This is a great place to get great food at a reasonable price. I have been playing darts on Tuesday Nights here for over a dozen years. It is one of four places the league plays out of in Chico. Darts is a great game and Nash's has taken care of the local dart players for years. Fish tacos, Philly Cheese Steak, and their salads are my favorite go tos. Sunday brunch is very popular. I really liked this place. Upon entry you get out on a wait list because, of course, a lot of people eat at a good place. Indoor seating has around 800sq and there is even a frat outdoor section. Bathrooms are just fine, nothing out of ordinary from a busy diner/restaurant setup. I can for Breakfast and at 10am on a Saturday with 4 people was sat in 10 minutes. Staff was overly kind and very on top of it. They are working like well oiled machines. The food was great. Exactly what you want and expect from a local small town go to. I got the Garden Burrito which was packed with so much flavor I couldn't believe how many veggies were inside. The hash browns are also amazing. I didn't have to add anything to them to make them taste any better. I go to try the chicken and waffles which was also amazing. Solid seasoning on the chicken which is cut thin to my liking and the waffle was great. Definitely worth a lunch/dinner visit now! read more

Came here for dinner with a large party. The service was extremely slow. They had zero vegan protein options - which is just stupid in this day and age. I don't run a restaurant, but I can't imagine it takes a lot to offer a Beyond burger, or simply tofu as a protein option for salads. Heck, even beans are dirt cheap. My family enjoyed their meals but I was not satisfied. I went home and ate a real dinner afterwards. They also brought everyone's food out before the kids at the table. They actually forgot one of the orders for the toddler so it was an absolute delight placating them. The only nice thing about my experience was that the wait staff was friendly and very apologetic. Seemed more like poor management than the fault of the staff. I would not dine here again and will redirect parties I'm dining with. read more

Pretty good food with nice atmosphere both outside as well as in their large dining area. Service has always been descent. Am thankful that starting Nov 2021 Nash is again having Blues night the first wednesday of every month (excluding summer months). Havarti mushroom burger plate was pretty good. Way too much salt on both the burger as well as the fries however. I'm not fond of the waitresses asking to hold my credit card to "start a tab." 3.75% added to the bill when using credit cards to pay. read more

bottomless mimosas are good...if u consider two refills bottomless. Staff stands around and doesn't service you, EVEN tho ur paying for bottomless. and the little absurd juice cups they give you are $4 each. INSANE. HOWEVER... I'll start by saying I've come to Nash's restaurant every year for my birthday with a larger party for the last several years and have never been treated this way. Even though I'm aware Nash's doesn't take reservations for Saturday morning we still called a few days before to ensure they would be able to accommodate a party of 12. We were politely told it would not be a problem and while they don't take reservations to try and arrive 20 minutes early to put a name down and when half the party arrived we could be seated. Ok, so Saturday 8/24/24 I arrive promptly at 9:40 and inform a young shorter girl with black hair in a low bun that my party of 12 will be arriving at 10. She looks up at me very annoyed and says "well did you call?" I say "I thought you didn't take reservations Saturday morning, but I did infact call and was told to arrive 20 minutes early and it would be no problem..." she told me to have a seat. 25 minutes later, she approached me and said "I can seat your party right now outside." It was lightly raining and very windy and I said you know we all prefer inside. She says "well that's gonna be another 30 minutes." I said that's totally fine, worth the wait to not be eating in the cold wet and wind. She rolled her eyes and walked off. Me and my party of 12 continued to wait inside in the lobby for an additional 45 minutes with the same young front desk girl with black hair consistently looking at us with disgust. She walked by several time to call people from the outside waiting area and multiple times I smiled as she walked by and she not once returned a smile but instead had an annoyed look at us. After over an hour of waiting we politely asked about how much longer and if there was any other set of tables we could be sat at and instead of looking around to find a solution she would flat out quickly say no. RIGHT infront of us there was a table of empty 12 seats that would have seated us perfectly and we inquired about possibly sitting there and she said "no, you guys would make this room too loud." Mind you, we had already been sitting inside in the lobby for over an hour and had not once gone above volume. The table they were allegedly waiting on finally became available we waited an additional 15-20 minutes for the table to be cleaned. We counted over 15 groups of parties of 4-6 people come in after us and were seated promptly yet we were waiting there for our table for an hour and a half with no efforts to accommodate us. The girl at the front desk with the black hair was extremely rude and it got to the point where every member of our party felt uncomfortable and ready to walk out because we did not feel respected in the way she was answering our questions and looking us up and down every few minutes. I would like to add that our server and the young girl serving our drinks once we were seated were very pleasant and we have no complaints at all about them. Our party ranged from women between 20s-50s and even the older women in our party were appalled by the behavior and attitude of the girl with the black hair at the front desk. One of the ladies in our party asked on our way out to speak to a manager and she said "there's no manager here." We asked if there was a supervisor or any kind of team leader or higher up person and she rudely said "we don't have anyone like that on site ever." We were just hoping we could share our experience with someone so they could try and correct the behavior of the girl with the black hair. This why I resulted to publicly sharing my experience on here, because it was blatantly disrespectful and jarring how we were treated. We were also a party of "color", so I hate to think that had anything to do with her treatment of us. I use to love and respect this establishment but can't agree to return with someone like that being the first point of contact to their prospective customers. read more

Service ok Decor and ambiance is fine They sat us right in front of the ac wall unit and they turned on and the air was blowing on us and our food. We turned it off but it had already ruined the experience and food for cold quick. Food was well presented and smelt good. Taste of food was good. The chilaquiles were really good! Those are hard to find with good taste and chips still a little Crunchy. We will try again to see if it's really worth it. read more

This place is just adorable and the brunch is fabulous. We got nice meals in a very pretty patio setting for our Girl's Day and the plants and shade kept us cool and comfortable.
