it. read more

These guys are great! My boyfriend and I moved in together from 2 different apartments very far apart. So we booked them for the weekend. It rained all weekend and they covered all our stuff. Huge truck, Nothing broke, they worked quickly. They were very friendly, funny (which you need at this stressful time) and professional. I def recommend these guys! read more

I set up an appointment with Daniel the owner I booked the move for 3 hours I asked what if it takes longer than 3 hours he says they will stay till the job is done. The guys came right on time they were moving the furniture doing a great job. 2 o clock came around which was the third hour and they were ready to get the paperwork. I told them that they're still stuff to move this round table goes downstairs in the basement in the family room the file cabinet in the basement goes out to the patio and the cabinet in the basement goes up these five stairs to The Landing but I think you should take the file cabinet out first because if you put that cabinet on the stairs you might not be able to get the file cabinet outside. they got the file cabinet out I went to get the money to pay them while I was doing that I figured they moved the other furniture. I should have did a walk-through. Because the round table that was supposed to go in the family room in the basement was sitting in my laundry room. The cabinet that was supposed to go on the landing was still in the basement. And at that time I noticed they left their tools so I figured they'll call for them and I'll tell him you didn't move the cabinets and they would move it i don't think it would even take 3 minutes. He called for his tools I told him you didn't move the other furniture. you knew that the cabinet and the table was supposed to be moved. He told me to call him tomorrow and you could pay me to move them. I paid for extra 15 minutes to move a file cabinet the other three minutes could have been with the 15 and I would have paid the same price. I text Daniel and he said he would give me a flat rate. I'm not paying extra for furniture they knew they were supposed to move. They were in a hurry even leaving their tools behind. You got to do a walk-through otherwise the move was great. But now I have to find someone to move the table and cabinet without charging me. read more

This service was amazing. Daniel worked with me to arrange a bit of a complicated move into a senior center. Upon arrival we had problems with the elevator service and he had no problem working out a solution. They were polite, affordable, on time and very easy to work with.
